Hebrews 7

1 Christ Jesus is a priest after the order of Melchisedec, 11 and so, far more excellent than the priests of Aaron's order.

 7:3 Without 540 father 540, without 282 mother 282, without 35 genealogy 35, having 2192 neither 3383 beginning 746 of days 2250 nor 3383 end 5056 of life 2222, but made 871 like 871 the Son 5207 of God 2316, he remains 3306 a priest 2409 perpetually 1519 1336.

 7:4 ¶ Now 1161 observe 2334 how 4080 great 4080 this 3778 man 3778 was to whom 3739 Abraham 11, the patriarch 3966, gave 1325 a tenth 1181 of the choicest 205 spoils 205.

 7:5 And those 3588 indeed 3303a of the sons 5207 of Levi 3017 who receive 2983 the priest’s 2405 office 2405 have 2192 commandment 1785 in the Law 3551 to collect 586b a tenth 586b from the people 2992, that is, from their brethren 80, although 2539 these are descended 1831 3751 from Abraham 11.

 7:6 But the one whose genealogy 1075 is not traced 1075 from them collected 1183 a tenth 1183 from Abraham 11 and blessed 2127 the one who had 2192 the promises 1860.

 7:7 But without 5565 any 3956 dispute 485 the lesser 1640 is blessed 2127 by the greater 2909.

 7:8 In this 5602 case 5602 mortal 599 men 444 receive 2983 tithes 1181, but in that case 1563 one [receives them], of whom it is witnessed 3140 that he lives 2198 on.

 7:9 And, so 5613 2031 to speak 3004, through 1223 Abraham 11 even 2532 Levi 3017, who received 2983 tithes 1181, paid 1183 tithes 1183,

 7:12 For when the priesthood 2420 is changed 3346a, of necessity 318 there takes 1096 place 1096 a change 3331 of law 3551 also 2532.

 7:13 For the one concerning 1909 whom 3739 these 3778 things 3778 are spoken 3004 belongs 3348 to another 2087 tribe 5443, from which 3739 no 3762 one 3762 has officiated 4337 at the altar 2379.

 7:15 And this is clearer 2612 still 2089, if 1487 another 2087 priest 2409 arises 450 according 2596 to the likeness 3665 of Melchizedek 3198,

 7:16 who 3739 has become 1096 [such] not on the basis 2596 of a law 3551 of physical 4560 requirement 1785, but according 2596 to the power 1411 of an indestructible 179 life 2222.

 7:17 For it is attested 3140 [of Him], “YOU ARE A PRIEST 2409 FOREVER 165 ACCORDING 2596 TO THE ORDER 5010 OF MELCHIZEDEK 3198.”

 7:18 For, on the one 3303a hand 3303a, there is a setting 115 aside 115 of a former 4254 commandment 1785 because 1223 of its weakness 772 and uselessness 512

 7:19 (for the Law 3551 made 5048 nothing 3762 perfect 5048), and on the other 1161 hand 1161 there is a bringing 1898a in of a better 2909 hope 1680, through 1223 which 3739 we draw 1448 near 1448 to God 2316.

 7:20 And inasmuch 2596 3745 as [it was] not without 5565 an oath 3728

 7:21 (for they indeed 3303a became 1096 priests 2409 without 5565 an oath 3728, but He with an oath 3728 through 1223 the One who said 3004 to Him, “THE LORD 2962 HAS SWORN 3660 AND WILL NOT CHANGE 3338 HIS MIND 3338, ‘YOU ARE A PRIEST 2409 FOREVER 165’”);

 7:22 so 5118 much 5118 the more 2596 also 2532 Jesus 2424 has become 1096 the guarantee 1450 of a better 2909 covenant 1242.

 7:23 ¶ The [former] priests 2409, on the one 3303a hand 3303a, existed 1510 1096 in greater 4183 numbers 4183 because 1223 they were prevented 2967 by death 2288 from continuing 3887,

 7:24 but Jesus, on the other 1161 hand 1161, because 1223 He continues 3306 forever 165, holds 2192 His priesthood 2420 permanently 531.

 7:25 Therefore 3606 He is able 1410 also 2532 to save 4982 forever 1519 3838 those 3588 who draw 4334 near 4334 to God 2316 through 1223 Him, since He always 3842 lives 2198 to make 1793 intercession 1793 for them.

 7:26 ¶ For it was fitting 4241 for us to have such 5108 a high 749 priest 749, holy 3741, innocent 172, undefiled 283, separated 5563 from sinners 268 and exalted 5308 above the heavens 3772;

 7:27 who 3739 does not need 318 daily 2596 2250, like 5618 those 3588 high 749 priests 749, to offer 399 up sacrifices 2378, first 4387 for His own 2398 sins 266 and then 1899 for the [sins] of the people 2992, because 1063 this 3778 He did 4160 once 2178 for all 2178 when He offered 399 up Himself 1438.

 7:28 For the Law 3551 appoints 2525 men 444 as high 749 priests 749 who are weak 769, but the word 3056 of the oath 3728, which came after 3326 the Law 3551, [appoints] a Son 5207, made 5048 perfect 5048 forever 165.
