Deuteronomy 26

1 The confession of him that offereth the basket of firstfruits. 12 The prayer of him that giveth his third year's tithes. 16 The Covenant between God and the people.

 26:1 “Then it shall be, when 3588 you enter 935 the land 776 which 834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 gives 5414 you as an inheritance 5159, and you possess 3423 it and live 3427 in it,

 26:2 that you shall take 3947 some 4480 of the first 7225 of all 3605 the produce 6529 of the ground 127 which 834 you bring 935 in from your land 776 that the LORD 3068 your God 430 gives 5414 you, and you shall put 7760 [it] in a basket 2935 and go 1980 to the place 4725 where 834 8033 the LORD 3068 your God 430 chooses 977 to establish 7931 His name 8034.

 26:3 “You shall go 935 to the priest 3548 who 834 is in office at that time 3117 and say 559 to him, ‘I declare 5046 this day 3117 to the LORD 3068 my God 430 that I have entered 935 the land 776 which 834 the LORD 3068 swore 7650 to our fathers 1 to give 5414 us.’

 26:4 “Then the priest 3548 shall take 3947 the basket 2935 from your hand 3027 and set 5117 it down 5117 before 6440 the altar 4196 of the LORD 3068 your God 430.

 26:5 “You shall answer 6030a and say 559 before 6440 the LORD 3068 your God 430, ‘My father 1 was a wandering 6 Aramean 761, and he went 3381 down 3381 to Egypt 4714 and sojourned 1481a there 8033, few 4592 in number 4962; but there 8033 he became 1961 a great 1419, mighty 6099 and populous 7227a nation 1471.

 26:6 ‘And the Egyptians 4713 treated 7489a us harshly 7489a and afflicted 6031a us, and imposed 5414 hard 7186 labor 5656 on us.

 26:7 ‘Then we cried 6817 to the LORD 3068, the God 430 of our fathers 1, and the LORD 3068 heard 8085 our voice 6963 and saw 7200 our affliction 6040a and our toil 5999 and our oppression 3906;

 26:8 and the LORD 3068 brought 3318 us out of Egypt 4714 with a mighty 2389 hand 3027 and an outstretched 5186 arm 2220 and with great 1419 terror 4172 and with signs 226 and wonders 4159;

 26:9 and He has brought 935 us to this 2088 place 4725 and has given 5414 us this 2088 land 776, a land 776 flowing 2100 with milk 2461 and honey 1706.

 26:10 ‘Now 6258 behold 2009, I have brought 935 the first 7225 of the produce 6529 of the ground 127 which 834 You, O LORD 3068 have given 5414 me.’ And you shall set 5117 it down 5117 before 6440 the LORD 3068 your God 430, and worship 7812 before 6440 the LORD 3068 your God 430;

 26:11 and you and the Levite 3881 and the alien 1616 who 834 is among 7130 you shall rejoice 8055 in all 3605 the good 2896b which 834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 has given 5414 you and your household 1004.

 26:12 ¶ “When 3588 you have finished 3615 paying 6237 all 3605 the tithe 4643 of your increase 8393 in the third 7992 year 8141, the year 8141 of tithing 4643, then you shall give 5414 it to the Levite 3881, to the stranger 1616, to the orphan 3490 and to the widow 490, that they may eat 398 in your towns 8179 and be satisfied 7646.

 26:13 “You shall say 559 before 6440 the LORD 3068 your God 430, ‘I have removed 1197a the sacred 6944 [portion] from [my] house 1004, and also 1571 have given 5414 it to the Levite 3881 and the alien 1616, the orphan 3490 and the widow 490, according to all 3605 Your commandments 4687 which 834 You have commanded 6680 me; I have not transgressed 5674a or forgotten 7911 any 4480 of Your commandments 4687.

 26:14 ‘I have not eaten 398 of it while mourning 205, nor 3808 have I removed 1197a any 4480 of it while I was unclean 2931, nor 3808 offered 5414 any 4480 of it to the dead 4191. I have listened 8085 to the voice 6963 of the LORD 3068 my God 430; I have done 6213a according to all 3605 that You have commanded 6680 me.

 26:15 ‘Look 8259 down 8259 from Your holy 6944 habitation 4583, from heaven 8064, and bless 1288 Your people 5971a Israel 3478, and the ground 127 which 834 You have given 5414 us, a land 776 flowing 2100 with milk 2461 and honey 1706, as You swore 7650 to our fathers 1.’

 26:16 ¶ “This 2088 day 3117 the LORD 3068 your God 430 commands 6680 you to do 6213a these 428 statutes 2706 and ordinances 4941. You shall therefore be careful 8104 to do 6213a them with all 3605 your heart 3824 and with all 3605 your soul 5315.

 26:17 “You have today 3117 declared 559 the LORD 3068 to be your God 430, and that you would walk 1980 in His ways 1870 and keep 8104 His statutes 2706, His commandments 4687 and His ordinances 4941, and listen 8085 to His voice 6963.

 26:18 “The LORD 3068 has today 3117 declared 559 you to be His people 5971a, a treasured 5459 possession 5459, as He promised 1696 you, and that you should keep 8104 all 3605 His commandments 4687;

 26:19 and that He will set 5414 you high 5945a above 5921 all 3605 nations 1471 which 834 He has made 6213a, for praise 8416, fame 8034, and honor 8597; and that you shall be a consecrated 6918 people 5971a to the LORD 3068 your God 430, as He has spoken 1696.”
