The word of Yahweh also came unto me, saying, |

Sonº
of man,º
thouº
dwellestºº
in the midstº
of a rebelliousº
house,º
whichº
have eyesº
to see,ºº
and seeºº
not;º
they have earsº
to hear,ºº
and hearºº
not:º
forº
theyº
[are] a rebelliousº
house.º |
12:2
Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they [are] a rebellious house. |

Therefore, thouº
sonº
of man,º
prepareºº
thee stuffº
for removing,º
and removeºº
by dayº
in their sight;º
and thou shalt removeºº
from thy placeºº
toº
anotherº
placeº
in their sight:º
it may beº
they will consider,ºº
thoughº
theyº
[be] a rebelliousº
house.º |
12:3
Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they [be] a rebellious house. |

Then shalt thou bring forthºº
thy stuffº
by dayº
in their sight,º
as stuffº
for removing:º
and thouº
shalt go forthºº
at evenº
in their sight,º
as they that go forthº
into captivity.º |
12:4
Then shalt thou bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and thou shalt go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity. |

Digºº
thou through the wallº
in their sight,º
and carry outºº
thereby. |
12:5
Dig thou through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby. |
|
12:6
In their sightº
shalt thou bearºº
[it] uponº
[thy] shoulders,º
[and] carry [it] forthºº
in the twilight:º
thou shalt coverºº
thy face,º
that thou seeºº
notºº
the ground:º
forº
I have setºº
thee [for] a signº
unto the houseº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל.º |
12:6
In their sight shalt thou bear [it] upon [thy] shoulders, [and] carry [it] forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the ground: for I have set thee [for] a sign unto the house of Yisrael. |

And I didºº
soº
asº
I was commanded:ºº
I brought forthºº
my stuffº
by day,º
as stuffº
for captivity,º
and in the evenº
I diggedºº
through the wallº
with mine hand;º
I brought [it] forthºº
in the twilight,º
[and] I bareºº
[it] uponº
[my] shoulderº
in their sight.º |
12:7
And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought [it] forth in the twilight, [and] I bare [it] upon [my] shoulder in their sight. |

And in the morningº

untoº
me, saying,ºº |
12:8 ¶
And in the morning came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying, |

Sonº
of man,º
hath notº
the houseº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,º
the rebelliousº
house,º
saidºº
untoº
thee, Whatº
doestºº
thou?º |
12:9
Son of man, hath not the house of Yisrael, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou? |

Sayºº
thou untoº
them, Thusº
saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
Thisº
burdenº
[concerneth] the princeº
in
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם,º
and allº
the houseº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
thatº
[are] amongº
them. |
12:10
Say thou unto them, Thus saith Adonay Yahweh; This burden [concerneth] the prince in Yerushalaim, and all the house of Yisrael that [are] among them. |

12:11
Say,ºº
Iº
[am] your sign:º
like asº
I have done,ºº
soº
shall it be doneºº
unto them: they shall removeº
[and] goººº
into captivity.º |
12:11
Say, I [am] your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove [and] go into captivity. |

And the princeº
thatº
[is] amongº
them shall bearºº
uponº
[his] shoulderº
in the twilight,º
and shall go forth:ºº
they shall digºº
through the wallº
to carry outºº
thereby: he shall coverºº
his face,º
thatºº
heº
seeºº
notºº
the groundº
with [his] eyes.º |
12:12
And the prince that [is] among them shall bear upon [his] shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with [his] eyes. |

12:13

My netº
also will I spreadºº
uponº
him, and he shall be takenºº
in my snare:º
and I will bringºº
him to
Bävel
בָּבֶלº
[to] the landº
of the
Ca$dîm
כַּשׂדִּים;º
yet shall he notº
seeºº
it, though he shall dieºº
there.º |
12:13
My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Bavel [to] the land of the Kasdim; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there. |

12:14
And I will scatterºº
toward everyº
windº
allº
thatº
[are] aboutº
him to helpº
him, and allº
his bands;º
and I will draw outºº
the swordº
afterº
them. |
12:14
And I will scatter toward every wind all that [are] about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them. |

12:15
And they shall knowºº
thatº
Iº
[am]
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
when I shall scatterºº
them among the nations,º
and disperseºº
them in the countries.º |
12:15
And they shall know that I [am] Yahweh, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries. |

12:16
But I will leaveºº
a fewº
menºº
ofº
them from the sword,ºº
from the famine,ºº
and from the pestilence;ºº
thatº
they may declareººº
allº
their abominationsº
among the heathenº
whitherºº
they come;ºº
and they shall knowºº
thatº
Iº
[am]
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |
12:16
But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I [am] Yahweh. |

Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, |

Sonº
of man,º
eatºº
thy breadº
with quaking,º
and drinkºº
thy waterº
with tremblingº
and with carefulness;º |
12:18
Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with carefulness; |

12:19
And sayºº
untoº
the peopleº
of the land,ºº
Thusº
saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
of the inhabitantsºº
of
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם,º
[and] ofº
the landºº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל;º
They shall eatºº
their breadº
with carefulness,º
and drinkºº
their waterº
with astonishment,º
thatº
her landº
may be desolateºº
from all that is therein,ºº
because of the violenceºº
of allº
them that dwellºº
therein. |
12:19
And say unto the people of the land, Thus saith Adonay Yahweh of the inhabitants of Yerushalaim, [and] of the land of Yisrael; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein. |

12:20
And the citiesº
that are inhabitedºº
shall be laid waste,ºº
and the landº
shall beº
desolate;º
and ye shall knowºº
thatº
Iº
[am]
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |
12:20
And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and ye shall know that I [am] Yahweh. |

And the wordº

Yähwè

me, saying,ºº |
12:21 ¶
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying, |

Sonº
of man,º
whatº
[is] thatº
proverbº
[that] ye have inº
the landº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,º
saying,ºº
The daysº
are prolonged,ºº
and everyº
visionº
faileth?ºº |
12:22
Son of man, what [is] that proverb [that] ye have in the land of Yisrael, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth? |

Tellººº
them therefore,º
Thusº
saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
I will make thisº
proverbºº
to cease,ºº
and they shall noº
moreº
use it as a proverbººº
in
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל;º
butºº
sayºº
untoº
them, The daysº
are at hand,ºº
and the effectº
of everyº
vision.º |
12:23
Tell them therefore, Thus saith Adonay Yahweh; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Yisrael; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. |

Forº
there shall beº
noº
moreº
anyº
vainº
visionº
nor flatteringº
divinationº
withinº
the houseº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל.º |
12:24
For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Yisrael. |

I will speak,ºº
and the wordºº
thatº
I shall speakºº
shall come to pass;ºº
it shall be noº
moreº
prolonged:ºº
forº
in your days,º
O rebelliousº
house,º

the word,º
and will performºº
it, saithºº

יָהוֶה.º |
12:25
For I [am] Yahweh: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith Adonay Yahweh. |

Again the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, |

Sonº
of man,º
behold,º
[they of] the houseº
of
Yi$rä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵלº
say,ºº
The visionº
thatº
heº
seethºº
[is] for manyº
daysº
[to come], and heº
prophesiethºº
of the timesº
[that are] farº
off.º |
12:27
Son of man, behold, [they of] the house of Yisrael say, The vision that he seeth [is] for many days [to come], and he prophesieth of the times [that are] far off. |

Thereforeº
sayºº
untoº
them, Thusº
saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
There shall noneºº
of my wordsº
be prolongedºº
any more,º
but the wordº
whichº
I have spokenºº
shall be done,ºº
saithºº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |
12:28
Therefore say unto them, Thus saith Adonay Yahweh; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith Adonay Yahweh. |
