Against Moav thus saith Yahweh Tzevaoth, the Elohim of Yisrael; Woe unto Nevo! for it is spoiled: Qiryathayim is confounded [and] taken: Misgav is confounded and dismayed. |

and let us cut it off°°

[There shall be] no more praise of Moav: in Cheshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from [being] a nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee. |

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty his vessels, and break their bottles. |

And Moav shall be ashamed of Kemosh, as the house of Yisrael was ashamed of Beth-El their confidence. |

The horn of Moav is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith Yahweh. |

[himself] against°

in his vomit,°

They that fled stood under the shadow of Cheshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Cheshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sichon, and shall devour the corner of Moav, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones. |

Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moav in the latter days, saith Yahweh. Thus far [is] the judgment of Moav. |
