 19:1 ¶ And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

 19:1 ¶ And the LORDº spakeºº untoº Moses,º saying,ºº

 19:2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy; for I Jehovah your God am holy.

 19:2 Speakºº untoº allº the congregationº of the childrenº of Israel,º and sayºº untoº them, Ye shall beº holy:º forº Iº the LORDº your Godº [am] holy.º

 19:3 ¶ Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father; and ye shall keep my sabbaths: I am Jehovah your God.

 19:3 ¶ Ye shall fearºº every manº his mother,º and his father,º and keepºº my sabbaths:º Iº [am] the LORDº your God.º

 19:4 ¶ Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am Jehovah your God.

 19:4 ¶ Turnºº ye notº untoº idols,º norº makeºº to yourselves moltenº gods:º Iº [am] the LORDº your God.º

 19:5 ¶ And when ye offer a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto Jehovah, ye shall offer it that ye may be accepted.

 19:5 ¶ And ifº ye offerºº a sacrificeº of peace offeringsº unto the LORD,º ye shall offerºº it at your own will.º

 19:6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if aught remain until the third day, it shall be burnt with fire.

 19:6 It shall be eatenºº the same dayº ye offerº it, and on the morrow:ºº and if ought remainºº untilº the thirdº day,º it shall be burntºº in the fire.º

 19:7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination; it shall not be accepted:

 19:7 And ifº it be eatenºº at allºº on the thirdº day,º itº [is] abominable;º it shall notº be accepted.ºº

 19:8 but every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the holy thing of Jehovah: and that soul shall be cut off from his people.

 19:8 Therefore [every one] that eatethºº it shall bearºº his iniquity,º becauseº he hath profanedººº the hallowed thingº of the LORD:º and thatº soulº shall be cut offºº from among his people.ºº

 19:9 ¶ And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleaning of thy harvest.

 19:9 ¶ And when ye reapººº the harvestº of your land,º thou shalt notº wholly reapººº the cornersº of thy field,º neitherº shalt thou gatherºº the gleaningsº of thy harvest.º

 19:10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather the fallen fruit of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am Jehovah your God.

 19:10 And thou shalt notº gleanºº thy vineyard,º neitherº shalt thou gatherºº [every] grapeº of thy vineyard;º thou shalt leaveºº them for the poorº and stranger:º Iº [am] the LORDº your God.º

 19:11 ¶ Ye shall not steal; neither shall ye deal falsely, nor lie one to another.

 19:11 ¶ Ye shall notº steal,ºº neitherº deal falsely,ºº neitherº lieºº oneº to another.º

 19:12 ¶ And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.

 19:12 ¶ And ye shall notº swearºº by my nameº falsely,º neither shalt thou profaneººº the nameº of thy God:º Iº [am] the LORD.º

 19:13 ¶ Thou shalt not oppress thy neighbor, nor rob him: the wages of a hired servant shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

 19:13 ¶ Thou shalt notº defraudººº thy neighbour,º neitherº robºº [him]: the wagesº of him that is hiredº shall notº abideºº with thee all nightºº untilº the morning.º

 19:14 ¶ Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind; but thou shalt fear thy God: I am Jehovah.

 19:14 ¶ Thou shalt notº curseºº the deaf,º norº putºº a stumblingblockº beforeº the blind,º but shalt fearºº thy God:ººº Iº [am] the LORD.º

 19:15 ¶ Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty; but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.

 19:15 ¶ Ye shall doºº noº unrighteousnessº in judgment:º thou shalt notº respectºº the personº of the poor,º norº honourºº the personº of the mighty:º [but] in righteousnessº shalt thou judgeºº thy neighbour.º

 19:16 ¶ Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor: I am Jehovah.

 19:16 ¶ Thou shalt notº goºº up and downº [as] a talebearerº among thy people:º neitherº shalt thou standºº againstº the bloodº of thy neighbour:º Iº [am] the LORD.º

 19:17 ¶ Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thy heart: thou shalt surely rebuke thy neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.

 19:17 ¶ Thou shalt notº hateººº thy brotherº in thine heart:º thou shalt in any wiseºº rebukeººº thy neighbour,º and notº sufferºº sinº uponº him.

 19:18 ¶ Thou shalt not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people; but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am Jehovah.

 19:18 ¶ Thou shalt notº avenge,ºº norº bear any grudgeºº againstº the childrenº of thy people,º but thou shalt loveºº thy neighbourº as thyself:º Iº [am] the LORD.º

 19:19 ¶ Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with two kinds of seed: neither shall there come upon thee a garment of two kinds of stuff mingled together.

 19:19 ¶ Ye shall keepººº my statutes.º Thou shalt notº let thy cattleº genderºº with a diverse kind:º thou shalt notº sowºº thy fieldº with mingled seed:º neitherº shall a garmentº mingledº of linen and woollenº comeºº uponº thee.

 19:20 ¶ And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to a husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; they shall be punished; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

 19:20 ¶ And whosoeverºº liethºº carnallyºº withº a woman,º thatº [is] a bondmaid,º betrothedºº to an husband,º and notº at allºº redeemed,ºº norºº freedomº givenºº her; she shall beº scourged;º they shall notº be put to death,ºº becauseº she was not free.ººº

 19:21 And he shall bring his trespass-offering unto Jehovah, unto the door of the tent of meeting, even a ram for a trespass-offering.

 19:21 And he shall bringººº his trespass offeringº unto the LORD,º untoº the doorº of the tabernacleº of the congregation,º [even] a ramº for a trespass offering.º

 19:22 And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering before Jehovah for his sin which he hath sinned: and the sin which he hath sinned shall be forgiven him.

 19:22 And the priestº shall make an atonementºº forº him with the ramº of the trespass offeringº beforeº the LORDº forº his sinº whichº he hath done:ºº and the sinºº whichº he hath doneºº shall be forgivenºº him.

 19:23 ¶ And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as their uncircumcision: three years shall they be as uncircumcised unto you; it shall not be eaten.

 19:23 ¶ And whenº ye shall comeºº intoº the land,º and shall have plantedºº all mannerº of treesº for food,º then ye shall countººº the fruitº thereof as uncircumcised:ºººº threeº yearsº shall it beº as uncircumcisedº unto you: it shall notº be eatenºº of.

 19:24 But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy, for giving praise unto Jehovah.

 19:24 But in the fourthº yearº allº the fruitº thereof shall beº holyº to praiseº the LORDº [withal].

 19:25 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am Jehovah your God.

 19:25 And in the fifthº yearº shall ye eatººº of the fruitº thereof, that it may yieldºº unto you the increaseº thereof: Iº [am] the LORDº your God.º

 19:26 ¶ Ye shall not eat anything with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantments, nor practise augury.

 19:26 ¶ Ye shall notº eatºº [any thing] withº the blood:º neitherº shall ye use enchantment,ºº norº observe times.ºº

 19:27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

 19:27 Ye shall notº roundºº the cornersº of your heads,º neitherº shalt thou marººº the cornersº of thy beard.º

 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am Jehovah.

 19:28 Ye shall notº makeºº anyº cuttingsº in your fleshº for the dead,º norº printºº any marksºº upon you: Iº [am] the LORD.º

 19:29 ¶ Profane not thy daughter, to make her a harlot; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

 19:29 ¶ Do notº prostituteººº thy daughter,º to cause her to be a whore;ºº lestº the landº fall to whoredom,ºº and the landº become fullºº of wickedness.º

 19:30 ¶ Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary; I am Jehovah.

 19:30 ¶ Ye shall keepººº my sabbaths,º and reverenceºº my sanctuary:º Iº [am] the LORD.º

 19:31 ¶ Turn ye not unto them that have familiar spirits, nor unto the wizards; seek them not out, to be defiled by them: I am Jehovah your God.

 19:31 ¶ Regardºº notº them that have familiar spirits,º neitherº seekºº afterº wizards,º to be defiledºº by them: Iº [am] the LORDº your God.º

 19:32 ¶ Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of the old man, and thou shalt fear thy God: I am Jehovah.

 19:32 ¶ Thou shalt rise upºº beforeºº the hoary head,º and honourºº the faceº of the old man,º and fearºº thy God:ººº Iº [am] the LORD.º

 19:33 ¶ And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not do him wrong.

 19:33 ¶ And ifº a strangerº sojournºº withº thee in your land,º ye shall notº vexºº him.

 19:34 The stranger that sojourneth with you shall be unto you as the home-born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were sojourners in the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.

 19:34 [But] the strangerº that dwellethºº withº you shall beº unto you as one bornº amongºº you, and thou shalt loveºº him as thyself;º forº ye wereº strangersº in the landº of Egypt:º Iº [am] the LORDº your God.º

 19:35 ¶ Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity.

 19:35 ¶ Ye shall doºº noº unrighteousnessº in judgment,º in meteyard,º in weight,º or in measure.º

 19:36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

 19:36 Justº balances,º justº weights,º a justº ephah,º and a justº hin,º shall ye have:º Iº [am] the LORDº your God,º whichº brought you outººº of the landºº of Egypt.º

 19:37 And ye shall observe all my statutes, and all mine ordinances, and do them: I am Jehovah.

 19:37 Therefore shall ye observeººº allº my statutes,º and allº my judgments,º and doºº them: Iº [am] the LORD.º
