Mark 11
1 Christ rideth with triumph into Jerusalem: 12 curseth the fruitless leafy tree: 15 purgeth the Temple: 20 exhorteth his disciples to stedfastness of faith, and to forgive their enemies: 27 and defendeth the lawfulness of his actions, by the witness of John, who was a man sent of God.
11:1
As they *approached 1448 Jerusalem 2414, at Bethphage 967 and Bethany 963, near 4314 the Mount 3735 of Olives 1636, He *sent 649 two 1417 of His disciples 3101,
11:2
and *said 3004 to them, “Go 5217 into the village 2968 opposite 2713 you, and immediately 2117 as you enter 1531 it, you will find 2147 a colt 4454 tied 1210 [there], on which 3739 no 3762 one 444 3762 yet 3768 has ever 3768 sat 2523; untie 3089 it and bring 5342 it [here].
11:3
“If 1437 anyone 5100 says 3004 to you, ‘Why 5101 are you doing 4160 this 3778?’ you say 3004, ‘The Lord 2962 has 2192 need 5532 of it’; and immediately 2117 he will send 649 it back 3825 here 5602.”
11:4
They went 565 away 565 and found 2147 a colt 4454 tied 1210 at the door 2374, outside 1854 in the street 296; and they *untied 3089 it.
11:5
Some 5100 of the bystanders 1563 2476 were saying 3004 to them, “What 5101 are you doing 4160, untying 3089 the colt 4454?”
11:6
They spoke 3004 to them just 2531a as Jesus 2424 had told 3004 [them], and they gave 863 them permission 863.
11:7
They *brought 5342 the colt 4454 to Jesus 2424 and put 1911 their coats 2440 on it; and He sat 2523 on it.
11:8
And many 4183 spread 4766 their coats 2440 in the road 3598, and others 243 [spread] leafy 4742a branches 4742a which they had cut 2875 from the fields 68.
11:9
Those 3588 who went 4254 in front 4254 and those 3588 who followed 190 were shouting 2896: “Hosanna 5614! BLESSED 2127 IS HE WHO COMES 2064 IN THE NAME 3686 OF THE LORD 2962;
11:10
Blessed 2127 [is] the coming 2064 kingdom 932 of our father 3962 David 1160b; Hosanna 5614 in the highest 5310!”
11:11
¶ Jesus entered 1525 Jerusalem 2414 [and came] into the temple 2413; and after looking 4017 around 4017 at everything 3956, He left 1831 for Bethany 963 with the twelve 1427, since it was already 2235 late 3796.
11:12
¶ On the next 1887 day 1887, when they had left 1831 Bethany 963, He became hungry 3983.
11:13
Seeing 3708 at a distance 3113 a fig 4808 tree 4808 in leaf 5444, He went 2064 [to see] if 1487 perhaps 686 He would find 2147 anything 5100 on it; and when He came 2064 to it, He found 2147 nothing 3762 but leaves 5444, for it was not the season 2540 for figs 4810.
11:14
He said 3004 to it, “May no 3367 one 3367 ever 1519 165 eat 2068 fruit 2590 from you again 3371!” And His disciples 3101 were listening 191.
11:15
¶ Then 2532 they *came 2064 to Jerusalem 2414. And He entered 1525 the temple 2413 and began 757 to drive 1544b out those 3588 who were buying 59 and selling 4453 in the temple 2413, and overturned 2690 the tables 5132 of the money 2855a changers 2855a and the seats 2515 of those 3588 who were selling 4453 doves 4058;
11:16
and He would not permit 863 anyone 5100 to carry 1308 merchandise 4632 through 1223 the temple 2413.
11:17
And He [began] to teach 1321 and say 3004 to them, “Is it not written 1125, ‘MY HOUSE 3624 SHALL BE CALLED 2564 A HOUSE 3624 OF PRAYER 4335 FOR ALL 3956 THE NATIONS 1484’? But you have made 4160 it a ROBBERS’ 3027 DEN 4693.”

The chief 749 priests 749 and the scribes 1122 heard 191 [this], and [began] seeking 2212 how 4459 to destroy 622 Him; for they were afraid 5399 of Him, for the whole 3956 crowd 3793 was astonished 1605 at His teaching 1322.
11:19
¶ When 3752 evening 3796 came 1096, they would go 1607 out of the city 4172.
11:20
¶ As they were passing 3899 by in the morning 4404, they saw 3708 the fig 4808 tree 4808 withered 3583 from the roots 4491 [up].
11:21
Being reminded 363, Peter 4074 *said 3004 to Him, “Rabbi 4461, look 2396, the fig 4808 tree 4808 which 3739 You cursed 2672 has withered 3583.”
11:22
And Jesus 2424 *answered 611 saying 3004 to them, “Have 2192 faith 4102 in God 2316.
11:23
“Truly 281 I say 3004 to you, whoever 3739 302 says 3004 to this 3778 mountain 3735, ‘Be taken 142 up and cast 906 into the sea 2281,’ and does not doubt 1252 in his heart 2588, but believes 4100 that what 3739 he says 2980 is going to happen 1096, it will be [granted] him.
11:24
“Therefore 1223 3778 I say 3004 to you, all 3956 things 3956 for which 3745 you pray 4336 and ask 154, believe 4100 that you have received 2983 them, and they will be [granted] you.
11:25
“Whenever 3752 you stand 4739 praying 4336, forgive 863, if 1487 you have 2192 anything 5100 against 2596 anyone 5100, so 2443 that your Father 3962 who 3588 is in heaven 3772 will also 2532 forgive 863 you your transgressions 3900.
11:26
[[“But if 1487 you do not forgive 863, neither 3761 will your Father 3962 who 3588 is in heaven 3772 forgive 863 your transgressions 3900.”]]
11:27
¶ They *came 2064 again 3825 to Jerusalem 2414. And as He was walking 4043 in the temple 2413, the chief 749 priests 749 and the scribes 1122 and the elders 4245 *came 2064 to Him,

and [began] saying 3004 to Him, “By what 4169 authority 1849 are You doing 4160 these 3778 things 3778, or 2228 who 5101 gave 1325 You this 3778 authority 1849 to do 4160 these 3778 things 3778?”
11:29
And Jesus 2424 said 3004 to them, “I will ask 1905 you one 1520 question 3056, and you answer 611 Me, and [then] I will tell 3004 you by what 4169 authority 1849 I do 4160 these 3778 things 3778.
11:30
“Was the baptism 908 of John 2491 from heaven 3772, or 2228 from men 444? Answer 611 Me.”
11:31
They [began] reasoning 1260 among 4314 themselves 1438, saying 3004, “If 1437 we say 3004, ‘From heaven 3772,’ He will say 3004, ‘Then 3767 why 1223 5101 did you not believe 4100 him?’
11:32
“But shall we say 3004, ‘From men 444’?”—they were afraid 5399 of the people 3793, for everyone 537a considered 2192 John 2491 to have been 1510 a real 3689 prophet 4396.
11:33
Answering 611 Jesus 2424, they *said 3004, “We do not know 3609a.” And Jesus 2424 *said 3004 to them, “Nor 3761 will I tell 3004 you by what 4169 authority 1849 I do 4160 these 3778 things 3778.”
