Zechariah 2

1 God, in the care of Jerusalem, sendeth to measure it. 6 The redemption of Zion. 10 The promise of God's presence.

 2:1 Then I lifted 5375 up my eyes 5869 and looked 7200, and behold 2009, [there was] a man 376 with a measuring 4060a line 2256a in his hand 3027.

 2:2 So I said 559, “Where 575 are you going 1980?” And he said 559 to me, “To measure 4058 Jerusalem 3389, to see 7200 how 4100 wide 7341 it is and how 4100 long 753 it is.”

 2:3 And behold 2009, the angel 4397 who was speaking 1696 with me was going 3318 out, and another 312 angel 4397 was coming 3318 out to meet 7122 him,

 2:4 and said 559 to him, “Run 7323, speak 1696 to that young 5288 man 5288, saying 559, ‘Jerusalem 3389 will be inhabited 3427 without 6519 walls 6519 because 4480 of the multitude 7230 of men 120 and cattle 929 within 8432 it.

 2:5 ‘For I,’ declares 5002 the LORD 3068, ‘will be a wall 2346 of fire 784 around 5439 her, and I will be the glory 3519b in her midst 8432.’”

 2:6 ¶ “Ho 1945 there 1945! Flee 5127 from the land 776 of the north 6828,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068, “for I have dispersed 6566 you as the four 702 winds 7307 of the heavens 8064,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068.

 2:7 “Ho 1945, Zion 6726! Escape 4422, you who are living 3427 with the daughter 1323 of Babylon 894.”

 2:8 For thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, “After 310 glory 3519b He has sent 7971 me against 413 the nations 1471 which plunder 7997b you, for he who touches 5060 you, touches 5060 the apple 892 of His eye 5869.

 2:9 “For behold 2009, I will wave 5130 My hand 3027 over 5921 them so that they will be plunder 7998 for their slaves 5647. Then you will know 3045 that the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635 has sent 7971 Me.

 2:10 “Sing 7442 for joy 7442 and be glad 8055, O daughter 1323 of Zion 6726; for behold 2009 I am coming 935 and I will dwell 7931 in your midst 8432,” declares 5002 the LORD 3068.

 2:11 “Many 7227a nations 1471 will join 3867a themselves to the LORD 3068 in that day 3117 and will become 1961 My people 5971a. Then I will dwell 7931 in your midst 8432, and you will know 3045 that the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635 has sent 7971 Me to you.

 2:12 “The LORD 3068 will possess 5157 Judah 3063 as His portion 2506 in the holy 6944 land 127, and will again 5750 choose 977 Jerusalem 3389.

 2:13 ¶ “Be silent 2013, all 3605 flesh 1320, before 4480 6440 the LORD 3068; for He is aroused 5782 from His holy 6944 habitation 4583.”
