 5:1 shim'û-zot haKohániym w'haq'shiyvû Bëyt yis'räël ûvëyt haMelekh' haáziynû Kiy läkhem haMish'Päţ Kiy-fach héyiytem l'mitz'Päh w'reshet P'rûsäh al-Tävôr

וְשַׁחֲטָה שֵׂטִים הֶעְמִיקוּ וַאֲנִי מוּסָר לְכֻלָּם

 5:2 w'shacháţäh sëţiym he'miyqû waániy mûšär l'khuLäm

 5:2 And the revolters 7846 are profound 6009 z8689 to make slaughter, 7819 z8800 though I x589 [have been] a rebuker 4148 of them all. x3605

אֲנִי יָדַעְתִּי אֶפְרַיִם וְיִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא־נִכְחַד מִמֶּנִּי כִּי עַתָּה הִזְנֵיתָ אֶפְרַיִם נִטְמָא יִשְׂרָאֵל

לֹא יִתְּנוּ מַעַלְלֵיהֶם לָשׁוּב אֶל־אֱלֹהֵיהֶם כִּי רוּחַ זְנוּנִים בְּקִרְבָּם וְאֶת־יְהוָה לֹא יָדָעוּ

 5:4 lo yiT'nû maal'lëyhem läshûv el-élohëyhem Kiy rûªch z'nûniym B'qir'Bäm w'et-y'hwäh lo yädäû

וְעָנָה גְאוֹן־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּפָנָיו וְיִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֶפְרַיִם יִכָּשְׁלוּ בַּעֲוֹנָם כָּשַׁל גַּם־יְהוּדָה עִמָּם

 5:5 w'änäh g'ôn-yis'räël B'fänäyw w'yis'räël w'ef'rayim yiKäsh'lû Baáwonäm Käshal Gam-y'hûdäh iMäm

 5:5 And the pride 1347 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 doth testify 6030 z8804 to his face: 6440 therefore shall Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 and ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 fall 3782 z8735 in their iniquity; 5771 Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה 3063 also x1571 shall fall 3782 z8804 with x5973 them.

בְּצֹאנָם וּבִבְקָרָם יֵלְכוּ לְבַקֵּשׁ אֶת־יְהוָה וְלֹא יִמְצָאוּ חָלַץ מֵהֶם

 5:6 B'tzonäm ûviv'qäräm yël'khû l'vaQësh et-y'hwäh w'lo yim'tzäû chälatz mëhem

 5:6 They shall go y3212 z8799 x1980 with their flocks 6629 and with their herds 1241 to seek 1245 z8763 x853 Yähwè יָהוֶה; 3068 but they shall not x3808 find 4672 z8799 [him]; he hath withdrawn 2502 z8804 himself from x4480 them.

בַּיהוָה בָּגָדוּ כִּי־בָנִים זָרִים יָלָדוּ עַתָּה יֹאכְלֵם חֹדֶשׁ אֶת־חֶלְקֵיהֶם ס

 5:8 Blow 8628 z8798 ye the cornet 7782 in Giv`à גִּבעָה, 1390 [and] the trumpet 2689 in Rämà רָמָה: 7414 cry aloud 7321 z8685 [at] Bêŧ ´Äwen בֵּית־אָוֶן, 1007 after 310 thee, O Binyämîn בִּניָמִין. 1144

אֶפְרַיִם לְשַׁמָּה תִהְיֶה בְּיוֹם תּוֹכֵחָה בְּשִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הוֹדַעְתִּי נֶאֱמָנָה

הָיוּ שָׂרֵי יְהוּדָה כְּמַסִּיגֵי גְּבוּל עֲלֵיהֶם אֶשְׁפּוֹךְ כַּמַּיִם עֶבְרָתִי

 5:10 häyû särëy y'hûdäh K'maŠiygëy G'vûl álëyhem esh'Pôkh' KaMayim ev'rätiy

עָשׁוּק אֶפְרַיִם רְצוּץ מִשְׁפָּט כִּי הוֹאִיל הָלַךְ אַחֲרֵי־צָו

 5:11 äshûq ef'rayim r'tzûtz mish'Päţ Kiy hôiyl hälakh' achárëy-tzäw

וַאֲנִי כָעָשׁ לְאֶפְרָיִם וְכָרָקָב לְבֵית יְהוּדָה

 5:12 waániy khääsh l'ef'räyim w'khäräqäv l'vëyt y'hûdäh

 5:12 Therefore [will] I x589 [be] unto ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 as a moth, 6211 and to the house 1004 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה 3063 as rottenness. 7538

וַיַּרְא אֶפְרַיִם אֶת־חָלְיוֹ וִיהוּדָה אֶת־מְזֹרוֹ וַיֵּלֶךְ אֶפְרַיִם אֶל־אַשּׁוּר וַיִּשְׁלַח אֶל־מֶלֶךְ יָרֵב וְהוּא לֹא יוּכַל לִרְפֹּא לָכֶם וְלֹא־יִגְהֶה מִכֶּם מָזוֹר

 5:13 waYar' ef'rayim et-chäl'yô wiyhûdäh et-m'zorô waYëlekh' ef'rayim el-aSHûr waYish'lach el-melekh' yärëv w'hû lo yûkhal lir'Po läkhem w'lo-yig'heh miKem mäzôr

כִּי אָנֹכִי כַשַּׁחַל לְאֶפְרַיִם וְכַכְּפִיר לְבֵית יְהוּדָה אֲנִי אֲנִי אֶטְרֹף וְאֵלֵךְ אֶשָּׂא וְאֵין מַצִּיל

 5:14 Kiy änokhiy khaSHachal l'ef'rayim w'khaK'fiyr l'vëyt y'hûdäh ániy ániy eţ'rof w'ëlëkh' eSä w'ëyn maTZiyl

 5:14 For x3588 I x595 [will be] unto ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 as a lion, 7826 and as a young lion 3715 to the house 1004 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה: 3063 I, x589 [even] I, x589 will tear 2963 z8799 and go away; y3212 z8799 x1980 I will take away, 5375 z8799 and none x369 shall rescue 5337 z8688 [him].

אֵלֵךְ אָשׁוּבָה אֶל־מְקוֹמִי עַד אֲשֶׁר־יֶאְשְׁמוּ וּבִקְשׁוּ פָנָי בַּצַּר לָהֶם יְשַׁחֲרֻנְנִי

 5:15 ëlëkh' äshûväh el-m'qômiy ad ásher-ye'sh'mû ûviq'shû fänäy BaTZar lähem y'shachárun'niy

 5:15 ¶ I will go y3212 z8799 x1980 [and] return 7725 z8799 to x413 my place, 4725 till x5704 x834 they acknowledge their offence, 816 z8799 and seek 1245 z8765 my face: 6440 in their affliction 6862 they will seek me early. 7836 z8762
