And Yahweh said unto Mosheh, Go in unto Paroh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him: |

thou mayest tell°°
in the ears°
of thy son,°
and of thy son's°
son,°°
what things°
I have wrought°°
in
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,°
and my signs°
which°
I have done°°
among them; that ye may know°°
how that°
I°
[am]

יָהוֶה.° |

And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Mitzrayim, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I [am] Yahweh. |

him, Thus°

יָהוֶה°
´Élöhîm

`Ivrîm
עִברִים,°
How long°°
wilt thou refuse°°
to humble°°
thyself°
before°°
me? let my people°
go,°°
that they may serve°°
me. |

And Mosheh and Aharon came in unto Paroh, and said unto him, Thus saith Yahweh Elohim of the Ivrim, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me. |
|

Else,°
if°
thou°
refuse°
to let°
my people°
go,°°
behold,°
to morrow°
will I bring°°
the locusts°
into thy coast:° |
|

Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast: |
|
10:5
And they shall cover°°°
the face°
of the earth,°
that one cannot°
be able°°
to see°°°
the earth:°
and they shall eat°°°
the residue°
of that which is escaped,°
which remaineth°°
unto you from°
the hail,°
and shall eat°°°
every°
tree°
which groweth°°
for you out of°
the field:° |

And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field: |

And they shall fill°°
thy houses,°
and the houses°
of all°
thy servants,°
and the houses°
of all°
the
Mixrîm
מִצרִים;°
which°
neither°
thy fathers,°
nor thy fathers'°
fathers°
have seen,°°
since the day°°
that they were°
upon°
the earth°
unto°
this°
day.°
And he turned°°
himself, and went out°°
from°°

פַּרעֹה.° |

And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Mitzrim; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Paroh. |

And Paroh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve Yahweh their Elohim: knowest thou not yet that Mitzrayim is destroyed? |

were brought again°°

and he said°°
unto°
them, Go,°°°

[but] who°
[are] they that shall go?°° |

And Mosheh and Aharon were brought again unto Paroh: and he said unto them, Go, serve Yahweh your Elohim: [but] who [are] they that shall go? |
|
10:9
And

We will go°°°
with our young°
and with our old,°
with our sons°
and with our daughters,°
with our flocks°
and with our herds°
will we go;°°°
for°
we [must hold] a feast°
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.° |

And Mosheh said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we [must hold] a feast unto Yahweh. |

10:10
And he said°°

them, Let
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
be°
so°
with°
you, as°
I will let you go,°°
and your little ones:°
look°°
[to it]; for°
evil°
[is] before°°
you. |

And he said unto them, Let Yahweh be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look [to it]; for evil [is] before you. |

ye [that are] men,°
and serve°°°

יָהוֶה;°
for°
that ye°
did desire.°°
And they were driven out°°
from°°
Par`ò's
פַּרעֹה°
presence.° |

10:11
Not so: go now ye [that are] men, and serve Yahweh; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from Paroh's presence. |
|
10:12 ¶
And

unto°

מֹשֶׁה,°
Stretch out°°
thine hand°
over°
the land°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם°
for the locusts,°
that they may come up°°
upon°
the land°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,°
and eat°°°
every°
herb°
of the land,°
[even]°
all°
that°
the hail°
hath left.°° |

10:12 ¶
And Yahweh said unto Mosheh, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Mitzrayim for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Mitzrayim, and eat every herb of the land, [even] all that the hail hath left. |

wind°
upon the land°

the locusts.° |

And Mosheh stretched forth his rod over the land of Mitzrayim, and Yahweh brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all [that] night; [and] when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. |

And the locusts°
went up°°
over°
all°
the land°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,°
and rested°°
in all°
the coasts°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם:°
very°
grievous°
[were they]; before°
them there were°
no°
such°
locusts°
as they, neither°
after°
them shall be°
such.° |

And the locusts went up over all the land of Mitzrayim, and rested in all the coasts of Mitzrayim: very grievous [were they]; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such. |

of the trees°

For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Mitzrayim. |

10:16 ¶

in haste;°°
and he said,°°
I have sinned°°
against
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
your
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים,°
and against you. |

10:16 ¶
Then Paroh called for Mosheh and Aharon in haste; and he said, I have sinned against Yahweh your Elohim, and against you. |
|
10:17
Now°
therefore forgive,°°
I pray thee,°
my sin°
only°
this once,°
and intreat°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
your
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים,°
that he may take away°°
from°°
me this°°
death°
only.° |
|
10:17
Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat Yahweh your Elohim, that he may take away from me this death only. |
|
10:18
And he went out°°
from°°
Par`ò
פַּרעֹה,°
and intreated°°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.° |

10:18
And he went out from Paroh, and intreated Yahweh. |
|
10:19
And
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
turned°°
a mighty°
strong°
west°
wind,°
which took away°°°
the locusts,°
and cast°°
them into the
Sûf
סוּף°
sea;°
there remained°°
not°
one°
locust°
in all°
the coasts°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם.° |

10:19
And Yahweh turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Suf sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Mitzrayim. |
|
10:20
But
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
hardened°°°
Par`ò's
פַּרעֹה°
heart,°
so that he would not°
let°
the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
go.°° |
|
10:20
But Yahweh hardened Paroh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Yisrael go. |
|
10:21 ¶
And
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
said°°
unto°
Möšè
מֹשֶׁה,°
Stretch out°°
thine hand°
toward°
heaven,°
that there may be°
darkness°
over°
the land°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם,°
even darkness°
[which] may be felt.°° |

10:21 ¶
And Yahweh said unto Mosheh, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Mitzrayim, even darkness [which] may be felt. |
|
10:22
And

his hand°
toward°
heaven;°
and there was°
a thick°
darkness°
in all°
the land°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם°
three°
days:° |

And Mosheh stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Mitzrayim three days: |

They saw°°
not°
one°°
another,°
neither°
rose°°
any°
from his place°°
for three°
days:°
but all°
the children°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
had°
light°
in their dwellings.° |

10:23
They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Yisrael had light in their dwellings. |
|
10:24 ¶
And

פַּרעֹה°
called°°
unto°
Möšè
מֹשֶׁה,°
and said,°°
Go°°°
ye, serve°°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;°
only°
let your flocks°
and your herds°
be stayed:°°
let your little ones°
also°
go°°°
with°
you. |

10:24 ¶
And Paroh called unto Mosheh, and said, Go ye, serve Yahweh; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you. |

10:25
And

said,°°
Thou°
must give°°
us°
also°
sacrifices°
and burnt offerings,°
that we may sacrifice°°
unto
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
our
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים.° |

10:25
And Mosheh said, Thou must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto Yahweh our Elohim. |
|
10:26
Our cattle°
also°
shall go°°°
with°
us; there shall not°
an hoof°
be left behind;°°
for°
thereof°
must we take°°
to serve°°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
our
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים;°
and we°
know°°
not°
with what°
we must serve°°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
until°
we come°°
thither.° |

10:26
Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve Yahweh our Elohim; and we know not with what we must serve Yahweh, until we come thither. |
|
10:27 ¶
But

יָהוֶה°
hardened°°°

פַּרעֹה°
heart,°
and he would°°
not°
let them go.°° |
|
10:27 ¶
But Yahweh hardened Paroh's heart, and he would not let them go. |
|
10:28
And
Par`ò
פַּרעֹה°
said°°
unto him, Get°°°
thee from°°
me, take heed°°
to thyself, see°°
my face°
no°
more;°°
for°
in [that] day°
thou seest°°
my face°
thou shalt die.°° |
|
10:28
And Paroh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in [that] day thou seest my face thou shalt die. |
|
10:29
And

said,°°
Thou hast spoken°°
well,°
I will see°°
thy face°
again°°
no°
more.° |

And Mosheh said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more. |
