And Yahweh spake unto Mosheh, saying, |

Speak°°
unto°
the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
and take°°
of°°
every one of them a rod°
according to the house°
of [their] fathers,°
of°°
all°
their princes°
according to the house°
of their fathers°
twelve°°
rods:°
write°°
thou°
every man's°
name°
upon°
his rod.° |

Speak unto the children of Yisrael, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of [their] fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod. |

And thou shalt write°°
´Ahárön's
אַהֲרֹן°
name°
upon°
the rod°
of
Lëwî
לֵוִי:°
for°
one°
rod°
[shall be] for the head°
of the house°
of their fathers.° |

17:3
And thou shalt write Aharon's name upon the rod of Lewi: for one rod [shall be] for the head of the house of their fathers. |
|
17:4
And thou shalt lay them up°°°
in the tabernacle°
of the congregation°
before°
the testimony,°
where°°
I will meet°°
with you. |

And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you. |
|
17:5
And it shall come to pass,°
[that] the man's°
rod,°
whom°
I shall choose,°°
shall blossom:°°
and I will make to cease°°
from°°
me°
the murmurings°
of the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
whereby°
they°
murmur°°
against°
you. |

17:5
And it shall come to pass, [that] the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Yisrael, whereby they murmur against you. |

17:6 ¶
And

and every one°
of their princes°
gave°°°
him a rod°
apiece,°°°
for each prince°
one,°
according to their fathers'°
houses,°
[even] twelve°°
rods:°
and the rod°
of
´Ahárön
אַהֲרֹן°
[was] among°
their rods.° |

17:6 ¶
And Mosheh spake unto the children of Yisrael, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, [even] twelve rods: and the rod of Aharon [was] among their rods. |

the rods°

יָהוֶה°
in the tabernacle°
of witness.° |

And Mosheh laid up the rods before Yahweh in the tabernacle of witness. |

And it came to pass,°
that on the morrow°°
Möšè
מֹשֶׁה°
went°°
into°
the tabernacle°
of witness;°
and, behold,°
the rod°
of
´Ahárön
אַהֲרֹן°
for the house°
of
Lëwî
לֵוִי°
was budded,°°
and brought forth°°
buds,°
and bloomed°°
blossoms,°
and yielded°°
almonds.° |

17:8
And it came to pass, that on the morrow Mosheh went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aharon for the house of Lewi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. |

יִשׂרָאֵל:°
and they looked,°°
and took°°
every man°

And Mosheh brought out all the rods from before Yahweh unto all the children of Yisrael: and they looked, and took every man his rod. |

17:10 ¶
And
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
said°°
unto°
Möšè
מֹשֶׁה,°
Bring°°°
´Ahárön's
אַהֲרֹן°
rod°
again°°
before°
the testimony,°
to be kept°
for a token°
against the rebels;°°
and thou shalt quite take away°°
their murmurings°
from°°
me, that they die°°
not.° |

17:10 ¶
And Yahweh said unto Mosheh, Bring Aharon's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not. |

17:11
And

יָהוֶה°
commanded°°
him, so°
did°°
he. |

And Mosheh did [so]: as Yahweh commanded him, so did he. |

And the children°

יִשׂרָאֵל°
spake°°
unto°
Möšè
מֹשֶׁה,°
saying,°°
Behold,°
we die,°°
we perish,°°
we all°
perish.°° |
|
17:12
And the children of Yisrael spake unto Mosheh, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish. |
|
17:13
Whosoever°
cometh any thing near°
unto°
the tabernacle°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
shall die:°°
shall we be consumed°°
with dying?°° |
|
17:13
Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of Yahweh shall die: shall we be consumed with dying? |
