Zechariah 1
1 Zechariah exhorteth to repentance. 7 The vision of the horses. 12 At the prayer of the angel, comfortable promises are made to Jerusalem. 18 The vision of the four horns, and the four carpenters.
1:1
In the eighth 8066 month 2320 of the second 8147 year 8141 of Darius 1867, the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 to Zechariah 2148a the prophet 5030, the son 1121 of Berechiah 1296, the son 1121 of Iddo 5714 saying 559,

“The LORD 3068 was very 7110a angry 7107 with your fathers 1.
1:3
“Therefore say 559 to them, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, “Return 7725 to Me,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, “that I may return 7725 to you,” says 559 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635.

“Do not be like your fathers 1, to whom 834 the former 7223 prophets 5030 proclaimed 7121, saying 559, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, “Return 7725 now 4994 from your evil 7451a ways 1870 and from your evil 7451a deeds 4611.”’ But they did not listen 8085 or give 7181 heed 7181 to Me,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068.

“Your fathers 1, where 346 are they? And the prophets 5030, do they live 2421a forever 5769?

“But did not My words 1697 and My statutes 2706, which 834 I commanded 6680 My servants 5650 the prophets 5030, overtake 5381 your fathers 1? Then they repented 7725 and said 559, ‘As the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635 purposed 2161 to do 6213a to us in accordance with our ways 1870 and our deeds 4611, so 3651 He has dealt 6213a with us.’”’”

¶ On the twenty-fourth 6242 702 day 3117 of the eleventh 6249 6240 month 2320, which 1931 is the month 2320 Shebat 7627, in the second 8147 year 8141 of Darius 1867, the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 to Zechariah 2148a the prophet 5030, the son 1121 of Berechiah 1296, the son 1121 of Iddo 5714, as follows 559:

I saw 7200 at night 3915, and behold 2009, a man 376 was riding 7392 on a red 122 horse 5483b, and he was standing 5975 among 996 the myrtle 1918 trees 1918 which 834 were in the ravine 4699, with red 122, sorrel 8320 and white 3836 horses 5483b behind 310 him.

Then I said 559, “My lord 113, what 4100 are these 428?” And the angel 4397 who was speaking 1696 with me said 559 to me, “I will show 7200 you what 4100 these 428 are.”

And the man 376 who was standing 5975 among 996 the myrtle 1918 trees 1918 answered 6030a and said 559, “These 428 are those whom 834 the LORD 3068 has sent 7971 to patrol 1980 the earth 776.”
1:11
So they answered 6030a the angel 4397 of the LORD 3068 who was standing 5975 among 996 the myrtle 1918 trees 1918 and said 559, “We have patrolled 1980 the earth 776, and behold 2009, all 3605 the earth 776 is peaceful 3427 and quiet 8252.”
1:12
¶ Then the angel 4397 of the LORD 3068 said 559, “O LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, how 4970 long 5704 4970 will You have 7355 no 3808 compassion 7355 for Jerusalem 3389 and the cities 5892b of Judah 3063, with which 834 You have been 2194 indignant 2194 these 2088 seventy 7657 years 8141?”

The LORD 3068 answered 6030a the angel 4397 who was speaking 1696 with me with gracious 2896a words 1697, comforting 5150 words 1697.
1:14
So the angel 4397 who was speaking 1696 with me said 559 to me, “Proclaim 7121, saying 559, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, “I am exceedingly 1419 jealous 7065 for Jerusalem 3389 and Zion 6726.
1:15
“But I am very 1419 7110a angry 7107 with the nations 1471 who are at ease 7600; for while I was only a little 4592 angry 7107, they furthered 5826 the disaster 7463a.”
1:16
‘Therefore 3651 thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068, “I will return 7725 to Jerusalem 3389 with compassion 7356; My house 1004 will be built 1129 in it,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, “and a measuring 6957b line 6957b will be stretched 5186 over 5921 Jerusalem 3389.”’

“Again 5750, proclaim 7121, saying 559, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, “My cities 5892b will again 5750 overflow 6327b with prosperity 2896b, and the LORD 3068 will again 5750 comfort 5162 Zion 6726 and again 5750 choose 977 Jerusalem 3389.”’”
1:18
¶ Then I lifted 5375 up my eyes 5869 and looked 7200, and behold 2009, [there were] four 702 horns 7161.
1:19
So I said 559 to the angel 4397 who was speaking 1696 with me, “What 4100 are these 428?” And he answered 559 me, “These 428 are the horns 7161 which 834 have scattered 2219 Judah 3063, Israel 3478 and Jerusalem 3389.”
1:20
Then the LORD 3068 showed 7200 me four 702 craftsmen 2796.
1:21
I said 559, “What 4100 are these 428 coming 935 to do 6213a?” And he said 559, “These 428 are the horns 7161 which 834 have scattered 2219 Judah 3063 so 6310 that no 3808 man 376 lifts 5375 up his head 7218; but these 428 [craftsmen] have come 935 to terrify 2729 them, to throw 3034 down 3034 the horns 7161 of the nations 1471 who have lifted 5375 up [their] horns 7161 against 413 the land 776 of Judah 3063 in order to scatter 2219 it.”
