Leviticus 20

1 Of him that giveth of his seed to Molech. 4 Of him that favoureth such an one. 6 Of going to wizards. 7 Of sanctification. 9 Of him that curseth his parents. 10 Of adultery. 11, 14, 17, 19 Of incest. 13 Of sodomy. 15 Of bestiality. 18 Of uncleanness. 22 Obedience is required with holiness. 27 Wizards must be put to death.

 20:1 Then the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 20:2 “You shall also say 559 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478: ¶ ‘Any 376 man 376 from the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 or from the aliens 1616 sojourning 1481a in Israel 3478 who 834 gives 5414 any 4480 of his offspring 2233 to Molech 4432, shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191; the people 5971a of the land 776 shall stone 7275 him with stones 68.

 20:3 ‘I will also set 5414 My face 6440 against that man 376 and will cut 3772 him off 3772 from among 7130 his people 5971a, because 3588 he has given 5414 some 4480 of his offspring 2233 to Molech 4432, so 4616 as to defile 2930 My sanctuary 4720 and to profane 2455 My holy 6944 name 8034.

 20:4 ‘If 518 the people 5971a of the land 776, however, should ever 5956 disregard 5956 5869 that man 376 when he gives 5414 any 4480 of his offspring 2233 to Molech 4432, so as not to put 4191 him to death 4191,

 20:5 then I Myself 589 will set 7760 My face 6440 against that man 376 and against his family 4940, and I will cut 3772 off 3772 from among 7130 their people 5971a both him and all 3605 those who play 2181 the harlot 2181 after 310 him, by playing 2181 the harlot 2181 after 310 Molech 4432.

 20:6 ¶ ‘As for the person 5315 who 834 turns 6437 to mediums 178 and to spiritists 3049, to play 2181 the harlot 2181 after 310 them, I will also set 5414 My face 6440 against that person 5315 and will cut 3772 him off 3772 from among 7130 his people 5971a.

 20:7 ‘You shall consecrate 6942 yourselves therefore and be holy 6944, for I am the LORD 3068 your God 430.

 20:8 ‘You shall keep 8104 My statutes 2708 and practice 6213a them; I am the LORD 3068 who sanctifies 6942 you.

 20:9 ¶ ‘If 3588 [there is] anyone 376 who 834 curses 7043 his father 1 or his mother 517, he shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191; he has cursed 7043 his father 1 or his mother 517, his bloodguiltiness 1818 is upon him.

 20:10 ¶ ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 commits 5003 adultery 5003 with another man’s 376 wife 802, one who 834 commits 5003 adultery 5003 with his friend’s 7453 wife 802, the adulterer 5003 and the adulteress 5003 shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191.

 20:11 ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 lies 7901 with his father’s 1 wife 802, he has uncovered 1540 his father’s 1 nakedness 6172; both 8147 of them shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191, their bloodguiltiness 1818 is upon them.

 20:12 ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 lies 7901 with his daughter-in-law 3618, both 8147 of them shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191; they have committed 6213a incest 8397, their bloodguiltiness 1818 is upon them.

 20:13 ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 lies 7901 with a male 2145 as those who lie 4904 with a woman 802, both 8147 of them have committed 6213a a detestable 8441 act 8441; they shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191. Their bloodguiltiness 1818 is upon them.

 20:14 ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 marries 3947 a woman 802 and her mother 517, it is immorality 2154; both he and they shall be burned 8313 with fire 784, so that there will be no 3808 immorality 2154 in your midst 8432.

 20:15 ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 lies 5414 7903 with an animal 929, he shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191; you shall also kill 2026 the animal 929.

 20:16 ‘If [there is] a woman 802 who 834 approaches 7126 any 3605 animal 929 to mate 7250 with it, you shall kill 2026 the woman 802 and the animal 929; they shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191. Their bloodguiltiness 1818 is upon them.

 20:17 ¶ ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 takes 3947 his sister 269, his father’s 1 daughter 1323 or 176 his mother’s 517 daughter 1323, so that he sees 7200 her nakedness 6172 and she sees 7200 his nakedness 6172, it is a disgrace 2617b; and they shall be cut 3772 off 3772 in the sight 5869 of the sons 1121 of their people 5971a. He has uncovered 1540 his sister’s 269 nakedness 6172; he bears 5375 his guilt 5771.

 20:18 ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 lies 7901 with a menstruous 1739 woman 802 and uncovers 1540 her nakedness 6172, he has laid 6168 bare 6168 her flow 4726, and she has exposed 1540 the flow 4726 of her blood 1818; thus both 8147 of them shall be cut 3772 off 3772 from among 7130 their people 5971a.

 20:19 ‘You shall also not uncover 1540 the nakedness 6172 of your mother’s 517 sister 269 or of your father’s 1 sister 269, for such a one has made 6168 naked 6168 his blood 7607 relative 7607; they will bear 5375 their guilt 5771.

 20:20 ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 lies 7901 with his uncle’s 1733 wife 1733 he has uncovered 1540 his uncle’s 1730 nakedness 6172; they will bear 5375 their sin 2399. They will die 4191 childless 6185.

 20:21 ‘If [there is] a man 376 who 834 takes 3947 his brother’s 251 wife 802, it is abhorrent 5079; he has uncovered 1540 his brother’s 251 nakedness 6172. They will be childless 6185.

 20:22 ¶ ‘You are therefore to keep 8104 all 3605 My statutes 2708 and all 3605 My ordinances 4941 and do 6213a them, so that the land 776 to which 834 I am bringing 935 you to live 3427 will not spew 7006a you out.

 20:23 ‘Moreover, you shall not follow 1980 the customs 2708 of the nation 1471 which 834 I will drive 7971 out before 6440 you, for they did 6213a all 3605 these 428 things 428, and therefore I have abhorred 6973 them.

 20:24 ‘Hence I have said 559 to you, “You are to possess 3423 their land 127, and I Myself 589 will give 5414 it to you to possess 3423 it, a land 776 flowing 2100 with milk 2461 and honey 1706.” I am the LORD 3068 your God 430, who 834 has separated 914 you from the peoples 5971a.

 20:25 ‘You are therefore to make 914 a distinction 914 between 996 the clean 2889 animal 929 and the unclean 2931, and between 996 the unclean 2931 bird 5775 and the clean 2889; and you shall not make 8262 yourselves 5315 detestable 8262 by animal 929 or by bird 5775 or by anything 3605 that creeps 7430 on the ground 127, which 834 I have separated 914 for you as unclean 2930.

 20:26 ‘Thus you are to be holy 6918 to Me, for I the LORD 3068 am holy 6918; and I have set 914 you apart 914 from the peoples 5971a to be Mine.

 20:27 ¶ ‘Now a man 376 or 176 a woman 802 who is a medium 178 or 176 a spiritist 3049 shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191. They shall be stoned 7275 with stones 68, their bloodguiltiness 1818 is upon them.’”
