Deuteronomy 16

1 The feast of the Passover, 9 of Weeks, 13 of Tabernacles. 16 Every male must offer, as he is able, at these three feasts. 18 Of judges and justice. 21 Groves and images are forbidden.

 16:1 “Observe 8104 the month 2320 of Abib 24 and celebrate 6213a the Passover 6453 to the LORD 3068 your God 430, for in the month 2320 of Abib 24 the LORD 3068 your God 430 brought 3318 you out of Egypt 4714 by night 3915.

 16:2 “You shall sacrifice 2076 the Passover 6453 to the LORD 3068 your God 430 from the flock 6629 and the herd 1241, in the place 4725 where 834 8033 the LORD 3068 chooses 977 to establish 7931 His name 8034.

 16:3 “You shall not eat 398 leavened 2557 bread 2557 with it; seven 7651 days 3117 you shall eat 398 with it unleavened 4682 bread 4682, the bread 3899 of affliction 6040a (for you came 3318 out of the land 776 of Egypt 4714 in haste 2649), so 4616 that you may remember 2142 all 3605 the days 3117 of your life 2425b the day 3117 when you came 3318 out of the land 776 of Egypt 4714.

 16:4 “For seven 7651 days 3117 no 3808 leaven 7603 shall be seen 7200 with you in all 3605 your territory 1366, and none 3808 of the flesh 1320 which 834 you sacrifice 2076 on the evening 6153 of the first 7223 day 3117 shall remain 3885a overnight 3885a until morning 1242.

 16:5 “You are not allowed 3201 to sacrifice 2076 the Passover 6453 in any 259 of your towns 8179 which 834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 is giving 5414 you;

 16:6 but at the place 4725 where 834 8033 the LORD 3068 your God 430 chooses 977 to establish 7931 His name 8034, you shall sacrifice 2076 the Passover 6453 in the evening 6153 at sunset 8121 935, at the time 4150 that you came 3318 out of Egypt 4714.

 16:7 “You shall cook 1310 and eat 398 [it] in the place 4725 which 834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 chooses 977. In the morning 1242 you are to return 6437 1980 to your tents 168.

 16:8 “Six 8337a days 3117 you shall eat 398 unleavened 4682 bread 4682, and on the seventh 7637 day 3117 there shall be a solemn 6116 assembly 6116 to the LORD 3068 your God 430; you shall do 6213a no 3808 work 4399 [on it].

 16:9 ¶ “You shall count 5608 seven 7651 weeks 7620 for yourself; you shall begin 2490c to count 5608 seven 7651 weeks 7620 from the time you begin 2490c to put the sickle 2770 to the standing 7054 grain 7054.

 16:10 “Then you shall celebrate 6213a the Feast 2282 of Weeks 7620 to the LORD 3068 your God 430 with a tribute 4530 of a freewill 5071 offering 5071 of your hand 3027, which 834 you shall give 5414 just 3152c as the LORD 3068 your God 430 blesses 1288 you;

 16:11 and you shall rejoice 8055 before 6440 the LORD 3068 your God 430, you and your son 1121 and your daughter 1323 and your male 5650 and female 519 servants 5650 519 and the Levite 3881 who 834 is in your town 8179, and the stranger 1616 and the orphan 3490 and the widow 490 who 834 are in your midst 7130, in the place 4725 where 834 8033 the LORD 3068 your God 430 chooses 977 to establish 7931 His name 8034.

 16:12 “You shall remember 2142 that you were a slave 5650 in Egypt 4714, and you shall be careful 8104 to observe 6213a these 428 statutes 2706.

 16:13 ¶ “You shall celebrate 6213a the Feast 2282 of Booths 5521 seven 7651 days 3117 after you have gathered 622 in from your threshing 1637 floor 1637 and your wine 3342 vat 3342;

 16:14 and you shall rejoice 8055 in your feast 2282, you and your son 1121 and your daughter 1323 and your male 5650 and female 519 servants 5650 519 and the Levite 3881 and the stranger 1616 and the orphan 3490 and the widow 490 who 834 are in your towns 8179.

 16:15 “Seven 7651 days 3117 you shall celebrate 2287 a feast 2287 to the LORD 3068 your God 430 in the place 4725 which 834 the LORD 3068 chooses 977, because 3588 the LORD 3068 your God 430 will bless 1288 you in all 3605 your produce 8393 and in all 3605 the work 4639 of your hands 3027, so that you will be altogether 389 joyful 8056.

 16:16 ¶ “Three 7969 times 6471 in a year 8141 all 3605 your males 2138 shall appear 7200 before 6440 the LORD 3068 your God 430 in the place 4725 which 834 He chooses 977, at the Feast 2282 of Unleavened 4682 Bread 4682 and at the Feast 2282 of Weeks 7620 and at the Feast 2282 of Booths 5521, and they shall not appear 7200 before 6440 the LORD 3068 empty-handed 7387.

 16:17 “Every 376 man 376 shall give 4979 as he is able 3027, according to the blessing 1293 of the LORD 3068 your God 430 which 834 He has given 5414 you.

 16:18 ¶ “You shall appoint 5414 for yourself judges 8199 and officers 7860 in all 3605 your towns 8179 which 834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 is giving 5414 you, according to your tribes 7626, and they shall judge 8199 the people 5971a with righteous 6664 judgment 4941.

 16:19 “You shall not distort 5186 justice 4941; you shall not be partial 5234 6440, and you shall not take 3947 a bribe 7810, for a bribe 7810 blinds 5786 the eyes 5869 of the wise 2450 and perverts 5557 the words 1697 of the righteous 6662.

 16:20 “Justice 6664, [and only] justice 6664, you shall pursue 7291, that you may live 2421a and possess 3423 the land 776 which 834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 is giving 5414 you.

 16:21 ¶ “You shall not plant 5193 for yourself an Asherah 842 of any 3605 kind of tree 6086 beside 681a the altar 4196 of the LORD 3068 your God 430, which 834 you shall make 6213a for yourself.

 16:22 “You shall not set 6965 up for yourself a [sacred] pillar 4676 which 834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 hates 8130.
