Zechariah 12

1 Jerusalem a cup of trembling to herself, 3 and a burdensome stone to her adversaries. 6 The victorious restoring of Judah. 9 The repentance of Jerusalem.

 12:1 The burden 4853b of the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 concerning 5921 Israel 3478. ¶ [Thus] declares 5002 the LORD 3068 who stretches 5186 out the heavens 8064, lays 3245 the foundation 3245 of the earth 776, and forms 3335 the spirit 7307 of man 120 within 7130 him,

 12:2 “Behold 2009, I am going to make 7760 Jerusalem 3389 a cup 5592a that causes reeling 7478 to all 3605 the peoples 5971a around 5439; and when the siege 4692 is against 5921 Jerusalem 3389, it will also 1571 be against 5921 Judah 3063.

 12:3 “It will come 1961 about in that day 3117 that I will make 7760 Jerusalem 3389 a heavy 4614 stone 68 for all 3605 the peoples 5971a; all 3605 who lift 6006 it will be severely 8295 injured 8295. And all 3605 the nations 1471 of the earth 776 will be gathered 622 against 5921 it.

 12:4 “In that day 3117,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068, “I will strike 5221 every 3605 horse 5483b with bewilderment 8541 and his rider 7392 with madness 7697. But I will watch 6491b 5869 over 5921 the house 1004 of Judah 3063, while I strike 5221 every 3605 horse 5483b of the peoples 5971a with blindness 5788a.

 12:5 “Then the clans 441b of Judah 3063 will say 559 in their hearts 3820, ‘A strong 556 support 556 for us are the inhabitants 3427 of Jerusalem 3389 through the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, their God 430.’

 12:6 ¶ “In that day 3117 I will make 7760 the clans 441b of Judah 3063 like a firepot 3595 among pieces of wood 6086 and a flaming 784 torch 3940 among sheaves 5995, so they will consume 398 on the right 3225 hand 3225 and on the left 8040 all 3605 the surrounding 5439 peoples 5971a, while the inhabitants 3427 of Jerusalem 3389 again 5750 dwell 3427 on their own sites 8478 in Jerusalem 3389.

 12:7 “The LORD 3068 also will save 3467 the tents 168 of Judah 3063 first 7223, so 4616 that the glory 8597 of the house 1004 of David 1732 and the glory 8597 of the inhabitants 3427 of Jerusalem 3389 will not be magnified 1431 above 5921 Judah 3063.

 12:8 “In that day 3117 the LORD 3068 will defend 1598 the inhabitants 3427 of Jerusalem 3389, and the one who is feeble 3782 among them in that day 3117 will be like David 1732, and the house 1004 of David 1732 [will be] like God 430, like the angel 4397 of the LORD 3068 before 6440 them.

 12:9 “And in that day 3117 I will set 1245 about 1245 to destroy 8045 all 3605 the nations 1471 that come 935 against 5921 Jerusalem 3389.

 12:10 ¶ “I will pour 8210 out on the house 1004 of David 1732 and on the inhabitants 3427 of Jerusalem 3389, the Spirit 7307 of grace 2580 and of supplication 8469, so that they will look 5027 on Me whom 834 they have pierced 1856; and they will mourn 5594 for Him, as one mourns 5594 for an only 3173 son 3173, and they will weep 4843 bitterly 4843 over 5921 Him like the bitter 4843 weeping 4843 over 5921 a firstborn 1060.

 12:11 “In that day 3117 there will be great 1431 mourning 4553 in Jerusalem 3389, like the mourning 4553 of Hadadrimmon 1910 in the plain 1237 of Megiddo 4023b.

 12:12 “The land 776 will mourn 5594, every 4940 family 4940 by itself 905; the family 4940 of the house 1004 of David 1732 by itself 905 and their wives 802 by themselves 905; the family 4940 of the house 1004 of Nathan 5416 by itself 905 and their wives 802 by themselves 905;

 12:13 the family 4940 of the house 1004 of Levi 3878 by itself 905 and their wives 802 by themselves 905; the family 4940 of the Shimeites 8097 by itself 905 and their wives 802 by themselves 905;

 12:14 all 3605 the families 4940 that remain 7604, every 4940 family 4940 by itself 905 and their wives 802 by themselves 905.
