Numbers 12

1 God rebuketh the sedition of Miriam and Aaron. 10 Miriam's leprosy is healed at the prayer of Moses. 14 God commandeth her to be shut out of the host.

 12:1 Then Miriam 4813 and Aaron 175 spoke 1696 against Moses 4872 because 5921 182 of the Cushite 3571 woman 802 whom 834 he had married 3947 (for he had married 3947 a Cushite 3571 woman 802);

 12:2 and they said 559, “Has the LORD 3068 indeed 389 spoken 1696 only 7534 389 through Moses 4872? Has He not spoken 1696 through us as well 1571?” And the LORD 3068 heard 8085 it.

 12:3 (Now the man 376 Moses 4872 was very 3966 humble 6035, more 4480 than 4480 any 3605 man 120 who 834 was on the face 6440 of the earth 127.)

 12:4 Suddenly 6597 the LORD 3068 said 559 to Moses 4872 and Aaron 175 and to Miriam 4813, “You three 7969 come 3318 out to the tent 168 of meeting 4150.” So the three 7969 of them came 3318 out.

 12:5 Then the LORD 3068 came 3381 down 3381 in a pillar 5982 of cloud 6051 and stood 5975 at the doorway 6607 of the tent 168, and He called 7121 Aaron 175 and Miriam 4813. When they had both 8147 come 3318 forward 3318,

 12:6 He said 559, “Hear 8085 now 4994 My words 1697: If 518 there is a prophet 5030 among you, I, the LORD 3068, shall make 3045 Myself known 3045 to him in a vision 4759a. I shall speak 1696 with him in a dream 2472.

 12:7 “Not so 3651, with My servant 5650 Moses 4872, He is faithful 539 in all 3605 My household 1004;

 12:8 With him I speak 1696 mouth 6310 to mouth 6310, Even openly 4758, and not in dark 2420 sayings 2420, And he beholds 5027 the form 8544 of the LORD 3068. Why 4069 then were you not afraid 3372a To speak 1696 against My servant 5650, against Moses 4872?”

 12:9 ¶ So the anger 639 of the LORD 3068 burned 2734 against them and He departed 1980.

 12:10 But when the cloud 6051 had withdrawn 5493 from over 5921 the tent 168, behold 2009, Miriam 4813 [was] leprous 6879, as [white as] snow 7950. As Aaron 175 turned 6437 toward 413 Miriam 4813, behold 2009, she [was] leprous 6879.

 12:11 Then Aaron 175 said 559 to Moses 4872, “Oh 994a, my lord 113, I beg 994a you, do not account 7896 [this] sin 2403b to us, in which 834 we have acted 2973 foolishly 2973 and in which 834 we have sinned 2398.

 12:12 “Oh 4994, do not let her be like one dead 4191, whose 834 flesh 1320 is half 2677 eaten 398 away when he comes 3318 from his mother’s 517 womb 7358!”

 12:13 Moses 4872 cried 6817 out to the LORD 3068, saying 559, “O God 410, heal 7495 her, I pray 4994!”

 12:14 But the LORD 3068 said 559 to Moses 4872, “If her father 1 had but spit 3417 in her face 6440, would she not bear 3637 her shame 3637 for seven 7651 days 3117? Let her be shut 5462 up for seven 7651 days 3117 outside 4480 2351 the camp 4264, and afterward 310 she may be received 622 again.”

 12:15 So Miriam 4813 was shut 5462 up outside 4480 2351 the camp 4264 for seven 7651 days 3117, and the people 5971a did not move 5265 on until 5704 Miriam 4813 was received 622 again.

 12:16 ¶ Afterward 310, however, the people 5971a moved 5265 out from Hazeroth 2698 and camped 2583 in the wilderness 4057b of Paran 6290.
