Revelation 21
1 A new heaven and a new earth. 10 The heavenly Jerusalem, with a full description thereof. 23 She neededth no sun, the glory of God is her light. 24 The kings of the earth bring their riches unto her.
21:1
Then 2532 I saw 3708 a new 2537 heaven 3772 and a new 2537 earth 1093; for the first 4413 heaven 3772 and the first 4413 earth 1093 passed 565 away 565, and there is no 3756 longer 2089 [any] sea 2281.
21:2
And I saw 3708 the holy 40 city 4172, new 2537 Jerusalem 2419, coming 2597 down 2597 out of heaven 3772 from God 2316, made 2090 ready 2090 as a bride 3565 adorned 2885 for her husband 435.
21:3
And I heard 191 a loud 3173 voice 5456 from the throne 2362, saying 3004, “Behold 2400, the tabernacle 4633 of God 2316 is among 3326 men 444, and He will dwell 4637 among 3326 them, and they shall be His people 2992, and God 2316 Himself 846 will be among 3326 them,
21:4
and He will wipe 1813 away 1813 every 3956 tear 1144 from their eyes 3788; and there will no 3756 longer 2089 be [any] death 2288; there will no 3756 longer 2089 be [any] mourning 3997, or 3777 crying 2906, or 3777 pain 4192; the first 4413 things 4413 have passed 565 away 565.”
21:5
¶ And He who sits 2521 on the throne 2362 said 3004, “Behold 2400, I am making 4160 all 3956 things 3956 new 2537.” And He *said 3004, “Write 1125, for these 3778 words 3056 are faithful 4103 and true 228.”
21:6
Then 2532 He said 3004 to me, “It is done 1096. I am the Alpha 256a and the Omega 5598, the beginning 746 and the end 5056. I will give 1325 to the one who thirsts 1372 from the spring 4077 of the water 5204 of life 2222 without 1431 cost 1431.
21:7
“He who overcomes 3528 will inherit 2816 these 3778 things 3778, and I will be his God 2316 and he will be My son 5207.
21:8
“But for the cowardly 1169 and unbelieving 571 and abominable 948 and murderers 5406 and immoral 4205 persons 4205 and sorcerers 5333 and idolaters 1496 and all 3956 liars 5571, their part 3313 [will be] in the lake 3041 that burns 2545 with fire 4442 and brimstone 2303, which 3739 is the second 1208 death 2288.”
21:9
¶ Then 2532 one 1520 of the seven 2033 angels 32a who had 2192 the seven 2033 bowls 5357 full 1073 of the seven 2033 last 2078 plagues 4127 came 2064 and spoke 2980 with me, saying 3004, “Come 1204 here 1204, I will show 1166 you the bride 3565, the wife 1135 of the Lamb 721b.”
21:10
And he carried 667 me away 667 in the Spirit 4151 to a great 3173 and high 5308 mountain 3735, and showed 1166 me the holy 40 city 4172, Jerusalem 2419, coming 2597 down 2597 out of heaven 3772 from God 2316,
21:11
having 2192 the glory 1391 of God 2316. Her brilliance 5458 was like 3664 a very 5093 costly 5093 stone 3037, as a stone 3037 of crystal-clear 2929 jasper 2393.
21:12
It had 2192 a great 3173 and high 5308 wall 5038, with twelve 1427 gates 4440, and at the gates 4440 twelve 1427 angels 32a; and names 3686 [were] written 1924 on them, which 3739 are [the names] of the twelve 1427 tribes 5443 of the sons 5207 of Israel 2474.
21:13
[There were] three 5140 gates 4440 on the east 395 and three 5140 gates 4440 on the north 1005 and three 5140 gates 4440 on the south 3558 and three 5140 gates 4440 on the west 1424.
21:14
And the wall 5038 of the city 4172 had 2192 twelve 1427 foundation 2310b stones 2310b, and on them [were] the twelve 1427 names 3686 of the twelve 1427 apostles 652 of the Lamb 721b.
21:15
¶ The one who spoke 2980 with me had 2192 a gold 5552 measuring 2563 rod 2563 to measure 3354 the city 4172, and its gates 4440 and its wall 5038.
21:16
The city 4172 is laid 2749 out as a square 5068b, and its length 3372 is as great 3745 as the width 4114; and he measured 3354 the city 4172 with the rod 2563, fifteen hundred miles 4712; its length 3372 and width 4114 and height 5311 are equal 2470.
21:17
And he measured 3354 its wall 5038, seventy-two yards 4083, [according to] human 444 measurements 3358, which 3739 are [also] angelic 32a [measurements].
21:18
The material 1746b of the wall 5038 was jasper 2393; and the city 4172 was pure 2513 gold 5553, like 3664 clear 2513 glass 5194.
21:19
The foundation 2310b stones 2310b of the city 4172 wall 5038 were adorned 2885 with every 3956 kind 3956 of precious 5093 stone 3037. The first 4413 foundation 2310b stone 2310b was jasper 2393; the second 1208, sapphire 4552; the third 5154, chalcedony 5472; the fourth 5067a, emerald 4665;
21:20
the fifth 3991, sardonyx 4557; the sixth 1623, sardius 4556; the seventh 1442, chrysolite 5555; the eighth 3590, beryl 969; the ninth 1729a, topaz 5116; the tenth 1182, chrysoprase 5556; the eleventh 1734, jacinth 5192; the twelfth 1428, amethyst 271.
21:21
And the twelve 1427 gates 4440 were twelve 1427 pearls 3135; each 1538 one 1520 of the gates 4440 was a single 1520 pearl 3135. And the street 4116 of the city 4172 was pure 2513 gold 5553, like 5613 transparent 1306b glass 5194.
21:22
¶ I saw 3708 no 3756 temple 3485 in it, for the Lord 2962 God 2316 the Almighty 3841 and the Lamb 721b are its temple 3485.
21:23
And the city 4172 has 2192 no 3756 need 5532 of the sun 2246 or 3761 of the moon 4582 to shine 5316 on it, for the glory 1391 of God 2316 has illumined 5461 it, and its lamp 3088 [is] the Lamb 721b.
21:24
The nations 1484 will walk 4043 by its light 5457, and the kings 935 of the earth 1093 will bring 5342 their glory 1391 into it.
21:25
In the daytime 2250 (for there will be no 3756 night 3571 there 1563) its gates 4440 will never 3756 be closed 2808;
21:26
and they will bring 5342 the glory 1391 and the honor 5092 of the nations 1484 into it;
21:27
and nothing 3956 unclean 2839, and no 3756 3361 one who practices 4160 abomination 946 and lying 5579, shall ever 3756 3361 come 1525 into it, but only 1487 3361 those 3588 whose names are written 1125 in the Lamb’s 721b book 975 of life 2222.
