Hebrews 3

1 Christ is more worthy than Moses: 7 therefore if we believe not in him, we shall be more worthy of punishment than hardhearted Israel.

 3:1 Therefore 3606, holy 40 brethren 80, partakers 3353 of a heavenly 2032 calling 2821, consider 2657 Jesus 2424, the Apostle 652 and High 749 Priest 749 of our confession 3671;

 3:2 He was faithful 4103 to Him who appointed 4160 Him, as Moses 3475 also 2532 was in all 3650 His house 3624.

 3:3 For He has been counted 515 worthy 515 of more 4183 glory 1391 than 3844 Moses 3475, by just 2596 so 3745 much 3745 as the builder 2680 of the house 3624 has 2192 more 4183 honor 5092 than the house 3624.

 3:4 For every 3956 house 3624 is built 2680 by someone 5100, but the builder 2680 of all 3956 things 3956 is God 2316.

 3:5 Now 2532 Moses 3475 was faithful 4103 in all 3650 His house 3624 as a servant 2324, for a testimony 3142 of those 3588 things which were to be spoken 2980 later;

 3:6 but Christ 5547 [was faithful] as a Son 5207 over 1909 His house 3624—whose 3739 house 3624 we are, if 1437 we hold 2722 fast 2722 our confidence 3954 and the boast 2745 of our hope 1680 firm 949 until 3360 the end 5056.

 3:7 ¶ Therefore 1352, just 2531a as the Holy 40 Spirit 4151 says 3004, “TODAY 4594 IF 1437 YOU HEAR 191 HIS VOICE 5456,

 3:8 DO NOT HARDEN 4645 YOUR HEARTS 2588 AS WHEN 1722 THEY PROVOKED 3894 ME, AS IN THE DAY 2250 OF TRIAL 3986 IN THE WILDERNESS 2048,

 3:9 WHERE 3757 YOUR FATHERS 3962 TRIED 3985 [Me] BY TESTING 1381b [Me], AND SAW 3708 MY WORKS 2041 FOR FORTY 5065b YEARS 2094.

 3:10 “THEREFORE 1352 I WAS ANGRY 4360 WITH THIS 3778 GENERATION 1074, AND SAID 3004, ‘THEY ALWAYS 104 GO 4105 ASTRAY 4105 IN THEIR HEART 2588, AND THEY DID NOT KNOW 1097 MY WAYS 3598’;

 3:11 AS I SWORE 3660 IN MY WRATH 3709, ‘THEY SHALL NOT ENTER 1525 MY REST 2663.’”

 3:12 Take 991 care 991, brethren 80, that there not be in any 5100 one 5100 of you an evil 4190, unbelieving 570 heart 2588 that falls 868 away 868 from the living 2198 God 2316.

 3:13 But encourage 3870 one 1438 another 1438 day 2250 after 2596 day 2250, as long 891 as it is [still] called 2564 “Today 4594,” so 2443 3361 that none 5100 1438 of you will be hardened 4645 by the deceitfulness 539 of sin 266.

 3:14 For we have become 1096 partakers 3353 of Christ 5547, if 1437 4007a we hold 2722 fast 2722 the beginning 746 of our assurance 5287 firm 949 until 3360 the end 5056,

 3:15 while 1722 it is said 3004, “TODAY 4594 IF 1437 YOU HEAR 191 HIS VOICE 5456, DO NOT HARDEN 4645 YOUR HEARTS 2588, AS WHEN 1722 THEY PROVOKED 3894 ME.”

 3:16 For who 5101 provoked 3893 [Him] when they had heard 191? Indeed 235, did not all 3956 those 3588 who 5101 came 1831 out of Egypt 125 [led] by Moses 3475?

 3:17 And with whom 5101 was He angry 4360 for forty 5065b years 2094? Was it not with those 3588 who 5101 sinned 264, whose 3739 bodies 2966 fell 4098 in the wilderness 2048?

 3:18 And to whom 5101 did He swear 3660 that they would not enter 1525 His rest 2663, but to those 3588 who 5101 were disobedient 544?

 3:19 [So] we see 991 that they were not able 1410 to enter 1525 because 1223 of unbelief 570.
