1 Corinthians 3

2 Milk is fit for children. 3 Strife and division, arguments of a fleshly mind. 7 He that planteth, and he that watereth, is nothing. 9 The ministers are God's fellowworkmen. 11 Christ the only foundation. 16 Men the temples of God, which 17 must be kept holy. 19 The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.

3:1 And I, brethren 80, could 1410 not speak 2980 to you as to spiritual 4152 men 4152, but as to men 4560 of flesh 4560, as to infants 3516 in Christ 5547.

3:2 I gave 4222 you milk 1051 to drink 4222, not solid food 1033; for you were not yet 3768 able 1410 [to receive it]. Indeed 235, even 3761 now 3568 you are not yet 2089 able 1410,

3:3 for you are still 2089 fleshly 4559. For since 3699 there is jealousy 2205b and strife 2054 among 1722 you, are you not fleshly 4559, and are you not walking 4043 like 2596 mere men 444?

3:4 For when 3752 one 5100 says 3004, “I am 1510 of Paul 3972,” and another 2087, “I am of Apollos 625,” are you not [mere] men 444?

3:5 ¶ What 5101 then 3767 is Apollos 625? And what 5101 is Paul 3972? Servants 1249 through 1223 whom 3739 you believed 4100, even 2532 as the Lord 2962 gave 1325 [opportunity] to each 1538 one 1538.

3:6 I planted 5452, Apollos 625 watered 4222, but God 2316 was causing 837 the growth 837.

3:7 So 5620 then 5620 neither 3777 the one who plants 5452 nor 3777 the one who waters 4222 is anything 5100, but God 2316 who causes 837 the growth 837.

3:8 Now 1161 he who plants 5452 and he who waters 4222 are one 1520; but each 1538 will receive 2983 his own 2398 reward 3408 according 2596 to his own 2398 labor 2873.

3:9 For we are God’s 2316 fellow 4904 workers 4904; you are God’s 2316 field 1091, God’s 2316 building 3619.

3:10 ¶ According 2596 to the grace 5485 of God 2316 which was given 1325 to me, like 5613 a wise 4680 master 753 builder 753 I laid 5087 a foundation 2310b, and another 243 is building 2026 on it. But each 1538 man 1538 must be careful 991 how 4459 he builds 2026 on it.

3:11 For no 3762 man 3762 can 1410 lay 5087 a foundation 2310b other 243 than 3844 the one which is laid 2749, which 3739 is Jesus 2424 Christ 5547.

3:12 Now 1161 if 1487 any 5100 man 5100 builds 2026 on the foundation 2310b with gold 5553, silver 694, precious 5093 stones 3037, wood 3586, hay 5528, straw 2562,

3:13 each 1538 man’s 1538 work 2041 will become 1096 evident 5318; for the day 2250 will show 1213 it because 3754 it is [to be] revealed 601 with fire 4442, and the fire 4442 itself 846 will test 1381a the quality 3697 of each 1538 man’s 1538 work 2041.

3:14 If 1487 any 5100 man’s 5100 work 2041 which 3739 he has built 2026 on it remains 3306, he will receive 2983 a reward 3408.

3:15 If 1487 any 5100 man’s 5100 work 2041 is burned 2618 up, he will suffer 2210 loss 2210; but he himself 846 will be saved 4982, yet 1161 so 3779 as through 1223 fire 4442.

3:16 ¶ Do you not know 3609a that you are a temple 3485 of God 2316 and [that] the Spirit 4151 of God 2316 dwells 3611 in you?

3:17 If 1487 any 5100 man 5100 destroys 5351 the temple 3485 of God 2316, God 2316 will destroy 5351 him, for the temple 3485 of God 2316 is holy 40, and that is what 3748 you are.

3:18 ¶ Let no 3367 man 3367 deceive 1818 himself 1438. If 1487 any 5100 man 5100 among 1722 you thinks 1380 that he is wise 4680 in this 3778 age 165, he must become 1096 foolish 3474, so 2443 that he may become 1096 wise 4680.

3:19 For the wisdom 4678 of this 3778 world 2889 is foolishness 3472 before 3844 God 2316. For it is written 1125, “[He is] THE ONE WHO CATCHES 1405 THE WISE 4680 IN THEIR CRAFTINESS 3834”;

3:20 and again 3825, “THE LORD 2962 KNOWS 1097 THE REASONINGS 1261 of the wise 4680, THAT THEY ARE USELESS 3152.”

3:21 So 5620 then 5620 let no 3367 one 3367 boast 2744 in men 444. For all 3956 things 3956 belong 1510 to you,

3:22 whether 1535a Paul 3972 or 1535a Apollos 625 or 1535a Cephas 2786 or 1535a the world 2889 or 1535a life 2222 or 1535a death 2288 or 1535a things 1764 present 1764 or 1535a things 3195 to come 3195; all 3956 things 3956 belong to you,
