1 Corinthians 5

1 The incestuous person 6 is cause rather of shame unto them, than of rejoicing. 7 The old leaven is to be purged out. 10 Heinous offenders are to be shunned and avoided.

 5:1 It is actually 3654 reported 191 that there is immorality 4202 among 1722 you, and immorality 4202 of such 5108 a kind 5108 as does not exist even 3761 among 1722 the Gentiles 1484, that someone 5100 has 2192 his father’s 3962 wife 1135.

 5:2 You have become arrogant 5448 and have not mourned 3996 instead 3123, so 2443 that the one who had done 4238 this 3778 deed 2041 would be removed 142 from your midst 3319.

 5:3 ¶ For I, on my part 1473, though 3303a absent 548 in body 4983 but present 3918b in spirit 4151, have already 2235 judged 2919 him who has so 3779 committed 2716 this 3778, as though 5613 I were present 3918b.

 5:4 In the name 3686 of our Lord 2962 Jesus 2424, when you are assembled 4863, and I with you in spirit 4151, with the power 1411 of our Lord 2962 Jesus 2424,

 5:5 [I have decided] to deliver 3860 such 5108 a one 5108 to Satan 4567 for the destruction 3639 of his flesh 4561, so 2443 that his spirit 4151 may be saved 4982 in the day 2250 of the Lord 2962 Jesus 2424.

 5:6 ¶ Your boasting 2745 is not good 2570. Do you not know 3609a that a little 3398 leaven 2219 leavens 2220 the whole 3650 lump 5445 [of dough]?

 5:7 Clean 1571 out the old 3820 leaven 2219 so 2443 that you may be a new 3501b lump 5445, just 2531a as you are [in fact] unleavened 106. For Christ 5547 our Passover 3957 also 2532 has been sacrificed 2380.

 5:8 Therefore 5620 let us celebrate 1858b the feast 1858b, not with old 3820 leaven 2219, nor 3366 with the leaven 2219 of malice 2549 and wickedness 4189, but with the unleavened 106 bread of sincerity 1505 and truth 225.

 5:9 ¶ I wrote 1125 you in my letter 1992 not to associate 4874 with immoral 4205 people 4205;

 5:10 I [did] not at all 3843 [mean] with the immoral 4205 people 4205 of this 3778 world 2889, or 2228 with the covetous 4123 and swindlers 727, or 2228 with idolaters 1496, for then 686 you would have 3784 to go 1831 out of the world 2889.

 5:11 But actually 3568, I wrote 1125 to you not to associate 4874 with any 5100 so-called 3687 brother 80 if 1437 he is an immoral 4205 person 4205, or 2228 covetous 4123, or 2228 an idolater 1496, or 2228 a reviler 3060, or 2228 a drunkard 3183, or 2228 a swindler 727—not even 3366 to eat 4906 with such 5108 a one 5108.

 5:12 For what 5101 have I to do with judging 2919 outsiders 3588 1854? Do you not judge 2919 those 3588 who 3588 are within 2080 [the church]?

 5:13 But those 3588 who 3588 are outside 1854, God 2316 judges 2919. REMOVE 1808 THE WICKED 4190 MAN 4190 FROM AMONG 1537 YOURSELVES 4771 846.
