These also [are] the generations of Aharon and Mosheh in the day [that] Yahweh spake with Mosheh in mount Sinay. |

the firstborn,°

And Nadav and Avihu died before Yahweh, when they offered strange fire before Yahweh, in the wilderness of Sinay, and they had no children: and Elazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aharon their father. |

that they may minister°°
unto him. |

Bring the tribe of Lewi near, and present them before Aharon the priest, that they may minister unto him. |

of the whole°
congregation°
before°
the tabernacle°
of the congregation,°

the service°

[are] wholly given°°
unto him out of°°
the children°

And thou shalt give the Lewiyyim unto Aharon and to his sons: they [are] wholly given unto him out of the children of Yisrael. |

And thou shalt appoint°°

and his sons,°
and they shall wait on°°°
their priest's office:°
and the stranger°°
that cometh nigh°
shall be put to death.°° |

Læwiyyim

And I, behold, I have taken the Lewiyyim from among the children of Yisrael instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Yisrael: therefore the Lewiyyim shall be mine; |

Because all the firstborn [are] mine; [for] on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Mitzrayim I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Yisrael, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I [am] Yahweh. |

thereof, and the hanging°
for the door°

And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation [shall be] the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, |

and the curtain°

[is] by°
the tabernacle,°
and by°
the altar°
round about,°
and the cords°
of it for all°
the service°

And of Qehath [was] the family of the Amramim, and the family of the Yitzharim, and the family of the Chevronim, and the family of the Ozzielim: these [are] the families of the Qehathim. |

the service°
thereof. |

Take the Lewiyyim instead of all the firstborn among the children of Yisrael, and the cattle of the Lewiyyim instead of their cattle; and the Lewiyyim shall be mine: I [am] Yahweh. |

and threescore and thirteen°°
of the firstborn°°
of the children°

the
Læwiyyim

And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Yisrael, which are more than the Lewiyyim; |

by the poll,°
after the shekel°
