And Avram went up out of Mitzrayim, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. |

[was] very°
rich°°°
in cattle,°
in silver,°
and in gold.° |

And Avram [was] very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. |

on his journeys°
from the south°°

Bêŧ ´Ël
בֵּית־אֵל,°
unto°
the place°
where°°
his tent°
had been°°
at the beginning,°
between°
Bêŧ ´Ël
בֵּית־אֵל°
and
`Ay
עַי;° |

And he went on his journeys from the south even to Beth-El, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beth-El and Ay; |

of the altar,°
which°
he had made°°
there°
at the first:°
and there°

on the name°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.° |

Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Avram called on the name of Yahweh. |

And

which went°°

´Avräm
אַברָם,°
had°
flocks,°
and herds,°
and tents.° |

13:5 ¶
And Lot also, which went with Avram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. |

13:6
And the land°
was not°
able to bear°°
them, that they might dwell°°
together:°
for°
their substance°
was°
great,°
so that they could°°
not°
dwell°°
together.° |

13:6
And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. |
|
13:7
And there was°
a strife°
between°
the herdmen°°
of
´Avräm's
אַברָם°
cattle°
and the herdmen°°
of
Lôţ's
לוֹט°
cattle:°
and the
Cæna`ánî
כְּנַעֲנִי°
and the
Pærizzî
פְּרִזִּי°
dwelled°°
then°
in the land.° |

And there was a strife between the herdmen of Avram's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle: and the Kenaani and the Perizzi dwelled then in the land. |

And

unto°
Lôţ
לוֹט,°
Let there be°°
no°
strife,°
I pray thee,°
between°
me and thee, and between°
my herdmen°°
and thy herdmen;°°
for°
we°°
[be] brethren.° |

And Avram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we [be] brethren. |

[Is] not°
the whole°
land°
before°
thee?°
separate thyself,°°
I pray thee,°
from°°
me: if°
[thou wilt take] the left hand,°
then I will go to the right;°°
or if°
[thou depart] to the right hand,°
then I will go to the left.°° |

[Is] not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if [thou wilt take] the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if [thou depart] to the right hand, then I will go to the left. |

the plain°

Yardën
יַרדֵּן,°
that°
it [was] well watered°
every where,°
before°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
destroyed°°°
Sæđöm
סְדֹם°
and
`Ámörà
עֲמֹרָה,°
[even] as the garden°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
like the land°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,°
as thou comest°°
unto
Xö`ar
צֹעַר.° |

And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Yarden, that it [was] well watered every where, before Yahweh destroyed Sedom and Amorah, [even] as the garden of Yahweh, like the land of Mitzrayim, as thou comest unto Tzoar. |

and

journeyed°°
east:°°
and they separated themselves°°
the one°
from°°
the other.° |

Then Lot chose him all the plain of Yarden; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. |

dwelled°°
in the land°
of
Cænä`an
כְּנָעַן,°
and
Lôţ
לוֹט°
dwelled°°
in the cities°
of the plain,°
and pitched [his] tent°°
toward°
Sæđöm
סְדֹם.° |

13:12
Avram dwelled in the land of Kenaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched [his] tent toward Sedom. |
|
13:13
But the men°°
of
Sæđöm
סְדֹם°
[were] wicked°
and sinners°
before
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
exceedingly.° |
|
13:13
But the men of Sedom [were] wicked and sinners before Yahweh exceedingly. |
|
13:14 ¶
And
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
said°°
unto°
´Avräm
אַברָם,°
after°
that°
Lôţ
לוֹט°
was separated°°
from°°
him, Lift up°°
now°
thine eyes,°
and look°°
from°
the place°
where°°
thou°
art northward,°
and southward,°
and eastward,°
and westward:° |

13:14 ¶
And Yahweh said unto Avram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: |

13:15
For°°
all°
the land°
which°
thou°
seest,°°
to thee will I give°
it,°°
and to thy seed°
for°
ever.°° |

13:15
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. |
|
13:16
And I will make°°°
thy seed°
as the dust°
of the earth:°
so that°
if°
a man°
can°°
number°°°
the dust°
of the earth,°
[then] shall thy seed°
also°
be numbered.°° |

And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, [then] shall thy seed also be numbered. |

13:17
Arise,°°
walk°°
through the land°
in the length°
of it and in the breadth°
of it; for°
I will give°°
it unto thee. |

Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. |

removed [his] tent,°°
and came°°
and dwelt°°
in the plain°
of
Mamrë´
מַמרֵא,°
which°
[is] in
Çevrôn
חֶברוֹן,°
and built°°
there°
an altar°
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.° |

Then Avram removed [his] tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which [is] in Chevron, and built there an altar unto Yahweh. |
