Leviticus 24

1 The oil for the lamps. 5 The shewbread. 10 Shelomith's son blasphemeth. 13 The law of blasphemy. 17 Of murder. 18 Of damage. 23 The blasphemer stoned.

 24:1 Then the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 24:2 “Command 6680 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 that they bring 3947 to you clear 2134 oil 8081 from beaten 3795 olives 2132 for the light 3974, to make a lamp 5216 burn 5927 continually 8548.

 24:3 “Outside 4480 2351 the veil 6532 of testimony 5715 in the tent 168 of meeting 4150, Aaron 175 shall keep 6186a it in order 6186a from evening 6153 to morning 1242 before 6440 the LORD 3068 continually 8548; [it shall be] a perpetual 5769 statute 2708 throughout your generations 1755.

 24:4 “He shall keep 6186a the lamps 5216 in order 6186a on the pure 2889 [gold] lampstand 4501 before 6440 the LORD 3068 continually 8548.

 24:5 ¶ “Then you shall take 3947 fine 5560 flour 5560 and bake 644 twelve 8147 6240 cakes 2471 with it; two-tenths 8147 6241 [of an ephah] shall be [in] each 259 cake 2471.

 24:6 “You shall set 7760 them [in] two 8147 rows 4635, six 8337a [to] a row 4635, on the pure 2889 [gold] table 7979 before 6440 the LORD 3068.

 24:7 “You shall put 5414 pure 2134 frankincense 3828 on each row 4635 that it may be a memorial 234 portion 234 for the bread 3899, [even] an offering 801 by fire 801 to the LORD 3068.

 24:8 “Every sabbath 7676 day 3117 he shall set 6186a it in order 6186a before 6440 the LORD 3068 continually 8548; it is an everlasting 5769 covenant 1285 for the sons 1121 of Israel 3478.

 24:9 “It shall be for Aaron 175 and his sons 1121, and they shall eat 398 it in a holy 6918 place 4725; for it is most 6944 holy 6944 to him from the LORD’S 3068 offerings 801 by fire 801, [his] portion 2706 forever 5769.”

 24:10 ¶ Now the son 1121 of an Israelite 3482 woman 802, whose father 1121 376 was an Egyptian 4713, went 3318 out among 8432 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478; and the Israelite 3482 woman’s 3481 son 1121 and a man 376 of Israel 3481 struggled 5327b with each other in the camp 4264.

 24:11 The son 1121 of the Israelite 3482 woman 802 blasphemed 6895 the Name 8034 and cursed 7043. So they brought 935 him to Moses 4872. (Now his mother’s 517 name 8034 was Shelomith 8019b, the daughter 1323 of Dibri 1704, of the tribe 4294 of Dan 1835.)

 24:12 They put 5117 him in custody 4929 so that the command 6310 of the LORD 3068 might be made 6567a clear 6567a to them.

 24:13 ¶ Then the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 24:14 “Bring 3318 the one who has cursed 7043 outside 413 4480 2351 the camp 4264, and let all 3605 who heard 8085 him lay 5564 their hands 3027 on his head 7218; then let all 3605 the congregation 5712 stone 7275 him.

 24:15 “You shall speak 1696 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, saying 559, ‘If 3588 anyone 376 curses 7043 his God 430, then he will bear 5375 his sin 2399.

 24:16 ‘Moreover, the one who blasphemes 5344b the name 8034 of the LORD 3068 shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191; all 3605 the congregation 5712 shall certainly 7275 stone 7275 him. The alien 1616 as well as the native 249, when he blasphemes 5344b the Name 8034, shall be put 4191 to death 4191.

 24:17 ¶ ‘If 3588 a man 376 takes 5221 the life 5315 of any 3605 human 120 being 5315, he shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191.

 24:18 ‘The one who takes 5221 the life 5315 of an animal 929 shall make 7999a it good 7999a, life 5315 for life 5315.

 24:19 ‘If 3588 a man 376 injures 5414 4140b his neighbor 5997, just 3512c as he has done 6213a, so 3651 it shall be done 6213a to him:

 24:20 fracture 7667 for fracture 7667, eye 5869 for eye 5869, tooth 8127 for tooth 8127; just 3512c as he has injured 5414 4140b a man 120, so 3651 it shall be inflicted 5414 on him.

 24:21 ‘Thus the one who kills 5221 an animal 929 shall make 7999a it good 7999a, but the one who kills 5221 a man 120 shall be put 4191 to death 4191.

 24:22 ‘There shall be one 259 standard 4941 for you; it shall be for the stranger 1616 as well as the native 249, for I am the LORD 3068 your God 430.’”

 24:23 Then Moses 4872 spoke 1696 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, and they brought 3318 the one who had cursed 7043 outside 413 4480 2351 the camp 4264 and stoned 7275 him with stones 68. Thus the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 did 6213a, just 3512c as the LORD 3068 had commanded 6680 Moses 4872.
