 46:1 ¶ And Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° took his journey°° with all° that° he had, and came°° to Bæ´ër Ševa` בְּאֵר־שֶׁבַע,° and offered°° sacrifices° unto the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of his father° Yixçäk יִצחָק.°

 46:1 ¶ And Yisrael took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-Sheva, and offered sacrifices unto the Elohim of his father Yitzchaq.

 46:2 And ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° spake°° unto Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° in the visions° of the night,° and said,°° Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב,° Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב.° And he said,°° Here° [am] I.

 46:2 And Elohim spake unto Yisrael in the visions of the night, and said, Yaaqov, Yaaqov. And he said, Here [am] I.

 46:3 And he said,°° I° [am] ´Ël אֵל,° the ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of thy father:° fear°° not° to go down°°° into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם;° for° I will there° make°° of thee a great° nation:°

 46:3 And he said, I [am] El, the Elohim of thy father: fear not to go down into Mitzrayim; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

 46:4 I° will go down°° with° thee into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם;° and I° will also° surely°° bring thee up°° [again]: and Yôsëf יוֹסֵף° shall put°° his hand° upon° thine eyes.°

 46:4 I will go down with thee into Mitzrayim; and I will also surely bring thee up [again]: and Yosef shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

 46:5 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב° rose up°° from Bæ´ër Ševa` בְּאֵר־שֶׁבַע:°° and the sons° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° carried°°° Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב° their father,° and their little ones,° and their wives,° in the wagons° which° Par`ò פַּרעֹה° had sent°° to carry°° him.

 46:5 And Yaaqov rose up from Beer-Sheva: and the sons of Yisrael carried Yaaqov their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Paroh had sent to carry him.

 46:6 And they took°°° their cattle,° and their goods,° which° they had gotten°° in the land° of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן,° and came°° into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,° Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב,° and all° his seed° with° him:

 46:6 And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Kenaan, and came into Mitzrayim, Yaaqov, and all his seed with him:

 46:7 His sons,° and his sons'° sons° with° him, his daughters,° and his sons'° daughters,° and all° his seed° brought° he°° with° him into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם.°

 46:7 His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Mitzrayim.

 46:8 ¶ And these° [are] the names° of the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,° which came°° into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,° Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב° and his sons:° Ræ´ûvën רְאוּבֵן,° Ya`áköv's יַעֲקֹב° firstborn.°

 46:8 ¶ And these [are] the names of the children of Yisrael, which came into Mitzrayim, Yaaqov and his sons: Reuven, Yaaqov's firstborn.

 46:9 And the sons° of Ræ´ûvën רְאוּבֵן;° Çánöȼ חֲנֹך,° and Pallû´ פַּלּוּא,° and Çexrôn חֶצרוֹן,° and Carmî כַּרמִי.°

 46:9 And the sons of Reuven; Chanokh, and Pallu, and Chetzron, and Karmi.

 46:10 ¶ And the sons° of Šim`ôn שִׁמעוֹן;° Yæmû´ël יְמוּאֵל,° and Yämîn יָמִין,° and ´Öhađ אֹהַד,° and Yäȼîn יָכִין,° and Xöçar צֹחַר,° and Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל° the son° of a Cæna`ánîŧ כְּנַעֲנִית° woman.°

 46:10 ¶ And the sons of Shimon; Yemuel, and Yamin, and Ohad, and Yakhin, and Tzochar, and Shaul the son of a Kenaanith woman.

 46:11 ¶ And the sons° of Lëwî לֵוִי;° Gëršôn גֵּרשׁוֹן,° Kæhäŧ קְהָת,° and Mærärî מְרָרִי.°

 46:11 ¶ And the sons of Lewi; Gershon, Qehath, and Merari.

 46:12 ¶ And the sons° of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה;° `Ër עֵר,° and ´Ônän אוֹנָן,° and Šëlà שֵׁלָה,° and Perex פֶּרֶץ,° and Zeraç זֶרַח:° but `Ër עֵר° and ´Ônän אוֹנָן° died°° in the land° of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן.° And the sons° of Perex פֶּרֶץ° were° Çexrôn חֶצרוֹן° and Çämûl חָמוּל.°

 46:12 ¶ And the sons of Yehudah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Peretz, and Zerach: but Er and Onan died in the land of Kenaan. And the sons of Peretz were Chetzron and Chamul.

 46:13 ¶ And the sons° of Yiŝŝäjȼär יִשָּׂשכָר;° Tôlä` תּוֹלָע,° and Puwwà פֻּוָּה,° and Yôv יוֹב,° and Šimrôn שִׁמרוֹן.°

 46:13 ¶ And the sons of Yissaskhar; Tola, and Puwwah, and Yov, and Shimron.

 46:14 ¶ And the sons° of Zævûlûn זְבוּלוּן;° Seređ סֶרֶד,° and ´Êlön אֵילֹן,° and Yaçlæ´ël יַחלְאֵל.°

 46:14 ¶ And the sons of Zevulun; Sered, and Elon, and Yachleel.

 46:15 These° [be] the sons° of Lë´à לֵאָה,° which° she bare°° unto Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב° in Paddan ´Áräm פַּדַּן־אֲרָם,° with° his daughter° Dînà דִּינָה:° all° the souls° of his sons° and his daughters° [were] thirty° and three.°

 46:15 These [be] the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Yaaqov in Paddan-Aram, with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters [were] thirty and three.

 46:16 ¶ And the sons° of Gäđ גָּד;° Xifyôn צִפיוֹן,° and Çaggî חַגִּי,° Šûnî שׁוּנִי,° and ´Exbön אֶצבֹּן,° `Ërî עֵרִי,° and ´Árôđî אֲרוֹדִי,° and ´Ar´ëlî אַראֵלִי.°

 46:16 ¶ And the sons of Gad; Tzifyon, and Chaggi, Shuni, and Etzbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.

 46:17 ¶ And the sons° of ´Äšër אָשֵׁר;° Yimnà יִמנָה,° and Yišwà יִשׁוָה,° and Yišwî יִשׁוִי,° and Bærî`à בְּרִיעָה,° and Ŝeraç שֶׂרַח° their sister:° and the sons° of Bærî`à בְּרִיעָה;° Çever חֶבֶר,° and Malcî´ël מַלכִּיאֵל.°

 46:17 ¶ And the sons of Asher; Yimnah, and Yishwah, and Yishwi, and Beriah, and Serach their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Chever, and Malkiel.

 46:18 These° [are] the sons° of Zilpà זִלפָּה,° whom° Lävän לָבָן° gave°° to Lë´à לֵאָה° his daughter,° and° these° she bare°° unto Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב,° [even] sixteen°° souls.°

 46:18 These [are] the sons of Zilpah, whom Lavan gave to Leah his daughter, and these she bare unto Yaaqov, [even] sixteen souls.

 46:19 The sons° of Räçël רָחֵל° Ya`áköv's יַעֲקֹב° wife;° Yôsëf יוֹסֵף,° and Binyämîn בִּניָמִין.°

 46:19 The sons of Rachel Yaaqov's wife; Yosef, and Binyamin.

 46:20 ¶ And unto Yôsëf יוֹסֵף° in the land° of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם° were born°°° Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה° and ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם,° which° ´Äsnaŧ אָסנַת° the daughter° of Pôţî Pera` פּוֹטִי־פֶּרַע° priest° of ´Ôn אוֹן° bare°° unto him.

 46:20 ¶ And unto Yosef in the land of Mitzrayim were born Menashsheh and Efrayim, which Asnath the daughter of Poti-Pera priest of On bare unto him.

 46:21 ¶ And the sons° of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין° [were] Bela` בֶּלַע,° and Beȼer בֶּכֶר,° and ´Ašbël אַשׁבֵּל,° Gërä´ גֵּרָא,° and Na`ámän נַעֲמָן,° ´Ëçî אֵחִי,° and Rö´š רֹאשׁ,° Muppîm מֻפִּים,° and Çuppîm חֻפִּים,° and ´Ard אַרדּ.°

 46:21 ¶ And the sons of Binyamin [were] Bela, and Bekher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Echi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Chuppim, and Ard.

 46:22 These° [are] the sons° of Räçël רָחֵל,° which° were born°° to Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב:° all° the souls° [were] fourteen.°°

 46:22 These [are] the sons of Rachel, which were born to Yaaqov: all the souls [were] fourteen.

 46:23 ¶ And the sons° of Dän דָּן;° Çušîm חֻשִׁים.°

 46:23 ¶ And the sons of Dan; Chushim.

 46:24 ¶ And the sons° of Naftälî נַפתָּלִי;° Yaçxæ´ël יַחצְאֵל,° and Gûnî גּוּנִי,° and Yëxer יֵצֶר,° and Šillëm שִׁלֵּם.°

 46:24 ¶ And the sons of Naftali; Yachtzeel, and Guni, and Yetzer, and Shillem.

 46:25 These° [are] the sons° of Bilhà בִּלהָה,° which° Lävän לָבָן° gave°° unto Räçël רָחֵל° his daughter,° and she bare°°° these° unto Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב:° all° the souls° [were] seven.°

 46:25 These [are] the sons of Bilhah, which Lavan gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bare these unto Yaaqov: all the souls [were] seven.

 46:26 All° the souls° that came°° with Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב° into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,° which came out°° of his loins,° besides°° Ya`áköv's יַעֲקֹב° sons'° wives,° all° the souls° [were] threescore° and six;°

 46:26 All the souls that came with Yaaqov into Mitzrayim, which came out of his loins, besides Yaaqov's sons' wives, all the souls [were] threescore and six;

 46:27 And the sons° of Yôsëf יוֹסֵף,° which° were born°° him in Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,° [were] two° souls:° all° the souls° of the house° of Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב,° which came°° into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם,° [were] threescore and ten.°

 46:27 And the sons of Yosef, which were born him in Mitzrayim, [were] two souls: all the souls of the house of Yaaqov, which came into Mitzrayim, [were] threescore and ten.

 46:28 ¶ And he sent°° Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה° before° him° unto° Yôsëf יוֹסֵף,° to direct°° his face° unto Göšen גֹּשֶׁן;° and they came°° into the land° of Göšen גֹּשֶׁן.°

 46:28 ¶ And he sent Yehudah before him unto Yosef, to direct his face unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.

 46:29 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף° made ready°° his chariot,° and went up°° to meet°° Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° his father,° to Göšen גֹּשֶׁן,° and presented°° himself° unto° him; and he fell°° on° his neck,° and wept°° on° his neck° a good while.°

 46:29 And Yosef made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Yisrael his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.

 46:30 And Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° said°° unto° Yôsëf יוֹסֵף,° Now° let me die,°° since° I have seen°°° thy face,° because° thou [art] yet° alive.°

 46:30 And Yisrael said unto Yosef, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou [art] yet alive.

 46:31 And Yôsëf יוֹסֵף° said°° unto° his brethren,° and unto° his father's° house,° I will go up,°° and shew°° Par`ò פַּרעֹה,° and say°° unto° him, My brethren,° and my father's° house,° which° [were] in the land° of Cænä`an כְּנָעַן,° are come°° unto° me;

 46:31 And Yosef said unto his brethren, and unto his father's house, I will go up, and shew Paroh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father's house, which [were] in the land of Kenaan, are come unto me;

 46:32 And the men°° [are] shepherds,°°° for° their trade° hath been° to feed cattle;° and they have brought°° their flocks,° and their herds,° and all° that° they have.

 46:32 And the men [are] shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.

 46:33 And it shall come to pass,° when° Par`ò פַּרעֹה° shall call°° you, and shall say,°° What° [is] your occupation?°

 46:33 And it shall come to pass, when Paroh shall call you, and shall say, What [is] your occupation?

 46:34 That ye shall say,°° Thy servants'° trade°° hath been° about cattle° from our youth°° even until° now,° both° we,° [and] also° our fathers:° that° ye may dwell°° in the land° of Göšen גֹּשֶׁן;° for° every° shepherd°°° [is] an abomination° unto the Mixrîm מִצרִים.°

 46:34 That ye shall say, Thy servants' trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, [and] also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd [is] an abomination unto the Mitzrim.
