אֶפְרַיִם רֹעֶה רוּחַ וְרֹדֵף קָדִים כָּל־הַיּוֹם כָּזָב וָשֹׁד יַרְבֶּה וּבְרִית עִם־אַשּׁוּר יִכְרֹתוּ וְשֶׁמֶן לְמִצְרַיִם יוּבָל

 12:1 ef'rayim roeh rûªch w'rodëf qädiym Käl-haYôm Käzäv wäshod yar'Beh ûv'riyt im-aSHûr yikh'rotû w'shemen l'mitz'rayim yûväl

 12:1 ¶ ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 feedeth 7462 z8802 on wind, 7307 and followeth y7291 z8802 after x7291 the east wind: 6921 he daily 3117 x3605 increaseth 7235 z8686 lies 3577 and desolation; 7701 and they do make 3772 z8799 a covenant 1285 with x5973 the ´Aššûrîm אַשּׁוּרִים, 804 and oil 8081 is carried 2986 z8714 into Mixrayim מִצרַיִם. 4714

וְרִיב לַיהוָה עִם־יְהוּדָה וְלִפְקֹד עַל־יַעֲקֹב כִּדְרָכָיו כְּמַעֲלָלָיו יָשִׁיב לוֹ

 12:2 w'riyv layhwäh im-y'hûdäh w'lif'qod al-yaáqov Kid'räkhäyw K'maáläläyw yäshiyv lô

 12:2 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath also a controversy 7379 with x5973 Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה, 3063 and will punish 6485 z8800 x5921 Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 according to his ways; 1870 according to his doings 4611 will he recompense 7725 z8686 him.

בַּבֶּטֶן עָקַב אֶת־אָחִיו וּבְאוֹנוֹ שָׂרָה אֶת־אֱלֹהִים

 12:3 BaBeţen äqav et-ächiyw ûv'ônô säräh et-élohiym

 12:3 ¶ He took his brother y251 by the heel 6117 z8804 x853 x251 in the womb, 990 and by his strength 202 he had power 8280 z8804 with x854 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים: 430

וָיָּשַׂר אֶל־מַלְאָךְ וַיֻּכָל בָּכָה וַיִּתְחַנֶּן־לוֹ בֵּית־אֵל יִמְצָאֶנּוּ וְשָׁם יְדַבֵּר עִמָּנוּ

וַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי הַצְּבָאוֹת יְהוָה זִכְרוֹ

 12:5 Even Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 Xævä´ôŧ צְבָאוֹת; 6635 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 [is] his memorial. 2143

וְאַתָּה בֵּאלֹהֶיךָ תָשׁוּב חֶסֶד וּמִשְׁפָּט שְׁמֹר וְקַוֵּה אֶל־אֱלֹהֶיךָ תָּמִיד

 12:6 w'aTäh Bëloheykhä täshûv chešed ûmish'Päţ sh'mor w'qaûëh el-éloheykhä Tämiyd

 12:6 Therefore turn 7725 z8799 thou x859 to thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים: 430 keep 8104 z8798 mercy 2617 and judgment, 4941 and wait 6960 z8761 on x413 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 continually. 8548

כְּנַעַן בְּיָדוֹ מֹאזְנֵי מִרְמָה לַעֲשֹׁק אָהֵב

 12:7 K'naan B'yädô moz'nëy mir'mäh laáshoq ähëv

 12:7 ¶ [He is] a merchant, 3667 the balances 3976 of deceit 4820 [are] in his hand: 3027 he loveth 157 z8804 to oppress. 6231 z8800

וַיֹּאמֶר אֶפְרַיִם אַךְ עָשַׁרְתִּי מָצָאתִי אוֹן לִי כָּל־יְגִיעַי לֹא יִמְצְאוּ־לִי עָוֹן אֲשֶׁר־חֵטְא

 12:8 waYomer ef'rayim akh' äshar'Tiy mätzätiy ôn liy Käl-y'giyay lo yim'tz'û-liy äwon ásher-chëţ'

 12:8 And ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 said, 559 z8799 Yet x389 I am become rich, 6238 z8804 I have found me out 4672 z8804 substance: 202 [in] all x3605 my labours 3018 they shall find 4672 z8799 none x3808 iniquity 5771 in me that x834 [were] sin. 2399

וְאָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם עֹד אוֹשִׁיבְךָ בָאֳהָלִים כִּימֵי מוֹעֵד

 12:9 w'änokhiy y'hwäh éloheykhä mëeretz mitz'räyim od ôshiyv'khä väóhäliym Kiymëy môëd

 12:9 And I x595 [that am] Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 from the land 776 x4480 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 will yet x5750 make thee to dwell 3427 z8686 in tabernacles, 168 as in the days 3117 of the solemn feast. 4150

וְדִבַּרְתִּי עַל־הַנְּבִיאִים וְאָנֹכִי חָזוֹן הִרְבֵּיתִי וּבְיַד הַנְּבִיאִים אֲדַמֶּה

 12:10 w'diBar'Tiy al-haN'viyiym w'änokhiy chäzôn hir'Bëytiy ûv'yad haN'viyiym ádaMeh

 12:10 I have also spoken 1696 z8765 by x5921 the prophets, 5030 and I x595 have multiplied 7235 z8689 visions, 2377 and used similitudes, 1819 z8762 by the ministry 3027 of the prophets. 5030

אִם־גִּלְעָד אָוֶן אַךְ־שָׁוְא הָיוּ בַּגִּלְגָּל שְׁוָרִים זִבֵּחוּ גַּם מִזְבְּחוֹתָם כְּגַלִּים עַל תַּלְמֵי שָׂדָי

 12:11 im-Gil'äd äwen akh'-shäw' häyû BaGil'Gäl sh'wäriym ziBëchû Gam miz'B'chôtäm K'gaLiym al Tal'mëy sädäy

 12:11 [Is there] iniquity 205 [in] Gil`äđ גִּלעָד? 1568 surely x389 they are x1961 vanity: 7723 they sacrifice 2076 z8765 bullocks 7794 in Gilgäl גִּלגָּל; 1537 yea, x1571 their altars 4196 [are] as heaps 1530 in x5921 the furrows 8525 of the fields. 7704

וַיִּבְרַח יַעֲקֹב שְׂדֵה אֲרָם וַיַּעֲבֹד יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאִשָּׁה וּבְאִשָּׁה שָׁמָר

 12:12 waYiv'rach yaáqov s'dëh áräm waYaávod yis'räël B'iSHäh ûv'iSHäh shämär

 12:12 And Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 fled 1272 z8799 into the country 7704 of ´Áräm אֲרָם, 758 and Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 served 5647 z8799 for a wife, 802 and for a wife 802 he kept 8104 z8804 [sheep].

וּבְנָבִיא הֶעֱלָה יְהוָה אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרָיִם וּבְנָבִיא נִשְׁמָר

 12:13 ûv'näviy heéläh y'hwäh et-yis'räël miMitz'räyim ûv'näviy nish'mär

 12:13 And by a prophet 5030 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 brought 5927 z8689 x853 Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 out of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם, 4714 x4480 and by a prophet 5030 was he preserved. 8104 z8738

הִכְעִיס אֶפְרַיִם תַּמְרוּרִים וְדָמָיו עָלָיו יִטּוֹשׁ וְחֶרְפָּתוֹ יָשִׁיב לוֹ אֲדֹנָיו

 12:14 hikh'iyš ef'rayim Tam'rûriym w'dämäyw äläyw yiŢôsh w'cher'Pätô yäshiyv lô ádonäyw

 12:14 ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם 669 provoked [him] to anger 3707 z8689 most bitterly: 8563 therefore shall he leave 5203 z8799 his blood 1818 upon x5921 him, and his reproach 2781 shall his ´Áđönîm אֲדֹנִים 113 return 7725 z8686 unto him.
