 25:1 ¶ And king David and the captains of the host appointed to their services the sons of Asaph, and of Heman{gr.Aeman}, and of Jeduthun{gr.Idithun}, prophesiers with harps, and lutes, and cymbals: and their number was according to their polls serving in their ministrations.

 25:1 ¶ Moreover David° and the captains° of the host° separated°° to the service° of the sons° of Asaph,° and of Heman,° and of Jeduthun,° who should prophesy°°°° with harps,° with psalteries,° and with cymbals:° and the number° of the workmen°°° according to their service° was:°

 25:2 The sons of Asaph; Sacchur, Joseph, and Nethaniah{gr.Nathanias}, and Erael: the sons of Asaph [were] next the king.

 25:2 Of the sons° of Asaph;° Zaccur,° and Joseph,° and Nethaniah,° and Asarelah,° the sons° of Asaph° under° the hands° of Asaph,° which prophesied°° according to° the order° of the king.°

 25:3 To Jeduthun{gr.Idithun} [were reckoned] the sons of Jeduthun{gr.Idithun}, Gedaliah{gr.Godolias}, and Suri, and Iseas, and Hashabiah{gr.Asabias}, and Matthathias, six after their father Jeduthun{gr.Idithun}, sounding loudly on the harp thanksgiving and praise to the Lord.

 25:3 Of Jeduthun:° the sons° of Jeduthun;° Gedaliah,° and Zeri,° and Jeshaiah,° Hashabiah,° and Mattithiah,° six,° under° the hands° of their father° Jeduthun,° who prophesied°° with a harp,° to° give thanks°° and to praise°° Yahweh.°

 25:4 To Heman{gr.Aeman} [were reckoned] the sons of Heman{gr.Aeman}, Bukias, and Mattaniah{gr.Matthanias}, and Uzziel{gr.Oziel}, and Subael, and Jerimoth, and Hananiah{gr.Ananias}, and Hanan{gr.Anan}, and Heliatha, and Godollathi, and Rometthiezer, and Jesbasaca, and Mallithi, and Otheri, and Meazoth.

 25:4 Of Heman:° the sons° of Heman;° Bukkiah,° Mattaniah,° Uzziel,° Shebuel,° and Jerimoth,° Hananiah,° Hanani,° Eliathah,° Giddalti,° and Romamtiezer,° Joshbekashah,° Mallothi,° Hothir,° [and] Mahazioth:°

 25:5 All these [were] the sons of Heman{gr.Aeman} the king's chief player in the praises of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman{gr.Aeman} fourteen sons, and three daughters.

 25:5 All° these° [were] the sons° of Heman° the king's° seer° in the words° of Elohim,° to lift up°° the horn.° And Elohim° gave°° to Heman° fourteen°° sons° and three° daughters.°

 25:6 All these sang hymns with their father in the house of God, with cymbals, and lutes, and harps, for the service of the house of God, near the king, and Asaph, and Jeduthun{gr.Idithun}, and Heman{gr.Aeman}.

 25:6 All° these° [were] under° the hands° of their father° for song° [in] the house° of Yahweh,° with cymbals,° psalteries,° and harps,° for the service° of the house° of Elohim,° according to° the king's° order° to Asaph,° Jeduthun,° and Heman.°

 25:7 And the number of them after their brethren, those instructed to sing to God, every one that understood [singing] was two hundred and eighty-eight.

 25:7 So the number° of them, with° their brethren° that were instructed°° in the songs° of Yahweh,° [even] all° that were cunning,°° was° two hundred° fourscore° and eight.°

 25:8 ¶ And they also cast lots for the daily courses, for the great and the small [of them], of the perfect ones and the learners.

 25:8 ¶ And they cast°° lots,° ward° against° [ward], as well the small° as the great,° the teacher°° as° the scholar.°

 25:9 And the first lot of his sons and of his brethren came forth to Asaph the son of Joseph, [namely], Gedaliah{gr.Godolias}: the second Heneia, his sons and his brethren [being] twelve.

 25:9 Now the first° lot° came forth°° for Asaph° to Joseph:° the second° to Gedaliah,° who° with his brethren° and sons° [were] twelve:°°

 25:10 The third Zaccur{gr.Zacchur}, his sons and his brethren [were] twelve:

 25:11 the fourth Jesri, his sons and his brethren [were] twelve:
