And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, |

Son of man, set thy face steadfastly against the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them; |

and thou shalt say to the children of Ammon, Hear ye the word of the Lord; thus saith the Lord; Forasmuch as ye have rejoiced against my sanctuary, because it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, because it was laid waste; and against the house of Judah{gr.Juda}, because they went into captivity; |

of Adonai°
Yahweh;°
Thus°

Adonai°
Yahweh;°
Because°
thou saidst,°°
Aha,°
against°
my sanctuary,°
when°
it was profaned;°°
and against°
the land°
of Israel,°
when°
it was desolate;°°
and against°
the house°
of Judah,°
when°
they went°°
into captivity;° |

therefore, behold, I [will] deliver you to the children of Kedem for an inheritance, and they shall lodge in thee with their stuff, and they shall pitch their tents in thee: they shall eat thy fruits, and they shall drink thy milk. |

Behold,°

I will deliver°°
thee to the men°
of the east°
for a possession,°
and they shall set°°
their palaces°
in thee, and make°°
their dwellings°
in thee: they°
shall eat°°
thy fruit,°
and they°
shall drink°°
thy milk.° |

And I will give up the city of Ammon for camels' pastures, and the children of Ammon for a pasture of sheep: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. |

And I will make°°°
Rabbah°
a stable°
for camels,°
and the Ammonites°°
a couchingplace°
for flocks:°
and ye shall know°°
that°
I°
[am] Yahweh.° |

For thus saith the Lord; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with thy foot, and heartily rejoiced against the land of Israel; |

and stamped°°
with the feet,°
and rejoiced°°
in heart°
with all°
thy despite°
against°
the land°
of Israel;° |

therefore I will stretch out my hand against thee, and I will make thee a spoil to the nations; and I will utterly destroy thee from among the peoples, and I will completely cut thee off from out of the countries: and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. |

I will stretch out°°°
mine hand°
upon°
thee, and will deliver°°
thee for a spoil°°°
to the heathen;°
and I will cut thee off°°
from°
the people,°
and I will cause thee to perish°°
out of°
the countries:°
I will destroy°°
thee; and thou shalt know°°
that°
I°
[am] Yahweh.° |

Thus saith the Lord; Because Moab has said, Behold, are not the house of Israel and Judah{gr.Juda} like all the [other] nations? |

Adonai°
Yahweh;°
Because°
that°
Moab°
and Seir°
do say,°°
Behold,°
the house°
of Judah°
[is] like unto all°
the heathen;° |

25:9
Therefore, behold, I will weaken the shoulder of Moab from his frontier cities, [even] the choice land, the house of Bethasimuth above the fountain of the city, by the sea-side. |

Therefore,°
behold,°
I will open°°°
the side°
of Moab°
from the cities,°°
from his cities°°
[which are] on his frontiers,°°
the glory°
of the country,°
Bethjeshimoth,°
Baalmeon,°
and Kiriathaim,° |

25:10
I have given him the children of Kedem in addition to the children of Ammon for an inheritance, that there may be no remembrance of the children of Ammon. |

Unto the men°
of the east°
with°
the Ammonites,°°
and will give°°
them in possession,°
that°
the Ammonites°°
may not°
be remembered°°
among the nations.° |

25:11
And I will execute vengeance on Moab; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |

And I will execute°°
judgments°
upon Moab;°
and they shall know°°
that°
I°
[am] Yahweh.° |

25:12 ¶
Thus saith the Lord; Because of what the Edomites{gr.Idumeans} have done in taking vengeance on the house of Judah{gr.Juda}, and [because they] have remembered injuries, and have exacted full recompense; |

Yahweh;°
Because that°
Edom°
hath dealt°°
against the house°
of Judah°
by taking°°
vengeance,°
and hath greatly°°
offended,°°
and revenged°°
himself°
upon them; |

25:13
therefore thus saith the Lord; I will also stretch out my hand upon Edom{gr.Idumea}, and will utterly destroy out of it man and beast; and will make it desolate; and they that are pursued out of Teman{gr.Thaeman} shall fall by the sword. |

Yahweh;°
I will also stretch out°°
mine hand°
upon°
Edom,°
and will cut off°°
man°
and beast°
from°
it; and I will make°°
it desolate°
from Teman;°°
and they of Dedan°
shall fall°°
by the sword.° |

And I will execute my vengeance on Edom{gr.Idumea} by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall deal in Edom{gr.Idumea} according to mine anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord. |

my vengeance°
upon Edom°
by the hand°
of my people°
Israel:°
and they shall do°°
in Edom°
according to mine anger°
and according to my fury;°
and they shall know°°°
my vengeance,°
saith°°

25:15 ¶
Therefore thus saith the Lord, Because the Philistines have wrought revengefully, and raised up vengeance rejoicing from their heart to destroy [the Israelites] to a man; |

Adonai°
Yahweh;°
Because°
the Philistines°
have dealt°°
by revenge,°
and have taken°°
vengeance°
with a despiteful°
heart,°
to destroy°
[it] for the old°
hatred;° |

25:16
therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I [will] stretch out my hand upon the Philistines, and will utterly destroy the Cretans, and will cut off the remnant that dwell by the sea-coast. |

Therefore°

Adonai°
Yahweh;°
Behold,°
I will stretch out°°
mine hand°
upon°
the Philistines,°
and I will cut off°°°
the Cherethims,°
and destroy°°°
the remnant°
of the sea°
coast.° |

25:17
And I will execute great vengeance upon them; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have brought my vengeance upon them. |

vengeance°
upon them with furious°
rebukes;°
and they shall know°°
that°
I°
[am] Yahweh,°
when I shall lay°°°
my vengeance°
upon them. |
