Matthew 7

1 Christ ending his sermon in the mount, reproveth rash judgment, 6 forbiddeth to cast holy things to dogs, 7 exhorteth to prayer, 13 to enter in at the strait gate, 15 to beware of false prophets, 21 not to be hearers, but doers of the Word: 24 like houses builded on a rock, 26 and not on the sand.

 7:1 “Do not judge 2919 so 2443 that you will not be judged 2919.

 7:2 “For in the way 2917 you judge 2919, you will be judged 2919; and by your standard 3358 of measure 3354, it will be measured 3354 to you.

 7:3 “Why 5101 do you look 991 at the speck 2595 that is in your brother’s 80 eye 3788, but do not notice 2657 the log 1385 that is in your own eye 3788?

 7:4 “Or 2228 how 4459 can you say 3004 to your brother 80, ‘Let 863 me take 1544b the speck 2595 out of your eye 3788,’ and behold 2400, the log 1385 is in your own eye 3788?

 7:5 “You hypocrite 5273, first 4413 take 1544b the log 1385 out of your own eye 3788, and then 5119 you will see 1227 clearly 1227 to take 1544b the speck 2595 out of your brother’s 80 eye 3788.

 7:6 ¶ “Do not give 1325 what 3588 is holy 40 to dogs 2965, and do not throw 906 your pearls 3135 before 1715 swine 5519, or 3379 they will trample 2662 them under 2662 their feet 4228, and turn 4762 and tear 4486 you to pieces 4486.

 7:7 ¶ “Ask 154, and it will be given 1325 to you; seek 2212, and you will find 2147; knock 2925, and it will be opened 455 to you.

 7:8 “For everyone 3956 who asks 154 receives 2983, and he who seeks 2212 finds 2147, and to him who knocks 2925 it will be opened 455.

 7:9 “Or 2228 what 5101 man 444 is there among 1537 you who 3739, when 3739 his son 5207 asks 154 for a loaf 740, will give 1929 him a stone 3037?

 7:10 “Or 2228 if 2532 he asks 154 for a fish 2486, he will not give 1929 him a snake 3789, will he?

 7:11 “If 1487 you then 3767, being 1510 evil 4190, know 3609a how 3609a to give 1325 good 18 gifts 1390 to your children 5043, how 4214 much 4214 more 3123 will your Father 3962 who is in heaven 3772 give 1325 what is good 18 to those 3588 who ask 154 Him!

 7:12 ¶ “In everything 3956, therefore 3767, treat 4160 people 444 the same 3779 way 3779 you want 2309 them to treat 4160 you, for this 3778 is the Law 3551 and the Prophets 4396.

 7:13 ¶ “Enter 1525 through 1223 the narrow 4728 gate 4439; for the gate 4439 is wide 4116 and the way 3598 is broad 2149 that leads 520 to destruction 684, and there 1510 are many 4183 who enter 1525 through 1223 it.

 7:14 “For the gate 4439 is small 4728 and the way 3598 is narrow 2346 that leads 520 to life 2222, and there 1510 are few 3641 who find 2147 it.

 7:15 ¶ “Beware 4337 of the false 5578 prophets 5578, who 3748 come 2064 to you in sheep’s 4263b clothing 1742, but inwardly 2081 are ravenous 727 wolves 3074.

 7:16 “You will know 1921 them by their fruits 2590. Grapes 4718 are not gathered 4816 from thorn 173 [bushes] nor 2228 figs 4810 from thistles 5146, are they?

 7:17 “So 3779 every 3956 good 18 tree 1186 bears 4160 good 2570 fruit 2590, but the bad 4550 tree 1186 bears 4160 bad 4190 fruit 2590.

 7:18 “A good 18 tree 1186 cannot 1410 3756 produce 5342 bad 4190 fruit 2590, nor 3761 can a bad 4550 tree 1186 produce 5342 good 2570 fruit 2590.

 7:19 “Every 3956 tree 1186 that does not bear 4160 good 2570 fruit 2590 is cut 1581 down 1581 and thrown 906 into the fire 4442.

 7:20 “So 1065 then 686, you will know 1921 them by their fruits 2590.

 7:21 ¶ “Not everyone 3956 who says 3004 to Me, ‘Lord 2962, Lord 2962,’ will enter 1525 the kingdom 932 of heaven 3772, but he who does 4160 the will 2307 of My Father 3962 who is in heaven 3772 [will enter].

 7:22 “Many 4183 will say 3004 to Me on that day 2250, ‘Lord 2962, Lord 2962, did we not prophesy 4395 in Your name 3686, and in Your name 3686 cast 1544b out demons 1140, and in Your name 3686 perform 4160 many 4183 miracles 1411?’

 7:23 “And then 5119 I will declare 3670 to them, ‘I never 3763 knew 1097 you; DEPART 672 FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE 2038b LAWLESSNESS 458.’

 7:24 ¶ “Therefore 3767 everyone 3956 who 3748 hears 191 these 3778 words 3056 of Mine 1473 and acts 4160 on them, may be compared 3666 to a wise 5429 man 435 who 3748 built 3618 his house 3614 on the rock 4073.

 7:25 “And the rain 1028 fell 2597, and the floods 4215 came 2064, and the winds 417 blew 4154 and slammed 4363 against 4363 that house 3614; and [yet] it did not fall 4098, for it had been founded 2311 on the rock 4073.

 7:26 “Everyone 3956 who hears 191 these 3778 words 3056 of Mine 1473 and does not act 4160 on them, will be like 3666 a foolish 3474 man 435 who 3748 built 3618 his house 3614 on the sand 285.

 7:27 “The rain 1028 fell 4098, and the floods 4215 came 2064, and the winds 417 blew 4154 and slammed 4350 against 4350 that house 3614; and it fell 4098—and great 3173 was its fall 4431.”

 7:28 ¶ When 3753 Jesus 2424 had finished 5055 these 3778 words 3056, the crowds 3793 were amazed 1605 at His teaching 1322;

 7:29 for He was teaching 1321 them as [one] having 2192 authority 1849, and not as their scribes 1122.
