the gate,º
[even] the gateº
thatº
lookethºº
towardº
the east:º |

Afterward he brought me to the gate, [even] the gate that looketh toward the east: |

43:2
And, behold,º
the gloryº
of the
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִיםº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
cameºº
from the wayºº
of the east:º
and his voiceº
[was] like a noiseº
of manyº
waters:º
and the earthº
shinedºº
with his glory.ºº |
43:2
And, behold, the glory of the Elohim of Yisrael came from the way of the east: and his voice [was] like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory. |

And [it was] according to the appearanceº
of the visionº
whichº
I saw,ºº
[even] according to the visionº
thatº
I sawºº
when I cameºº
to destroyººº
the city:º
and the visionsº
[were] like the visionº
thatº
I sawºº
byº
the riverº
Cævär
כְּבָר;º
and I fellºº
uponº
my face.º |
43:3
And [it was] according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, [even] according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions [were] like the vision that I saw by the river Kevar; and I fell upon my face. |

And the gloryº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
cameºº
intoº
the houseº
by the wayº
of the gateº
whoseº
prospectº
[is] towardº
the east.º |
43:4
And the glory of Yahweh came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect [is] toward the east. |
|
43:5
So the spiritº
took me up,ºº
and broughtºº
me intoº
the innerº
court;º
and, behold,º
the gloryº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
filledºº
the house.º |
43:5
So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of Yahweh filled the house. |

And I heardºº
[him] speakingºº
untoº
me out of the house;ºº
and the manº
stoodººº
byº
me.º |
43:6
And I heard [him] speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me. |
|
43:7 ¶
And he saidºº
untoº
me, Sonº
of man,ºº
the placeº
of my throne,º
and the placeº
of the solesº
of my feet,º
whereºº
I will dwellºº
in the midstº
of the childrenº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
for ever,º
and my holyº
name,º
shall the houseº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
noº
moreº
defile,ºº
[neither] they,º
nor their kings,º
by their whoredom,º
nor by the carcasesº
of their kingsº
in their high places.º |
43:7 ¶
And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Yisrael for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Yisrael no more defile, [neither] they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places. |

of their thresholdº

my thresholds,º
and their postº
byº
my posts,º
and the wallº
betweenº
me and them, they have even defiledººº
my holyº
nameº
by their abominationsº
thatº
they have committed:ºº
wherefore I have consumedººº
them in mine anger.º |
43:8
In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger. |

Nowº
let them put awayººº
their whoredom,º
and the carcasesº
of their kings,º
farºº
fromº
me, and I will dwellºº
in the midstº
of them for ever.º |
43:9
Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever. |

43:10 ¶

of man,º
shewººº
the houseºº
to the houseº

Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,º
that they may be ashamedºº
of their iniquities:ºº
and let them measureººº
the pattern.º |
43:10 ¶
Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Yisrael, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. |

And ifº
they be ashamedºº
of allºº
thatº
they have done,ºº
shewºº
them the formº
of the house,º
and the fashionº
thereof, and the goings outº
thereof, and the comingsº
inº
thereof, and allº
the formsº
thereof, and allº
the ordinancesº
thereof, and allº
the formsº
thereof, and allº
the lawsº
thereof: and writeºº
[it] in their sight,º
that they may keepººº
the wholeº
formº
thereof, and allº
the ordinancesº
thereof, and doºº
them. |
43:11
And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write [it] in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them. |

Thisº
[is] the lawº
of the house;º
Uponº
the topº
of the mountainº
the wholeº
limitº
thereof round aboutº
[shall be] mostº
holy.º
Behold,º
thisº
[is] the lawº
of the house.º |
43:12
This [is] the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about [shall be] most holy. Behold, this [is] the law of the house. |

43:13 ¶
And theseº
[are] the measuresº
of the altarº
after the cubits:º
The cubitº
[is] a cubitº
and an hand breadth;º
even the bottomº
[shall be] a cubit,º
and the breadthº
a cubit,º
and the borderº
thereof byº
the edgeº
thereof round aboutº
[shall be] aº
span:º
and thisº
[shall be] the higher placeº
of the altar.º |
43:13 ¶
And these [are] the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit [is] a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom [shall be] a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about [shall be] a span: and this [shall be] the higher place of the altar. |

And from the bottomºº
[upon] the groundº
[even] toº
the lowerº
settleº
[shall be] twoº
cubits,º
and the breadthº
oneº
cubit;º
and from the lesserº
settleººº
[even] toº
the greaterº
settleº
[shall be] fourº
cubits,º
and the breadthº
[one] cubit.º |
43:14
And from the bottom [upon] the ground [even] to the lower settle [shall be] two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle [even] to the greater settle [shall be] four cubits, and the breadth [one] cubit. |

So the altarºº
[shall be] fourº
cubits;º
and from the altarºº
and upwardº
[shall be] fourº
horns.º |

So the altar [shall be] four cubits; and from the altar and upward [shall be] four horns. |

43:16
And the altarº
[shall be] twelveºº
[cubits] long,º
twelveºº
broad,º
squareºº
inº
the fourº
squaresº
thereof. |
43:16
And the altar [shall be] twelve [cubits] long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof. |
|
43:17
And the settleº
[shall be] fourteenºº
[cubits] longº
and fourteenºº
broadº
inº
the fourº
squaresº
thereof; and the borderº
aboutº
it [shall be] halfº
a cubit;º
and the bottomº
thereof [shall be] a cubitº
about;º
and his stairsº
shall lookºº
toward the east.º |
43:17
And the settle [shall be] fourteen [cubits] long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it [shall be] half a cubit; and the bottom thereof [shall be] a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east. |

And he saidºº

of man,º
thusº
saithºº

אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
Theseº
[are] the ordinancesº
of the altarº
in the dayº
when they shall makeºº
it, to offerºº
burnt offeringsº
thereon,º
and to sprinkleºº
bloodº
thereon.º |
43:18 ¶
And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith Adonay Yahweh; These [are] the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon. |

43:19
And thou shalt giveºº
toº
the priestsº
the
Læwiyyim
לְוִיִּםº
thatº
be of the seedºº
of
Xäðôk
צָדוֹק,º
which approachº
untoº
me, to ministerºº
unto me, saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
a youngºº
bullockº
for a sin offering.º |
43:19
And thou shalt give to the priests the Lewiyyim that be of the seed of Tzadoq, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith Adonay Yahweh, a young bullock for a sin offering. |

And thou shalt takeºº
of the bloodºº
thereof, and putºº
[it] onº
the fourº
hornsº
of it, and onº
the fourº
cornersº
of the settle,º
and uponº
the borderº
round about:º
thus shalt thou cleanseºº
and purgeºº
it. |
43:20
And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put [it] on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it. |

43:21
Thou shalt takeººº
the bullockº
also of the sin offering,º
and he shall burnºº
it in the appointed placeº
of the house,º
withoutºº
the sanctuary.º |
43:21
Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary. |

43:22
And on the secondº
dayº
thou shalt offerºº
a kidº
of the goatsº
without blemishº
for a sin offering;º
and they shall cleanseººº
the altar,º
asº
they did cleanseºº
[it] with the bullock.º |
43:22
And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse [it] with the bullock. |

When thou hast made an endºº
of cleansingººº
[it], thou shalt offerºº
a youngºº
bullockº
without blemish,º
and a ramº
out ofº
the flockº
without blemish.º |
43:23
When thou hast made an end of cleansing [it], thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish. |

43:24
And thou shalt offerºº
them beforeº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
and the priestsº
shall castºº
saltº
uponº
them, and they shall offer them upººº
[for] a burnt offeringº
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |
43:24
And thou shalt offer them before Yahweh, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up [for] a burnt offering unto Yahweh. |

43:25
Sevenº
daysº
shalt thou prepareºº
every dayº
a goatº
[for] a sin offering:º
they shall also prepareºº
a youngºº
bullock,º
and a ramº
out ofº
the flock,º
without blemish.º |
43:25
Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat [for] a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish. |

43:26
Sevenº
daysº
shall they purgeººº
the altarº
and purifyºº
it; and they shall consecrateºº
themselves.ººº |
43:26
Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves. |
|
43:27
And whenº
these daysº
are expired,ºº
it shall be,º
[that] upon the eighthº
day,º
and [so] forward,º
the priestsº
shall makeººº
your burnt offeringsº
uponº
the altar,º
and your peace offerings;º
and I will acceptºº
you, saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |
43:27
And when these days are expired, it shall be, [that] upon the eighth day, and [so] forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith Adonay Yahweh. |
