1 Corinthians 6

1 The Corinthians must not vex their brethren, in going to law with them: 6 especially under infidels. 9 The unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God. 15 Our bodies are the members of Christ, 19 and temples of the Holy Ghost. 16, 17 They must not therefore be defiled.

 6:1 Does any 5100 one 5100 of you, when he has 2192 a case 4229 against 4314 his neighbor 2087, dare 5111 to go 2919 to law 2919 before 1909 the unrighteous 94 and not before 1909 the saints 40?

 6:3 Do you not know 3609a that we will judge 2919 angels 32a? How 3386 much 3386 more 3386 matters 982 of this life 982?

 6:4 So 3767 if 1437 you have 2192 law 2922 courts 2922 dealing with matters 982 of this life 982, do you appoint 2523 them as judges who are of no 1848 account 1848 in the church 1577?

 6:9 ¶ Or 2228 do you not know 3609a that the unrighteous 94 will not inherit 2816 the kingdom 932 of God 2316? Do not be deceived 4105; neither 3777 fornicators 4205, nor 3777 idolaters 1496, nor 3777 adulterers 3432, nor 3777 effeminate 3120, nor 3777 homosexuals 733a,

 6:10 nor 3777 thieves 2812, nor 3777 [the] covetous 4123, nor 3756 drunkards 3183, nor 3756 revilers 3060, nor 3756 swindlers 727, will inherit 2816 the kingdom 932 of God 2316.

 6:11 Such 3778 were some 5100 of you; but you were washed 628, but you were sanctified 37, but you were justified 1344 in the name 3686 of the Lord 2962 Jesus 2424 Christ 5547 and in the Spirit 4151 of our God 2316.

 6:12 ¶ All 3956 things 3956 are lawful 1832 for me, but not all 3956 things 3956 are profitable 4851a. All 3956 things 3956 are lawful 1832 for me, but I will not be mastered 1850 by anything 5100.

 6:13 Food 1033 is for the stomach 2836 and the stomach 2836 is for food 1033, but God 2316 will do 2673 away 2673 with both 2532 of them. Yet 1161 the body 4983 is not for immorality 4202, but for the Lord 2962, and the Lord 2962 is for the body 4983.

 6:15 Do you not know 3609a that your bodies 4983 are members 3196 of Christ 5547? Shall I then 3767 take 142 away 142 the members 3196 of Christ 5547 and make 4160 them members 3196 of a prostitute 4204? May it never 3361 be!

 6:16 Or 2228 do you not know 3609a that the one who joins 2853 himself to a prostitute 4204 is one 1520 body 4983 [with her]? For He says 5346, “THE TWO 1417 SHALL BECOME 1510 1519 ONE 1520 FLESH 4561.”

 6:17 But the one who joins 2853 himself to the Lord 2962 is one 1520 spirit 4151 [with Him].

 6:18 Flee 5343 immorality 4202. Every 3956 [other] sin 265 that a man 444 commits 4160 is outside 1622 the body 4983, but the immoral 4203 man sins 264 against 1519 his own 2398 body 4983.

 6:19 Or 2228 do you not know 3609a that your body 4983 is a temple 3485 of the Holy 40 Spirit 4151 who is in you, whom 3739 you have 2192 from God 2316, and that you are not your own 1438?

 6:20 For you have been bought 59 with a price 5092: therefore 1211 glorify 1392 God 2316 in your body 4983.
