Revelation 1

4 John writeth his revelation to the seven Churches of Asia, signified by the seven golden candlesticks. 7 The coming of Christ. 14 His glorious power and majesty.

 1:1 The Revelation 602 of Jesus 2424 Christ 5547, which 3739 God 2316 gave 1325 Him to show 1166 to His bond-servants 1401, the things which 3739 must 1163 soon 5034 take 1096 place 1096; and He sent 649 and communicated 4591 [it] by His angel 32a to His bond-servant 1401 John 2491,

 1:2 who 3739 testified 3140 to the word 3056 of God 2316 and to the testimony 3141 of Jesus 2424 Christ 5547, [even] to all 3745 that he saw 3708.

 1:3 Blessed 3107 is he who reads 314 and those 3588 who hear 191 the words 3056 of the prophecy 4394, and heed 5083 the things which are written 1125 in it; for the time 2540 is near 1451.

 1:4 ¶ John 2491 to the seven 2033 churches 1577 that are in Asia 773: Grace 5485 to you and peace 1515, from Him who is and who was and who is to come 2064, and from the seven 2033 Spirits 4151 who 3739 are before 1799 His throne 2362,

 1:5 and from Jesus 2424 Christ 5547, the faithful 4103 witness 3144, the firstborn 4416a of the dead 3498, and the ruler 758 of the kings 935 of the earth 1093. To Him who loves 25 us and released 3089 us from our sins 266 by His blood 129—

 1:6 and He has made 4160 us [to be] a kingdom 932, priests 2409 to His God 2316 and Father 3962—to Him [be] the glory 1391 and the dominion 2904 forever 165 and ever 165. Amen 281.

 1:7 BEHOLD 2400, HE IS COMING 2064 WITH THE CLOUDS 3507, and every 3956 eye 3788 will see 3708 Him, even 2532 those who 3748 pierced 1574 Him; and all 3956 the tribes 5443 of the earth 1093 will mourn 2875 over 1909 Him. So 3483a it is to be. Amen 281.

 1:8 ¶ “I am 1510 the Alpha 256a and the Omega 5598,” says 3004 the Lord 2962 God 2316, “who is and who 3588 was and who is to come 2064, the Almighty 3841.”

 1:9 ¶ I, John 2491, your brother 80 and fellow 4791 partaker 4791 in the tribulation 2347 and kingdom 932 and perseverance 5281 [which are] in Jesus 2424, was on the island 3520 called 2564 Patmos 3963 because 1223 of the word 3056 of God 2316 and the testimony 3141 of Jesus 2424.

 1:10 I was in the Spirit 4151 on the Lord’s 2960 day 2250, and I heard 191 behind 3694 me a loud 3173 voice 5456 like 5613 [the sound] of a trumpet 4536,

 1:11 saying 3004, “Write 1125 in a book 975 what 3739 you see 991, and send 3992 [it] to the seven 2033 churches 1577: to Ephesus 2181 and to Smyrna 4667 and to Pergamum 4010 and to Thyatira 2363 and to Sardis 4554 and to Philadelphia 5359 and to Laodicea 2993.”

 1:12 ¶ Then 2532 I turned 1994 to see 991 the voice 5456 that was speaking 2980 with me. And having turned 1994 I saw 3708 seven 2033 golden 5552 lampstands 3087;

 1:13 and in the middle 3319 of the lampstands 3087 [I saw] one 3664 like 3664 a son 5207 of man 444, clothed 1746a in a robe 4158 reaching 4158 to the feet 4158, and girded 4024 across 4314 His chest 3149 with a golden 5552 sash 2223.

 1:14 His head 2776 and His hair 2359 were white 3022 like 5613 white 3022 wool 2053, like 5613 snow 5510; and His eyes 3788 were like 5613 a flame 5395 of fire 4442.

 1:15 His feet 4228 [were] like 3664 burnished 5474 bronze 5474, when 5613 it has been made 4448 to glow 4448 in a furnace 2575, and His voice 5456 [was] like 5613 the sound 5456 of many 4183 waters 5204.

 1:16 In His right 1188 hand 5495 He held 2192 seven 2033 stars 792, and out of His mouth 4750 came 1607 a sharp 3691 two-edged 1366 sword 4501b; and His face 3799 was like 5613 the sun 2246 shining 5316 in its strength 1411.

 1:17 ¶ When 3753 I saw 3708 Him, I fell 4098 at His feet 4228 like 5613 a dead 3498 man 3498. And He placed 5087 His right 1188 hand 1188 on me, saying 3004, “Do not be afraid 5399; I am 1510 the first 4413 and the last 2078,

 1:18 and the living 2198 One; and I was dead 3498, and behold 2400, I am 1510 alive 2198 forevermore 165, and I have 2192 the keys 2807 of death 2288 and of Hades 86.

 1:19 “Therefore 3767 write 1125 the things which 3739 you have seen 3708, and the things which 3739 are, and the things which 3739 will take 1096 place 1096 after 3326 these 3778 things 3778.

 1:20 “As for the mystery 3466 of the seven 2033 stars 792 which 3739 you saw 3708 in My right 1188 hand 1188, and the seven 2033 golden 5552 lampstands 3087: the seven 2033 stars 792 are the angels 32a of the seven 2033 churches 1577, and the seven 2033 lampstands 3087 are the seven 2033 churches 1577.
