Luke 19
1 Of Zaccheus a publican. 11 The ten pieces of money. 28 Christ rideth into Jerusalem with triumph: 41 weepeth over it: 45 driveth the buyers and sellers out of the Temple: 47 teaching daily in it. The rulers would have destroyed him, but for fear of the people.
19:1
He entered 1525 Jericho 2410a and was passing 1330 through 1330.
19:2
And there was a man 435 called 2564 by the name 3686 of Zaccheus 2195; he was a chief 754 tax 754 collector 754 and he was rich 4145.
19:3
Zaccheus was trying 2212 to see 3708 who 5101 Jesus 2424 was, and was unable 3756 1410 because 575 of the crowd 3793, for he was small 3398 in stature 2244.
19:4
So 2532 he ran 4390 on ahead 1715 and climbed 305 up into a sycamore 4809 tree 4809 in order 2443 to see 3708 Him, for He was about 3195 to pass 1330 through 1330 that way.

When 5613 Jesus 2424 came 2064 to the place 5117, He looked 308 up and said 3004 to him, “Zaccheus 2195, hurry 4692 and come 2597 down 2597, for today 4594 I must 1163 stay 3306 at your house 3624.”

And he hurried 4692 and came 2597 down 2597 and received 5264 Him gladly 5463.

When they saw 3708 it, they all 3956 [began] to grumble 1234, saying 3004, “He has gone 1525 to be the guest 2647 of a man 435 who is a sinner 268.”

Zaccheus 2195 stopped 2476 and said 3004 to the Lord 2962, “Behold 2400, Lord 2962, half 2255 of my possessions 5225 I will give 1325 to the poor 4434, and if 1487 I have defrauded 4811 anyone 5100 of anything 5100, I will give 591 back 591 four 5073 times 5073 as much 5073.”

And Jesus 2424 said 3004 to him, “Today 4594 salvation 4991 has come 1096 to this 3778 house 3624, because 2530 he, too 2532, is a son 5207 of Abraham 11.

“For the Son 5207 of Man 444 has come 2064 to seek 2212 and to save 4982 that which was lost 622.”

¶ While they were listening 191 to these 3778 things 3778, Jesus went 4369 on to tell 3004 a parable 3850b, because 1223 He was near 1451 Jerusalem 2419, and they supposed 1380 that the kingdom 932 of God 2316 was going 3195 to appear 398 immediately 3916.

So 3767 He said 3004, “A nobleman 2104b 444 went 4198 to a distant 3117 country 5561 to receive 2983 a kingdom 932 for himself 1438, and [then] return 5290.

“And he called 2564 ten 1176 of his slaves 1401, and gave 1325 them ten 1176 minas 3414 and said 3004 to them, ‘Do 4231 business 4231 [with this] until 1722 3739 I come 2064 [back].’

“But his citizens 4177 hated 3404 him and sent 649 a delegation 4242 after 3694 him, saying 3004, ‘We do not want 2309 this 3778 man 3778 to reign 936 over 1909 us.’

“When 1722 he returned 1880, after receiving 2983 the kingdom 932, he ordered 3004 that these 3778 slaves 1401, to whom 3739 he had given 1325 the money 694, be called 5455 to him so 2443 that he might know 1097 what 5101 business 1281 they had done 1281.

“The first 4413 appeared 3854, saying 3004, ‘Master 2962, your mina 3414 has made 4333 ten 1176 minas 3414 more 4333.’

“And he said 3004 to him, ‘Well 1065 done 2095, good 18 slave 1401, because 3754 you have been 1096 faithful 4103 in a very 1646 little 1646 thing 1646, you are to be in authority 1849 over 1883 ten 1176 cities 4172.’

“The second 1208 came 2064, saying 3004, ‘Your mina 3414, master 2962, has made 4160 five 4002 minas 3414.’

“And he said 3004 to him also 2532, ‘And you are to be over 1883 five 4002 cities 4172.’

“Another 2087 came 2064, saying 3004, ‘Master 2962, here 2400 is your mina 3414, which 3739 I kept 2192 put 606 away 606 in a handkerchief 4676;

for I was afraid 5399 of you, because 3754 you are an exacting 840 man 444; you take 142 up what 3739 you did not lay 5087 down 5087 and reap 2325 what 3739 you did not sow 4687.’

“He *said 3004 to him, ‘By your own words 4750 I will judge 2919 you, you worthless 4190 slave 1401. Did you know 3609a that I am 1510 an exacting 840 man 444, taking 142 up what 3739 I did not lay 5087 down 5087 and reaping 2325 what 3739 I did not sow 4687?

‘Then 2532 why 1223 5101 did you not put 1325 my money 694 in the bank 5132, and having come 2064, I would have collected 4238 it with interest 5110?’
19:24
“Then 2532 he said 3004 to the bystanders 3936, ‘Take 142 the mina 3414 away 142 from him and give 1325 it to the one who has 2192 the ten 1176 minas 3414.’
19:25
“And they said 3004 to him, ‘Master 2962, he has 2192 ten 1176 minas 3414 [already].’
19:26
“I tell 3004 you that to everyone 3956 who has 2192, more shall be given 1325, but from the one who does not have 2192, even 2532 what 3739 he does have 2192 shall be taken 142 away 142.
19:27
“But these 3778 enemies 2190 of mine 1473, who did not want 2309 me to reign 936 over 1909 them, bring 71 them here 5602 and slay 2695 them in my presence 1715.”

¶ After He had said 3004 these 3778 things 3778, He was going 4198 on ahead 1715, going 4198 up to Jerusalem 2414.

¶ When 5613 He approached 1448 Bethphage 967 and Bethany 963, near 4314 the mount 3735 that is called 2564 Olivet 1638, He sent 649 two 1417 of the disciples 3101,

saying 3004, “Go 5217 into the village 2968 ahead 2713 of [you]; there 3739, as you enter 1531, you will find 2147 a colt 4454 tied 1210 on which 3739 no 3762 one 444 3762 yet 4455 has ever 4455 sat 2523; untie 3089 it and bring 71 it [here].
19:31
“If 1437 anyone 5100 asks 2065 you, ‘Why 1223 5101 are you untying 3089 it?’ you shall say 3004, ‘The Lord 2962 has 2192 need 5532 of it.’”

So 1161 those 3588 who were sent 649 went 565 away 565 and found 2147 it just 2531a as He had told 3004 them.

As they were untying 3089 the colt 4454, its owners 2962 said 3004 to them, “Why 5101 are you untying 3089 the colt 4454?”

They said 3004, “The Lord 2962 has 2192 need 5532 of it.”

They brought 71 it to Jesus 2424, and they threw 1977 their coats 2440 on the colt 4454 and put 1913 Jesus 2424 [on it].

As He was going 4198, they were spreading 5291 their coats 2440 on the road 3598.

shouting 3004: “BLESSED 2127 IS THE KING 935 WHO COMES 2064 IN THE NAME 3686 OF THE LORD 2962; Peace 1515 in heaven 3772 and glory 1391 in the highest 5310!”

Some 5100 of the Pharisees 5330 in the crowd 3793 said 3004 to Him, “Teacher 1320, rebuke 2008 Your disciples 3101.”

But Jesus answered 611, “I tell 3004 you, if 1437 these 3778 become 4623 silent 4623, the stones 3037 will cry 2896 out!”

¶ When 5613 He approached 1448 [Jerusalem], He saw 3708 the city 4172 and wept 2799 over 1909 it,

saying 3004, “If 1487 you had known 1097 in this 3778 day 2250, even 2532 you, the things which make for peace 1515! But now 3568 they have been hidden 2928 from your eyes 3788.

“For the days 2250 will come 2240 upon you when 2532 your enemies 2190 will throw 3925a up a barricade 5482 against you, and surround 4033 you and hem 4912 you in on every 3840 side 3840,

and they will level 1474 you to the ground 1474 and your children 5043 within 1722 you, and they will not leave 863 in you one stone 3037 upon another 3037, because 473 3739 you did not recognize 1097 the time 2540 of your visitation 1984.”

¶ Jesus entered 1525 the temple 2413 and began 757 to drive 1544b out those 3588 who were selling 4453,

saying 3004 to them, “It is written 1125, ‘AND MY HOUSE 3624 SHALL BE A HOUSE 3624 OF PRAYER 4335,’ but you have made 4160 it a ROBBERS’ 3027 DEN 4693.”

¶ And He was teaching 1321 daily 2596 2250 in the temple 2413; but the chief 749 priests 749 and the scribes 1122 and the leading 4413 men 4413 among the people 2992 were trying 2212 to destroy 622 Him,

and they could not find 2147 anything 5101 that they might do 4160, for all 537a the people 2992 were hanging 1582 on to every 191 word He said.
