Zechariah 10

1 God is to be sought unto, and not idols. 5 As he visited his flock for sin, so he will save and restore them.

 10:1 Ask 7592 rain 4306 from the LORD 3068 at the time 6256 of the spring 4456 rain 4456— The LORD 3068 who makes 6213a the storm 2385 clouds 2385; And He will give 5414 them showers 1653 of rain 1653, vegetation 6212a in the field 7704 to [each] man 376.

 10:2 For the teraphim 8655 speak 1696 iniquity 205, And the diviners 7080 see 2372 lying 8267 visions 8267 And tell 1696 false 7723 dreams 2472; They comfort 5162 in vain 7723. Therefore 5921 3651 [the people] wander 5265 like 3644 sheep 6629, They are afflicted 6031a, because 3588 there 369 is no 369 shepherd 7462a.

 10:3 “My anger 639 is kindled 2734 against 5921 the shepherds 7462a, And I will punish 6485 the male 6260 goats 6260; For the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635 has visited 6485 His flock 5739, the house 1004 of Judah 3063, And will make 7760 them like His majestic 1935 horse 5483b in battle 4421.

 10:4 “From them will come 3318 the cornerstone 6438, From them the tent 3489 peg 3489, From them the bow 7198 of battle 4421, From them every 3605 ruler 5065, [all] of them together 3164a.

 10:5 “They will be as mighty 1368 men 1368, Treading 947 down 947 [the enemy] in the mire 2916 of the streets 2351 in battle 4421; And they will fight 3898a, for the LORD 3068 [will be] with them; And the riders 7392 on horses 5483b will be put 954 to shame 954.

 10:6 “I will strengthen 1396 the house 1004 of Judah 3063, And I will save 3467 the house 1004 of Joseph 3130, And I will bring 7725 them back 7725, Because 3588 I have 7355 had 7355 compassion 7355 on them; And they will be as though 3512c I had not rejected 2186a them, For I am the LORD 3068 their God 430 and I will answer 6030a them.

 10:7 “Ephraim 669 will be like a mighty 1368 man 1368, And their heart 3820 will be glad 8055 as if 3644 [from] wine 3196; Indeed, their children 1121 will see 7200 [it] and be glad 8055, Their heart 3820 will rejoice 1523 in the LORD 3068.

 10:8 “I will whistle 8319 for them to gather 6908 them together, For I have redeemed 6299 them; And they will be as numerous 7235a as they were before.

 10:9 “When I scatter 2232 them among the peoples 5971a, They will remember 2142 Me in far 4801 countries 4801, And they with their children 1121 will live 2421a and come 7725 back 7725.

 10:10 “I will bring 7725 them back 7725 from the land 776 of Egypt 4714 And gather 6908 them from Assyria 804b; And I will bring 935 them into the land 776 of Gilead 1568 and Lebanon 3844 Until no 3808 [room] can be found 4672 for them.

 10:11 “And they will pass 5674a through the sea 3220 [of] distress 6869a And He will strike 5221 the waves 1530 in the sea 3220, So that all 3605 the depths 4688 of the Nile 2975 will dry 3001 up; And the pride 1347b of Assyria 804b will be brought 3381 down 3381 And the scepter 7626 of Egypt 4714 will depart 5493.

 10:12 “And I will strengthen 1396 them in the LORD 3068, And in His name 8034 they will walk 1980,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068.
