Κἀγὼ ἐλθὼν πρὸς ὑμᾶς, ἀδελφοί, ἦλθον οὐ καθ' ὑπεροχὴν λόγου ἢ σοφίας καταγγέλλων ὑμῖν τὸ μυστήριον τοῦ θεοῦ,
And-I having-had-came toward to-ye, Brethrened, I-had-came not down to-a-holding-over of-a-forthee or of-a-wisdoming-unto messaging-down unto-ye to-the-one to-a-flexerlet of-the-one of-a-Deity,

 2:1 Κἀγὼ "And-I" ἐλθὼν "having-had-came" πρὸς "toward" ὑμᾶς, "to-ye," ἀδελφοί, "Brethrened," ἦλθον "I-had-came" οὐ "not" καθ' "down" ὑπεροχὴν "to-a-holding-over" λόγου "of-a-forthee" ἢ "or" σοφίας "of-a-wisdoming-unto" καταγγέλλων "messaging-down" ὑμῖν "unto-ye" τὸ "to-the-one" μυστήριον "to-a-flexerlet" τοῦ "of-the-one" θεοῦ, "of-a-Deity,"

οὐ γὰρ ἔκρινά τι εἰδέναι ἐν ὑμῖν εἰ μὴ Ἰησοῦν Χριστὸν καὶ τοῦτον ἐσταυρωμένον:
not therefore I-separated to-a-one to-have-had-come-to-see in unto-ye if lest to-an-Iesous to-Anointed and to-the-one-this to-having-had-come-to-be-en-staked;

κἀγὼ ἐν ἀσθενείᾳ καὶ ἐν φόβῳ καὶ ἐν τρόμῳ πολλῷ ἐγενόμην πρὸς ὑμᾶς,

ἵνα ἡ πίστις ὑμῶν μὴ ᾖ ἐν σοφίᾳ ἀνθρώπων ἀλλ' ἐν δυνάμει θεοῦ.

 2:5 ἵνα "so" ἡ "the-one" πίστις "a-trust" ὑμῶν "of-ye" μὴ "lest" ᾖ "it-might-be" ἐν "in" σοφίᾳ "unto-a-wisdoming-unto" ἀνθρώπων "of-mankinds," ἀλλ' "other" ἐν "in" δυνάμει "unto-an-ability" θεοῦ. "of-a-Deity."

Σοφίαν δὲ λαλοῦμεν ἐν τοῖς τελείοις, σοφίαν δὲ οὐ τοῦ αἰῶνος τούτου οὐδὲ τῶν ἀρχόντων τοῦ αἰῶνος τούτου τῶν καταργουμένων:

ἡμῖν γὰρ ἀπεκάλυψεν ὁ θεὸς διὰ τοῦ πνεύματος, τὸ γὰρ πνεῦμα πάντα ἐραυνᾷ, καὶ τὰ βάθη τοῦ θεοῦ.

τίς γὰρ οἶδεν ἀνθρώπων τὰ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου εἰ μὴ τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ ἀνθρώπου τὸ ἐν αὐτῷ; οὕτως καὶ τὰ τοῦ θεοῦ οὐδεὶς ἔγνωκεν εἰ μὴ τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ θεοῦ.

ἡμεῖς δὲ οὐ τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ κόσμου ἐλάβομεν ἀλλὰ τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἐκ τοῦ θεοῦ, ἵνα εἰδῶμεν τὰ ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ χαρισθέντα ἡμῖν:
