1 The law of the Nazarites. 22 The form of blessing the people.

 6:1 Again the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 6:2 “Speak 1696 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 and say 559 to them, ‘When 3588 a man 376 or 176 woman 802 makes 6381 a special 6381 vow 5087, the vow 5088 of a Nazirite 5139, to dedicate 5144b himself to the LORD 3068,

 6:3 he shall abstain 5144b from wine 3196 and strong 7941 drink 7941; he shall drink 7941 no 3808 vinegar 2558, whether made from wine 3196 or strong 7941 drink 8354, nor 3808 shall he drink 8354 any 3605 grape 6025 juice 4952 nor 3808 eat 398 fresh 3892 or dried 3002 grapes 6025.

 6:4 ‘All 3605 the days 3117 of his separation 5145 he shall not eat 398 anything 4480 3605 that is produced 6213a by the grape 3196 vine 1612, from [the] seeds 2785 even to [the] skin 2085.

 6:5 ¶ ‘All 3605 the days 3117 of his vow 5088 of separation 5145 no 3808 razor 8593 shall pass 5674a over 5921 his head 7218. He shall be holy 6918 until 5704 the days 3117 are fulfilled 4390 for which 834 he separated 5144b himself to the LORD 3068; he shall let the locks 6545 of hair 8181 on his head 7218 grow 1431 long 1431.

 6:6 ¶ ‘All 3605 the days 3117 of his separation 5144b to the LORD 3068 he shall not go 935 near to a dead 4191 person 5315.

 6:7 ‘He shall not make 2930 himself unclean 2930 for his father 1 or for his mother 517, for his brother 251 or for his sister 269, when they die 4194, because 3588 his separation 5145 to God 430 is on his head 7218.

 6:8 ‘All 3605 the days 3117 of his separation 5145 he is holy 6918 to the LORD 3068.

 6:9 ¶ ‘But if 3588 a man dies 4191 very 6621 suddenly 6597 beside 5921 him and he defiles 2930 his dedicated 5145 head 7218 [of hair], then he shall shave 1548 his head 7218 on the day 3117 when he becomes 2893 clean 2893; he shall shave 1548 it on the seventh 7637 day 3117.

 6:10 ‘Then on the eighth 8066 day 3117 he shall bring 935 two 8147 turtledoves 8449 or 176 two 8147 young 1121 pigeons 3123 to the priest 3548, to the doorway 6607 of the tent 168 of meeting 4150.

 6:11 ‘The priest 3548 shall offer 6213a one 259 for a sin 2403b offering 2403b and [the] other 259 for a burnt 5930a offering 5930a, and make 3722a atonement 3722a for him concerning 4480 834 his sin 2398 because 5921 of the [dead] person 5315. And that same 1931 day 3117 he shall consecrate 6942 his head 7218,

 6:12 and shall dedicate 5144b to the LORD 3068 his days 3117 as a Nazirite 5145, and shall bring 935 a male 3532 lamb 3532 a year 8141 old 1121 for a guilt 817 offering 817; but the former 7223 days 3117 will be void 5307 because 3588 his separation 5145 was defiled 2930.

 6:13 ¶ ‘Now this 2088 is the law 8451 of the Nazirite 5139 when 3117 the days 3117 of his separation 5145 are fulfilled 4390, he shall bring 935 the offering to the doorway 6607 of the tent 168 of meeting 4150.

 6:14 ‘He shall present 7126 his offering 7133a to the LORD 3068: one 259 male 3532 lamb 3532 a year 8141 old 1121 without 8549 defect 8549 for a burnt 5930a offering 5930a and one 259 ewe-lamb 3535 a year 8141 old 1323 without 8549 defect 8549 for a sin 2403b offering 2403b and one 259 ram 352a without 8549 defect 8549 for a peace 8002 offering 8002,

 6:15 and a basket 5536 of unleavened 4682 cakes 2471 of fine 5560 flour 5560 mixed 1101a with oil 8081 and unleavened 4682 wafers 7550 spread 4886 with oil 8081, along with their grain offering 4503 and their drink 5262a offering 4503.

 6:16 ‘Then the priest 3548 shall present 7126 [them] before 6440 the LORD 3068 and shall offer 6213a his sin 2403b offering 2403b and his burnt 5930a offering 5930a.

 6:17 ‘He shall also offer 6213a the ram 352a for a sacrifice 2077 of peace 8002 offerings 8002 to the LORD 3068, together 5921 with the basket 5536 of unleavened 4682 cakes 4682; the priest 3548 shall likewise offer 6213a its grain offering 4503 and its drink 5262a offering 5262a.

 6:18 ‘The Nazirite 5139 shall then shave 1548 his dedicated 5145 head 7218 [of hair] at the doorway 6607 of the tent 168 of meeting 4150, and take 3947 the dedicated 5145 hair 8181 of his head 7218 and put 5414 [it] on the fire 784 which 834 is under 8478 the sacrifice 2077 of peace 8002 offerings 8002.

 6:19 ‘The priest 3548 shall take 3947 the ram’s 352a shoulder 2220 [when it has been] boiled 1311, and one 259 unleavened 4682 cake 2471 out of the basket 5536 and one 259 unleavened 4682 wafer 7550, and shall put 5414 [them] on the hands 3709 of the Nazirite 5139 after 310 he has shaved 1548 his dedicated 5145 [hair].

 6:20 ‘Then the priest 3548 shall wave 5130 them for a wave 8573 offering 8573 before 6440 the LORD 3068. It is holy 6944 for the priest 3548, together 5921 with the breast 2373 offered 8573 by waving 8573 and the thigh 7785 offered 8641 by lifting 8641 up; and afterward 310 the Nazirite 5139 may drink 8354 wine 3196.’

 6:21 ¶ “This 2088 is the law 8451 of the Nazirite 5139 who 834 vows 5087 his offering 7133a to the LORD 3068 according 5921 to his separation 5145, in addition 4480 905 to what 834 [else] he can afford 5381 3027; according to his vow 5087 which 834 he takes 5087, so 3651 he shall do 6213a according 5921 to the law 8451 of his separation 5145.”

 6:22 ¶ Then the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 6:23 “Speak 1696 to Aaron 175 and to his sons 1121, saying 559, ‘Thus 3541 you shall bless 1288 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478. You shall say 559 to them:

 6:24 ¶ The LORD 3068 bless 1288 you, and keep 8104 you;

 6:25 ¶ The LORD 3068 make 215 His face 6440 shine 215 on you, And be gracious 2603a to you;

 6:26 ¶ The LORD 3068 lift 5375 up His countenance 6440 on you, And give 7760 you peace 7965.’

 6:27 “So they shall invoke 7760 My name 8034 on the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, and I [then] will bless 1288 them.”
