The word of Yahweh came again unto me, saying, |

of man,º
prophesyºº
and say,ºº
Thusº

אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
Howlºº
ye, Woeº
worthº
the day!º |
30:2
Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith Adonay Yahweh; Howl ye, Woe worth the day! |

Forº
the dayº
[is] near,º
even the dayº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
[is] near,º
a cloudyº
day;º
it shall beº
the timeº
of the heathen.º |
30:3
For the day [is] near, even the day of Yahweh [is] near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen. |

30:4
And the swordº
shall comeºº
upon
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
and great painº
shall beº
in
Cûš
כּוּשׁ,º
when the slainº
shall fallºº
in
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
and they shall take awayºº
her multitude,º
and her foundationsº
shall be broken down.ºº |
30:4
And the sword shall come upon Mitzrayim, and great pain shall be in Kush, when the slain shall fall in Mitzrayim, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down. |

Kush, and Put, and Lud, and all the mingled people, and Kuv, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword. |

They also that upholdºº
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִםº
shall fall;ºº
and the prideº
of her powerº
shall come down:ºº
from the towerºº

shall they fallºº
in it by the sword,º
saithºº

אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |
30:6
Thus saith Yahweh; They also that uphold Mitzrayim shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Seweneh shall they fall in it by the sword, saith Adonay Yahweh. |

And they shall be desolateºº
in the midstº
of the countriesº
[that are] desolate,ºº
and her citiesº
shall beº
in the midstº
of the citiesº
[that are] wasted.ºº |
30:7
And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries [that are] desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities [that are] wasted. |

And they shall knowºº
thatº
Iº

Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
when I have setºº
a fireº
in
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
and [when] allº
her helpersºº
shall be destroyed.ºº |
30:8
And they shall know that I [am] Yahweh, when I have set a fire in Mitzrayim, and [when] all her helpers shall be destroyed. |

shall messengersº
go forthºº
fromºº
meº
in shipsº
to makeº
the carelessº

afraid,ºº
and great painº
shall comeº
upon them, as in the dayº
of
Mixrayim

for,º
lo,º
it cometh.ºº |
30:9
In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Kushim afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Mitzrayim: for, lo, it cometh. |

I will also makeº
the multitudeº

to ceaseºº
by the handº

kingº
of
Bävel
בָּבֶל.º |
30:10
Thus saith Adonay Yahweh; I will also make the multitude of Mitzrayim to cease by the hand of Nevukhadretztzar king of Bavel. |

Heº
and his peopleº
withº
him, the terribleº
of the nations,º
shall be broughtºº
to destroyºº
the land:º
and they shall drawºº
their swordsº
againstº
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
and fillººº
the landº
with the slain.º |
30:11
He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Mitzrayim, and fill the land with the slain. |

30:12
And I will makeºº
the riversº
dry,º
and sellººº
the landº
into the handº
of the wicked:º
and I will make the landº
waste,ººº
and all that is therein,º
by the handº
of strangers:ºº
Iº

יָהוֶהº
have spokenºº
[it]. |
30:12
And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I Yahweh have spoken [it]. |

Thusº

אֲדֹנָיº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
I will also destroyºº
the idols,º
and I will cause [their] imagesº
to ceaseºº
out of
Nöf
נֹף;ºº
and there shall beº
noº
moreº
a princeº
of the landºº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם:º
and I will putºº
a fearº
in the landº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.º |
30:13
Thus saith Adonay Yahweh; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause [their] images to cease out of Nof; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Mitzrayim: and I will put a fear in the land of Mitzrayim. |

And I will make

And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Tzoan, and will execute judgments in No. |

my furyº

the strengthº

Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם;º
and I will cut offººº
the multitudeº
of
Nö´
נֹא.º |
30:15
And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Mitzrayim; and I will cut off the multitude of No. |

And I will setºº

Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם:º
Sîn
סִיןº
shall have greatºº
pain,ºº
and

נֹאº
shall beº
rent asunder,ºº
and
Nöf
נֹףº
[shall have] distressesº
daily.º |
30:16
And I will set fire in Mitzrayim: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Nof [shall have] distresses daily. |

The young menº
of
´Äwen
אָוֶןºº
and of
Pî Bese±
פִּי־בֶּסֶתº
shall fallºº
by the sword:º
and theseº
[cities] shall goººº
into captivity.º |
30:17
The young men of Awen and of Pi-Beseth shall fall by the sword: and these [cities] shall go into captivity. |

shall be darkened,ºººº
when I shall breakºº
thereºº
the yokesº

Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם:º
and the pompº
of her strengthº
shall ceaseºº

as for her,º
a cloudº
shall coverºº
her, and her daughtersº
shall goººº
into captivity.º |
30:18
At Techafneches also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Mitzrayim: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity. |

Thus will I executeºº
judgmentsº

Mixrayim

and they shall knowºº
thatº
Iº

30:19
Thus will I execute judgments in Mitzrayim: and they shall know that I [am] Yahweh. |

30:20 ¶
And it came to passº
in the eleventhºº
year,º
in the firstº
[month], in the seventhº
[day] of the month,º
[that] the wordº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
cameº
untoº
me, saying,ºº |
30:20 ¶
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first [month], in the seventh [day] of the month, [that] the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying, |

Sonº
of man,º
I have brokenººº
the armº
of
Par`ò
פַּרעֹהº
kingº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם;º
and, lo,º
it shall notº
be bound upºº
to be healed,ººº
to putºº
a rollerº
to bindºº
it, to make it strongºº
to holdºº
the sword.º |
30:21
Son of man, I have broken the arm of Paroh king of Mitzrayim; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword. |

Thereforeº

Yähwè

Behold,º
I [am] againstº
Par`ò
פַּרעֹהº
kingº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,º
and will breakººº
his arms,ºº
the strong,º
and that which was broken;ºº
and I will causeº
the swordº
to fallºº
out of his hand.ºº |
30:22
Therefore thus saith Adonay Yahweh; Behold, I [am] against Paroh king of Mitzrayim, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand. |

And I will scatterººº
the
Mixrîm
מִצרִיםº
among the nations,º
and will disperseºº
them through the countries.º |
30:23
And I will scatter the Mitzrim among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. |

And I will strengthenººº
the armsº
of the kingº

בָּבֶל,º
and putººº
my swordº
in his hand:º
but I will breakººº
Par`ò's
פַּרעֹהº
arms,º
and he shall groanºº
beforeº
him with the groaningsº
of a deadly woundedº
[man]. |
30:24
And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Bavel, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Paroh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded [man]. |

But I will strengthenººº

shall fall down;ºº
and they shall knowºº
thatº

when I shall putºº
my swordº
into the handº
of the kingº

בָּבֶל,º
and he shall stretch it outººº
uponº
the landº
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.º |
30:25
But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Bavel, and the arms of Paroh shall fall down; and they shall know that I [am] Yahweh, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Bavel, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Mitzrayim. |

And I will scatterººº
the
Mixrîm

among the nations,º
and disperseºº
them among the countries;º
and they shall knowºº
thatº
Iº

And I will scatter the Mitzrim among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I [am] Yahweh. |
