מְנַשֶּׁה,°
of the families°

Mænaššè
מְנַשֶּׁה°
the son°
of
Yôsëf
יוֹסֵף:°
and these°
[are] the names°
of his daughters;°
Maçlà
מַחלָה,°
Nöåç
נֹחַ,°
and
Çoqlà
חָגלָה,°
and
Milcà
מִלכָּה,°
and
Tirxà
תִּרצָה.° |

27:1 ¶
Then came the daughters of Tzelofchad, the son of Chefer, the son of Gilad, the son of Makhir, the son of Menashsheh, of the families of Menashsheh the son of Yosef: and these [are] the names of his daughters; Machlah, Noach, and Choglah, and Milkah, and Tirtzah. |

the priest,°
and before°
the princes°
and all°
the congregation,°
[by] the door°
of the tabernacle°
of the congregation,°

And they stood before Mosheh, and before Elazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, [by] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, |

Our father°
died°°
in the wilderness,°
and he°
was°
not°
in°
the company°
of them that gathered themselves together°°
against°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
in the company°
of
Köraç
קֹרַח;°
but°
died°°
in his own sin,°
and had°
no°
sons.° |

Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against Yahweh in the company of Qorach; but died in his own sin, and had no sons. |

Why°
should the name°
of our father°
be done away°°
from among°°
his family,°
because°
he hath no°
son?°
Give°°
unto us [therefore] a possession°
among°
the brethren°
of our father.° |

27:4
Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us [therefore] a possession among the brethren of our father. |

And Mosheh brought their cause before Yahweh. |

מֹשֶׁה,°

And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying, |

The daughters°
of
Xælofçäđ
צְלָפחָד°
speak°°
right:°
thou shalt surely°°
give°°
them a possession°
of an inheritance°
among°
their father's°
brethren;°
and thou shalt cause°
the inheritance°
of their father°
to pass°°
unto them. |

The daughters of Tzelofchad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them. |

And thou shalt speak°°
unto°
the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
saying,°°
If°
a man°
die,°°
and have no°
son,°
then ye shall cause°
his inheritance°
to pass°°
unto his daughter.° |

And thou shalt speak unto the children of Yisrael, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter. |

And if°
he have no°
daughter,°
then ye shall give°°°
his inheritance°
unto his brethren.° |

And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren. |

brethren,°
then ye shall give°°°
his inheritance°
unto his father's°
brethren.° |

And if he have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his father's brethren. |

unto his kinsman°

him of his family,°°

of judgment,°

יָהוֶה°

And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Yisrael a statute of judgment, as Yahweh commanded Mosheh. |

Get thee up°°

mount°
`Ávärîm
עֲבָרִים,°
and see°°°
the land°
which°
I have given°°
unto the children°

27:12 ¶
And Yahweh said unto Mosheh, Get thee up into this mount Avarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Yisrael. |

And when thou hast seen°°
it, thou°
also°
shalt be gathered°°
unto°
thy people,°
as°
´Ahárön
אַהֲרֹן°
thy brother°
was gathered.°° |

And when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered unto thy people, as Aharon thy brother was gathered. |

27:14
For°
ye rebelled°°
against°
my commandment°
in the desert°
of
Xin
צִן,°
in the strife°
of the congregation,°
to sanctify°°
me at the water°
before their eyes:°
that°
[is] the water°
of
Mærîvà
מְרִיבָה°
in
Käđëš
קָדֵשׁ°
in the wilderness°
of
Xin
צִן.° |

For ye rebelled against my commandment in the desert of Tzin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the water before their eyes: that [is] the water of Merivah in Qadesh in the wilderness of Tzin. |

27:15 ¶

And Mosheh spake unto Yahweh, saying, |

of the spirits°
of all°
flesh,°
set°°
a man°
over°
the congregation,° |

Let Yahweh, the Elohim of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, |

27:17
Which°
may go out°°
before°
them, and which°
may go in°°
before°
them, and which°
may lead them out,°°
and which°
may bring them in;°°
that the congregation°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
be°
not°
as sheep°
which°
have no°
shepherd.°° |

Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of Yahweh be not as sheep which have no shepherd. |

27:18 ¶
And

יְהוֹשֻׁעַ°
the son°

Nûn
נוּן,°
a man°
in whom°
[is] the spirit,°

thine hand°
upon°
him; |

And Yahweh said unto Mosheh, Take thee Yehoshua the son of Nun, a man in whom [is] the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him; |

And set°°
him before°
´El`äzär
אֶלעָזָר°
the priest,°
and before°
all°
the congregation;°
and give him a charge°°°
in their sight.° |

And set him before Elazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight. |

27:20
And thou shalt put°°
[some] of thine honour°°
upon°
him, that°
all°
the congregation°
of the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
may be obedient.°° |

And thou shalt put [some] of thine honour upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Yisrael may be obedient. |

27:21
And he shall stand°°
before°
´El`äzär
אֶלעָזָר°
the priest,°
who shall ask°°
[counsel] for him after the judgment°
of
´Ûrîm
אוּרִים°
before°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה:°
at°
his word°
shall they go out,°°
and at°
his word°
they shall come in,°°
[both] he,°
and all°
the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
with°
him, even all°
the congregation.° |

27:21
And he shall stand before Elazar the priest, who shall ask [counsel] for him after the judgment of Urim before Yahweh: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, [both] he, and all the children of Yisrael with him, even all the congregation. |

his hands°
upon°
him, and gave him a charge,°°

commanded°°
by the hand°
of
Möšè
מֹשֶׁה.° |

And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as Yahweh commanded by the hand of Mosheh. |
