  13:1 ¶
And David took counsel with the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, [even with] every commander. |

And David said to the whole congregation of Israel, If it [seem] good to you, and it should be prospered by the Lord our God, let us send to our brethren that are left in all the land of Israel, and let the priests the Levites who are with them in the cities of their possession [come], and let them be gathered to us. |
|

unto all°
the congregation°
of Israel,°
If°
[it seem] good°°
unto°
you, and [that it be] of°
Yahweh°
our Elohim,°
let us send°°
abroad°°
unto°
our brethren°
every where, [that are] left°°
in all°
the land°
of Israel,°
and with°
them [also] to the priests°
and Levites°
[which are] in their cities°
[and] suburbs,°
that they may gather°°
themselves°
unto°
us: |

And let us bring over to us the ark of our God; for men have not enquired [at] it since the days of Saul. |

to°
us: for°
we enquired°°
not°
at it in the days°
of Saul.° |

And all the congregation said that they would do thus; for the saying was right in the eyes of all the people. |

for°
the thing°
was right°°
in the eyes°
of all°
the people.° |

So David assembled all Israel, from the borders of Mizraim{gr.Egypt} even to the entering in of Hemath, to bring in the ark of God from the city of Jarim. |

all°
Israel°
together,°°
from°
Shihor°
of Egypt°
even unto°
the entering°°
of Hemath,°
to bring°°°
the ark°
of Elohim°
from Kirjathjearim.°° |

And David brought it up: and all Israel went up to the city of David, which belonged to Judah{gr.Juda}, to bring up thence the ark of the Lord God who sits between the cherubim, whose name is called [on it]. |

Israel,°
to Baalah,°
[that is], to°
Kirjathjearim,°
which°
[belonged] to Judah,°
to bring up°°
thence°°°
the ark°
of Elohim°
Yahweh,°
that dwelleth°°
[between] the cherubims,°
whose°
name°
is called°°
[on it]. |

And they set the ark of God on a new waggon [brought] out of the house of Amminadab{gr.Aminadab}: and Uzzah{gr.Oza} and his brethren drove the waggon. |

And they carried°°°
the ark°
of Elohim°
in°
a new°
cart°
out of the house°°
of Abinadab:°
and Uzza°
and Ahio°
drave°°
the cart.° |

And David and all Israel [were] playing before the Lord with all their might, and [that] together with singers, and with harps, and with lutes, with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets. |

played°°
before°
Elohim°
with all°
[their] might,°
and with singing,°
and with harps,°
and with psalteries,°
and with timbrels,°
and with cymbals,°
and with trumpets.° |

13:9 ¶
And they came as far as the threshing-floor: and Uzzah{gr.Oza} put forth his hand to hold the ark, because the bullock moved it from [its place]. |

And when they came°°
unto°
the threshingfloor°
of Chidon,°
Uzza°
put forth°°°
his hand°
to hold°°°
the ark;°
for°
the oxen°
stumbled.°° |

13:10
And the Lord was very angry with Uzzah{gr.Oza}, and smote him there, because of his stretching forth his hand upon the ark: and he died there before God. |

And the anger°
of Yahweh°
was kindled°°
against Uzza,°
and he smote°°°
him, because°°
he put°°
his hand°
to°
the ark:°
and there°
he died°°
before°
Elohim.° |

And David was dispirited, because the Lord [had] made a breach on Uzzah{gr.Oza}: and he called that place the Breach of Uzzah{gr.Oza} until this day. |

And David°
was displeased,°°
because°
Yahweh°
had made°°
a breach°
upon Uzza:°
wherefore that°
place°
is called°°
Perezuzza°
to°
this°
day.° |

And David feared God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God in to myself? |

And David°
was afraid°°°
of Elohim°
that°
day,°
saying,°°
How°
shall I bring°°°
the ark°
of Elohim°
[home] to°
me? |

13:13
So David brought not the ark home to himself into the city of David, but he turned it aside into the house of Obededom{gr.Abeddara} the Gethite. |

So David°
brought°°
not°°
the ark°
[home] to°
himself to°
the city°
of David,°
but carried it aside°°
into°
the house°
of Obededom°
the Gittite.° |
|
13:14
And the ark of God abode in the house of Obededom{gr.Abeddara} three months: and God blessed Obededom{gr.Abeddara} and all that he had. |

And the ark°
of Elohim°
remained°°
with°
the family°
of Obededom°
in his house°
three°
months.°
And Yahweh°
blessed°°°
the house°
of Obededom,°
and all°
that°
he had. |
