Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Lewiyyim unto Elazar the priest, and unto Yehoshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Yisrael; |

And they spake°°

them at

שִׁילֹה°
in the land°
of
Cænä`an
כְּנָעַן,°
saying,°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
commanded°°
by the hand°
of
Möšè
מֹשֶׁה°
to give°°
us cities°
to dwell°
in,°°
with the suburbs°
thereof for our cattle.° |

And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Kenaan, saying, Yahweh commanded by the hand of Mosheh to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle. |

And the children°

unto the
Læwiyyim
לְוִיִּם°
out of their inheritance,°°
at°
the commandment°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°°
these°
cities°
and their suburbs.° |

And the children of Yisrael gave unto the Lewiyyim out of their inheritance, at the commandment of Yahweh, these cities and their suburbs. |

And the lot°
came out°°
for the families°
of the
Kæhäŧîm
קְהָתִים:°
and the children°
of
´Ahárön
אַהֲרֹן°
the priest,°
[which were] of°
the
Læwiyyim
לְוִיִּם,°
had°
by lot°
out of the tribe°°

יְהוּדָה,°
and out of the tribe°°

and out of the tribe°°

thirteen°°

And the lot came out for the families of the Qehathim: and the children of Aharon the priest, [which were] of the Lewiyyim, had by lot out of the tribe of Yehudah, and out of the tribe of Shimon, and out of the tribe of Binyamin, thirteen cities. |

And the children of Gershon [had] by lot out of the families of the tribe of Yissaskhar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naftali, and out of the half tribe of Menashsheh in Bashan, thirteen cities. |

cities°

their suburbs,°

And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anaq, which [city is] Chevron, in the hill [country] of Yehudah, with the suburbs thereof round about it. |

There failed not ought of any good thing which Yahweh had spoken unto the house of Yisrael; all came to pass. |
