 6:1 Now it came 1961 about in the four 702 hundred 3967 and eightieth 8084 year 8141 after the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 came 3318 out of the land 776 of Egypt 4714, in the fourth 7243 year 8141 of Solomon’s 8010 reign 4427a over 5921 Israel 3478, in the month 2320 of Ziv 2099 which 1931 is the second 8145 month 2320, that he began to build 1129 the house 1004 of the LORD 3068.

 6:2 As for the house 1004 which 834 King 4428 Solomon 8010 built 1129 for the LORD 3068, its length 753 [was] sixty 8346 cubits 520 and its width 7341 twenty 6242 [cubits] and its height 6967 thirty 7970 cubits 520.

 6:3 The porch 197 in front 6440 of the nave 1964 of the house 1004 [was] twenty 6242 cubits 520 in length 753, corresponding 5921 6440 to the width 7341 of the house 1004, [and] its depth 7341 along 5921 the front 6440 of the house 1004 [was] ten 6235 cubits 520.

 6:4 Also for the house 1004 he made 6213a windows 2474 with [artistic] frames 8261.

 6:5 Against 5921 the wall 7023 of the house 1004 he built 1129 stories 3330b encompassing 5439 the walls 7023 of the house 1004 around 5439 both the nave 1964 and the inner 1687 sanctuary 1687; thus he made 6213a side 6763 chambers 6763 all 5439 around 5439.

 6:6 The lowest 8481 story 3330b [was] five 2568 cubits 520 wide 7341, and the middle 8484 [was] six 8337a cubits 520 wide 7341, and the third 7992 [was] seven 7651 cubits 520 wide 7341; for on the outside 2351 he made 5414 offsets 4052 [in the wall] of the house 1004 all 5439 around 5439 in order that [the beams] would not be inserted 270 in the walls 7023 of the house 1004.

 6:7 ¶ The house 1004, while it was being built 1129, was built 1129 of stone 68 prepared 8003 at the quarry 4551a, and there was neither 3808 hammer 4717 nor 3808 axe 1631 nor 3808 any 3605 iron 1270 tool 3627 heard 8085 in the house 1004 while it was being built 1129.

 6:8 ¶ The doorway 6607 for the lowest 8484 side 6763 chamber 6763 [was] on the right 3233 side 3802 of the house 1004; and they would go 5927 up by winding 3883 stairs 3883 to the middle 8484 [story], and from the middle 8484 to the third 7992.

 6:9 So he built 1129 the house 1004 and finished 3615 it; and he covered 5603 the house 1004 with beams 1356b and planks 7713 of cedar 730.

 6:10 He also built 1129 the stories 3330b against 5921 the whole 3605 house 1004, each five 2568 cubits 520 high 6967; and they were fastened 270 to the house 1004 with timbers 6086 of cedar 730.

 6:11 ¶ Now the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 to Solomon 8010 saying 559,

 6:12 “[Concerning] this 2088 house 1004 which 834 you are building 1129, if 518 you will walk 1980 in My statutes 2708 and execute 6213a My ordinances 4941 and keep 8104 all 3605 My commandments 4687 by walking 1980 in them, then I will carry 6965 out My word 1697 with you which 834 I spoke 1696 to David 1732 your father 1.

 6:13 “I will dwell 7931 among 8432 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, and will not forsake 5800a My people 5971a Israel 3478.”

 6:14 ¶ So Solomon 8010 built 1129 the house 1004 and finished 3615 it.

 6:15 Then he built 1129 the walls 7023 of the house 1004 on the inside 4480 1004 with boards 6763 of cedar 730; from the floor 7172 of the house 1004 to the ceiling 7023 5604 he overlaid 6823 [the walls] on the inside 4480 1004 with wood 6086, and he overlaid 6823 the floor 7172 of the house 1004 with boards 6763 of cypress 1265.

 6:16 He built 1129 twenty 6242 cubits 520 on the rear 3411 part 3411 of the house 1004 with boards 6763 of cedar 730 from the floor 7172 to the ceiling 7023; he built 1129 [them] for it on the inside 4480 1004 as an inner 1687 sanctuary 1687, [even] as the most 6944 holy 6944 place 6944.

 6:17 The house 1004, that is, the nave 1964 in front 6440 of [the inner sanctuary], was forty 705 cubits 520 [long].

 6:18 There was cedar 730 on the house 1004 within 6441, carved 4734 [in the shape] of gourds 6497 and open 6362 flowers 6731b; all 3605 was cedar 730, there 369 was no 369 stone 68 seen 7200.

 6:19 Then he prepared 3559 an inner 1687 sanctuary 1687 within 8432 the house 1004 in order to place 5414 there 8033 the ark 727 of the covenant 1285 of the LORD 3068.

 6:20 The inner 1687 sanctuary 1687 [was] twenty 6242 cubits 520 in length 753, twenty 6242 cubits 520 in width 7341, and twenty 6242 cubits 520 in height 6967, and he overlaid 6823 it with pure 5462 gold 2091. He also overlaid 6823 the altar 4196 with cedar 730.

 6:21 So Solomon 8010 overlaid 6823 the inside 4480 6441 of the house 1004 with pure 5462 gold 2091. And he drew 5674a chains 7569 of gold 2091 across 5674a the front 6440 of the inner 1687 sanctuary 1687, and he overlaid 6823 it with gold 2091.

 6:22 He overlaid 6823 the whole 3605 house 1004 with gold 2091, until 5704 all 3605 the house 1004 was finished 8552. Also the whole 3605 altar 4196 which 834 was by the inner 1687 sanctuary 1687 he overlaid 6823 with gold 2091.

 6:23 ¶ Also in the inner 1687 sanctuary 1687 he made 6213a two 8147 cherubim 3742 of olive 8081 wood 6086, each ten 6235 cubits 520 high 6967.

 6:24 Five 2568 cubits 520 [was] the one 259 wing 3671 of the cherub 3742 and five 2568 cubits 520 the other 8145 wing 3671 of the cherub 3742; from the end 7098 of one wing 3671 to the end 7098 of the other wing 3671 [were] ten 6235 cubits 520.

 6:25 The other 8145 cherub 3742 [was] ten 6235 cubits 520; both 8147 the cherubim 3742 were of the same 259 measure 4060a and the same 259 form 7095.

 6:26 The height 6967 of the one 259 cherub 3742 [was] ten 6235 cubits 520, and so 3651 [was] the other 8145 cherub 3742.

 6:27 He placed 5414 the cherubim 3742 in the midst 8432 of the inner 6442 house 1004, and the wings 3671 of the cherubim 3742 were spread 6566 out, so that the wing 3671 of the one 259 was touching 5060 the [one] wall 7023, and the wing 3671 of the other 8145 cherub 3742 was touching 5060 the other 8145 wall 7023. So their wings 3671 were touching 5060 each 3671 other 3671 in the center 8432 of the house 1004.

 6:28 He also overlaid 6823 the cherubim 3742 with gold 2091.

 6:29 ¶ Then he carved 7049b all 3605 the walls 7023 of the house 1004 round 4524 about 4524 with carved 6603 engravings 6603 of cherubim 3742, palm 8561 trees 8561, and open 6362 flowers 6731b, inner 6441 and outer 2435 [sanctuaries].

 6:30 He overlaid 6823 the floor 7172 of the house 1004 with gold 2091, inner 6441 and outer 2435 [sanctuaries].

 6:31 ¶ For the entrance 6607 of the inner 1687 sanctuary 1687 he made 6213a doors 1817 of olive 8081 wood 6086, the lintel 352b [and] five-sided 2549 doorposts 4201.

 6:32 So [he made] two 8147 doors 1817 of olive 8081 wood 6086, and he carved 7049b on them carvings 4734 of cherubim 3742, palm 8561 trees 8561, and open 6362 flowers 6731b, and overlaid 6823 them with gold 2091; and he spread 7286 the gold 2091 on the cherubim 3742 and on the palm 8561 trees 8561.

 6:33 ¶ So 3651 also he made 6213a for the entrance 6607 of the nave 1964 four-sided 7243 doorposts 4201 of olive 8081 wood 6086

 6:34 and two 8147 doors 1817 of cypress 1265 wood 6086; the two 8147 leaves 6763 of the one 259 door 1817 turned 1550 on pivots 1550, and the two 8147 leaves 7050b of the other 8145 door 1817 turned 1550 on pivots 1550.

 6:35 He carved 7049b [on it] cherubim 3742, palm 8561 trees 8561, and open 6362 flowers 6731b; and he overlaid 6823 [them] with gold 2091 evenly 3474 applied 3474 on the engraved 2707 work.

 6:36 He built 1129 the inner 6442 court 2691a with three 7969 rows 2905 of cut 1496 stone 1496 and a row 2905 of cedar 730 beams 3772.

 6:37 ¶ In the fourth 7243 year 8141 the foundation 3245 of the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 was laid 3245, in the month 3391 of Ziv 2099.

 6:38 In the eleventh 259 6240 year 8141, in the month 3391 of Bul 945, which 1931 is the eighth 8066 month 2320, the house 1004 was finished 3615 throughout all 3605 its parts 1697 and according to all 3605 its plans 4941. So he was seven 7651 years 8141 in building 1129 it.
