Revelation 18

2 Babylon is fallen. 4 The people of God commanded to depart out of her. 9 The kings of the earth, 11 with the merchants and mariners, lament over her. 20 The saints rejoice for the judgments of God upon her.

 18:1 After 3326 these 3778 things 3778 I saw 3708 another 243 angel 32a coming 2597 down 2597 from heaven 3772, having 2192 great 3173 authority 1849, and the earth 1093 was illumined 5461 with his glory 1391.

 18:2 And he cried 2896 out with a mighty 2478 voice 5456, saying 3004, “Fallen 4098, fallen 4098 is Babylon 897 the great 3173! She has become 1096 a dwelling 2732 place 2732 of demons 1140 and a prison 5438 of every 3956 unclean 169 spirit 4151, and a prison 5438 of every 3956 unclean 169 and hateful 3404 bird 3732.

 18:3 “For all 3956 the nations 1484 have drunk 4095 of the wine 3631 of the passion 2372 of her immorality 4202, and the kings 935 of the earth 1093 have committed 4203 [acts of] immorality 4203 with her, and the merchants 1713 of the earth 1093 have become 4147 rich 4147 by the wealth 1411 of her sensuality 4764.”

 18:4 ¶ I heard 191 another 243 voice 5456 from heaven 3772, saying 3004, “Come 1831 out of her, my people 2992, so 2443 that you will not participate 4790 in her sins 266 and receive 2983 of her plagues 4127;

 18:5 for her sins 266 have piled 2853 up as high 891 as heaven 3772, and God 2316 has remembered 3421 her iniquities 92.

 18:6 “Pay 591 her back 591 even 2532 as she has paid 591, and give 1363 back 1363 [to her] double 1363 1362 according 2596 to her deeds 2041; in the cup 4221 which 3739 she has mixed 2767, mix 2767 twice 1362 as much 1362 for her.

 18:7 “To the degree 3745 that she glorified 1392 herself 846 and lived 4763 sensuously 4763, to the same 5118 degree 5118 give 1325 her torment 929 and mourning 3997; for she says 3004 in her heart 2588, ‘I SIT 2521 [as] A QUEEN 938 AND I AM 1510 NOT A WIDOW 5503, and will never 3756 see 3708 mourning 3997.’

 18:8 “For this 3778 reason 1223 in one 1520 day 2250 her plagues 4127 will come 2240, pestilence 2288 and mourning 3997 and famine 3042, and she will be burned 2618 up with fire 4442; for the Lord 2962 God 2316 who judges 2919 her is strong 2478.

 18:9 ¶ “And the kings 935 of the earth 1093, who committed 4203 [acts of] immorality 4203 and lived 4763 sensuously 4763 with her, will weep 2799 and lament 2875 over 1909 her when 3752 they see 991 the smoke 2586 of her burning 4451,

 18:10 standing 2476 at a distance 3113 because 1223 of the fear 5401 of her torment 929, saying 3004, ‘Woe 3759, woe 3759, the great 3173 city 4172, Babylon 897, the strong 2478 city 4172! For in one 1520 hour 5610 your judgment 2920 has come 2064.’

 18:11 ¶ “And the merchants 1713 of the earth 1093 weep 2799 and mourn 3996 over 1909 her, because 3754 no 3762 one 3762 buys 59 their cargoes 1117 any 3765 more 3765—

 18:12 cargoes 1117 of gold 5557 and silver 696 and precious 5093 stones 3037 and pearls 3135 and fine 1039 linen 1039 and purple 4209 and silk 4596 and scarlet 2847, and every 3956 [kind of] citron 2367 wood 3586 and every 3956 article 4632 of ivory 1661 and every 3956 article 4632 [made] from very 5093 costly 5093 wood 3586 and bronze 5475 and iron 4604 and marble 3139,

 18:13 and cinnamon 2796b and spice 299a and incense 2368 and perfume 3464 and frankincense 3030 and wine 3631 and olive 1637 oil 1637 and fine 4585 flour 4585 and wheat 4621 and cattle 2934 and sheep 4263b, and [cargoes] of horses 2462 and chariots 4480 and slaves 4983 and human 444 lives 5590.

 18:14 “The fruit 3703 you long 1939 for has gone 565 from you, and all 3956 things that were luxurious 3045 and splendid 2986 have passed 622 away 622 from you and [men] will no 3765 longer 3765 find 2147 them.

 18:15 “The merchants 1713 of these 3778 things 3778, who became rich 4147 from her, will stand 2476 at a distance 3113 because 1223 of the fear 5401 of her torment 929, weeping 2799 and mourning 3996,

 18:16 saying 3004, ‘Woe 3759, woe 3759, the great 3173 city 4172, she who was clothed 4016 in fine 1039 linen 1039 and purple 4210 and scarlet 2847, and adorned 5558 with gold 5553 and precious 5093 stones 3037 and pearls 3135;

 18:17 for in one 1520 hour 5610 such 5118 great 5118 wealth 4149 has been laid 2049 waste 2049!’ And every 3956 shipmaster 2942 and every 3956 passenger 1909 5117 4126 and sailor 3492, and as many 3745 as make 2038b their living 2038b by the sea 2281, stood 2476 at a distance 3113,

 18:18 and were crying 2896 out as they saw 991 the smoke 2586 of her burning 4451, saying 3004, ‘What 5101 [city] is like 3664 the great 3173 city 4172?’

 18:19 “And they threw 906 dust 5529b on their heads 2776 and were crying 2896 out, weeping 2799 and mourning 3996, saying 3004, ‘Woe 3759, woe 3759, the great 3173 city 4172, in which 3739 all 3956 who had 2192 ships 4143 at sea 2281 became rich 4147 by her wealth 5094, for in one 1520 hour 5610 she has been laid 2049 waste 2049!’

 18:20 “Rejoice 2165 over 1909 her, O heaven 3772, and you saints 40 and apostles 652 and prophets 4396, because 3754 God 2316 has pronounced 2919 judgment 2917 for you against 1537 her.”

 18:21 ¶ Then 2532 a strong 2478 angel 32a took 142 up a stone 3037 like 5613 a great 3173 millstone 3457b and threw 906 it into the sea 2281, saying 3004, “So 3779 will Babylon 897, the great 3173 city 4172, be thrown 906 down with violence 3731, and will not be found 2147 any 2089 longer 2089.

 18:22 “And the sound 5456 of harpists 2790 and musicians 3451 and flute-players 834 and trumpeters 4538 will not be heard 191 in you any 2089 longer 2089; and no 3756 3361 3956 craftsman 5079 of any 3956 craft 5078 will be found 2147 in you any 2089 longer 2089; and the sound 5456 of a mill 3458 will not be heard 191 in you any 2089 longer 2089;

 18:23 and the light 5457 of a lamp 3088 will not shine 5316 in you any 2089 longer 2089; and the voice 5456 of the bridegroom 3566 and bride 3565 will not be heard 191 in you any 2089 longer 2089; for your merchants 1713 were the great 3175 men 3175 of the earth 1093, because 3754 all 3956 the nations 1484 were deceived 4105 by your sorcery 5331.

 18:24 “And in her was found 2147 the blood 129 of prophets 4396 and of saints 40 and of all 3956 who have been slain 4969 on the earth 1093.”
