Acts 3

1 Peter preaching to the people that came to see a lame man restored to his feet, 12 professeth the cure not to have been wrought by his or John's own power, or holiness, but by God, and his Son Jesus, and through faith in his name: 13 withal reprehending them for crucifying Jesus. 17 Which because they did it through ignorance, and that therefore were fulfilled God's determinate counsel, and the Scriptures: 19 he exhorteth them by repentance and faith to seek remission of their sins, and salvation in the same Jesus.

 3:1 Now 1161 Peter 4074 and John 2491 were going 305 up to the temple 2413 at the ninth 1729a [hour], the hour 5610 of prayer 4335.

 3:2 And a man 435 who had been 5225 lame 5560 from his mother’s 3384 womb 2836 was being carried 941 along, whom 3739 they used to set 5087 down 5087 every 2596 day 2250 at the gate 2374 of the temple 2413 which is called 3004 Beautiful 5611, in order to beg 154 alms 1654 of those 3588 who were entering 1531 the temple 2413.

 3:3 When he saw 3708 Peter 4074 and John 2491 about 3195 to go 1524 into the temple 2413, he [began] asking 2065 to receive 2983 alms 1654.

 3:4 But Peter 4074, along 4862 with John 2491, fixed 816 his gaze 816 on him and said 3004, “Look 991 at us!”

 3:5 And he [began] to give 1907 them his attention 1907, expecting 4328 to receive 2983 something 5100 from them.

 3:6 But Peter 4074 said 3004, “I do not possess 5225 silver 694 and gold 5553, but what 3739 I do have 2192 I give 1325 to you: In the name 3686 of Jesus 2424 Christ 5547 the Nazarene 3480—walk 4043!”

 3:7 And seizing 4084 him by the right 1188 hand 5495, he raised 1453 him up; and immediately 3916 his feet 939 and his ankles 4974 were strengthened 4732.

 3:8 With a leap 1814 he stood 2476 upright 2476 and [began] to walk 4043; and he entered 1525 the temple 2413 with them, walking 4043 and leaping 242 and praising 134 God 2316.

 3:9 And all 3956 the people 2992 saw 3708 him walking 4043 and praising 134 God 2316;

 3:10 and they were taking 1921 note 1921 of him as being 1510 the one who used to sit 2521 at the Beautiful 5611 Gate 4439 of the temple 2413 to [beg] alms 1654, and they were filled 4092a with wonder 2285 and amazement 1611 at what had happened 4819 to him.

 3:11 ¶ While he was clinging 2902 to Peter 4074 and John 2491, all 3956 the people 2992 ran 4936 together 4936 to them at the so-called 2564 portico 4745 of Solomon 4672, full 1569a of amazement 1569a.

 3:12 But when Peter 4074 saw 3708 [this], he replied 611 to the people 2992, “Men 435 of Israel 2475a, why 5101 are you amazed 2296 at this 3778, or 2228 why 5101 do you gaze 816 at us, as if 5613 by our own 2398 power 1411 or 2228 piety 2150 we had made 4160 him walk 4043?

 3:13 “The God 2316 of Abraham 11, Isaac 2464 and Jacob 2384, the God 2316 of our fathers 3962, has glorified 1392 His servant 3816 Jesus 2424, [the one] whom 3739 you delivered 3860 and disowned 720 in the presence 4383 of Pilate 4091, when he had decided 2919 to release 630 Him.

 3:14 “But you disowned 720 the Holy 40 and Righteous 1342 One 1342 and asked 154 for a murderer 5406 to be granted 5483 to you,

 3:15 but put 615 to death 615 the Prince 747 of life 2222, [the one] whom 3739 God 2316 raised 1453 from the dead 3498, [a fact] to which 3739 we are witnesses 3144.

 3:16 “And on the basis 1909 of faith 4102 in His name 3686, [it is] the name 3686 of Jesus which has strengthened 4732 this 3778 man whom 3739 you see 2334 and know 3609a; and the faith 4102 which [comes] through 1223 Him has given 1325 him this 3778 perfect 3647 health 3647 in the presence 561 of you all 3956.

 3:17 ¶ “And now 3568, brethren 80, I know 3609a that you acted 4238 in ignorance 52, just 5618 as your rulers 758 did also 2532.

 3:18 “But the things which 3739 God 2316 announced 4293 beforehand 4293 by the mouth 4750 of all 3956 the prophets 4396, that His Christ 5547 would suffer 3958, He has thus 3779 fulfilled 4137.

 3:19 “Therefore 3767 repent 3340 and return 1994, so 1519 that your sins 266 may be wiped 1813 away 1813, in order 3704 that times 2540 of refreshing 403 may come 2064 from the presence 4383 of the Lord 2962;

 3:20 and that He may send 649 Jesus 2424, the Christ 5547 appointed 4400 for you,

 3:21 whom 3739 heaven 3772 must 1163 receive 1209 until 891 [the] period 5550 of restoration 605 of all 3956 things 3956 about which 3739 God 2316 spoke 2980 by the mouth 4750 of His holy 40 prophets 4396 from ancient 165 time 165.

 3:22 “Moses 3475 said 3004, ‘THE LORD 2962 GOD 2316 WILL RAISE 450 UP FOR YOU A PROPHET 4396 LIKE 5613 ME FROM YOUR BRETHREN 80; TO HIM YOU SHALL GIVE 191 HEED 191 to everything 3956 He says 2980 to you.

 3:23 ‘And it will be that every 3956 soul 5590 that does not heed 191 that prophet 4396 shall be utterly 1842 destroyed 1842 from among 1537 the people 2992.’

 3:24 “And likewise 2532, all 3956 the prophets 4396 who 3745 have spoken 2980, from Samuel 4545 and [his] successors 2517 onward 2517, also 2532 announced 2605 these 3778 days 2250.

 3:25 “It is you who are the sons 5207 of the prophets 4396 and of the covenant 1242 which 3739 God 2316 made 1303 with your fathers 3962, saying 3004 to Abraham 11, ‘AND IN YOUR SEED 4690 ALL 3956 THE FAMILIES 3965 OF THE EARTH 1093 SHALL BE BLESSED 1757.’

 3:26 “For you first 4413, God 2316 raised 450 up His Servant 3816 and sent 649 Him to bless 2127 you by turning 654 every 1538 one 1538 [of you] from your wicked 4189 ways 4189.”
