 16:1 ¶ I COMMEND to you Phebe our sister, who is a deaconess of the church of Kancreos,

 16:1 And I commend to you Phebe, our sister, who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea:

 16:2 that you receive her in the Lord, as is right for saints; and, in every thing which she requests from you, assist her; because she also hath assisted many, and myself also.

 16:2 that ye may receive her in our Lord, as is just for saints; and that ye may assist her, in whatever thing she may ask of you: for she also hath been assistant to many, and to me also.

 16:3 Ask for the peace of Priskela and Akulos, labourers with me in Jeshu Meshiha;

 16:3 Salute ye Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow-laborers in Jesus Messiah;

 16:4 for they themselves for my life have given their necks; and not only do I praise them, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

 16:4 who, for my life, surrendered their own necks; and to whom, not only I am grateful, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

 16:5 And give salutation to the church which is in their house. Ask the peace of Epenetos, my beloved, who was the first-fruits of Akaia in the Meshiha.

 16:6 Ask the peace of Maria, who hath laboured much with you.

 16:16 Ask for the peace one of another with the holy kiss. All the churches of the Meshiha ask for your peace.

 16:17 But I beseech of you, my brethren, beware of them who make divisions and scandals apart from the doctrine which you have learned; and be distant from them.

 16:17 And I beseech you, my Brethren, that ye beware of them who cause divisions and stumblings [among you], aside from the doctrine which ye have learned: and that ye stand aloof from them.

 16:18 For they who are thus serve not our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, but their bellies; and with sweet words and benedictions seduce the hearts of the simple.

 16:18 For they who are such, do not serve our Lord Jesus Messiah, but their own belly: and by bland speeches and good wishes, they beguile the hearts of the simple.

 16:19 But your obedience is known to every one; I rejoice therefore in you, and I wish you to be wise unto good (works), and pure with regard to [those which are] evil.

 16:19 But your obedience is known to every one. I therefore rejoice in you: and I would have you be wise in what is good, and blameless in what is evil.

 16:20 But the God of peace will soon bruise Satana beneath your feet. The grace of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha be with you!

 16:20 And the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Messiah, be with you.

 16:21 Timotheos, a labourer with me, and Lukios and Iason and Sosipatros my kinsmen ask for your peace.

 16:21 Timothy, my fellow-laborer, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you.

 16:22 I, Tertios, who have inscribed this epistle in our Lord, ask for your peace.

 16:22 I Tertius, who have written this epistle, salute you in the Lord.

 16:23 Gaios my entertainer, and of all the church, asketh for your peace; (as do) Erastos steward of the city, and Quartos a brother.

 16:23 Gaius, hospitable to me and to all the church, saluteth you. Erastus, the steward of the city, and Quartus a brother, salute you.

 16:24 {16:27} The grace of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha be with you all. Amen.

 16:25 {16:24} To Aloha, who is able to confirm you in my gospel which is proclaimed concerning Jeshu the Meshiha, through revelation of the mystery, which from the times of the ages was hidden,

 16:25 Now unto God, who is able to establish you, -(according to my gospel, which is proclaimed concerning Jesus Messiah; and according to the revelation of the mystery, which was hidden from the times that are past,

 16:26 {16:25} but is revealed in this time by means of the scriptures of the prophets, and by the commandment of the Everlasting Aloha is made known to all the nations for the obedience of faith;

 16:26 but is at this time revealed, by means of the scriptures of the prophets; and by the command of the eternal God, is made known to all the Gentiles, for the obedience of faith;)

 16:27 {16:26} (to Him) who alone is wise, be glory by Jeshu Meshiha, unto the age of ages. Amen.
