15:1 ¶
WE then, the strong, are obligated to bear up the infirmities of the weak, and not ourselves to please. |
|
15:1
We then who are strong, ought to bear the infirmity of the weak, and not to please ourselves. |
15:2
But let every one of us please his neighbour in good things as unto edification. |
|
15:2
But each of us should please his neighbor, in good things, as conducive to edification. |
15:3
Because the Meshiha also pleased not himself; but as it is written, The reproach of thy reproachers hath fallen upon me. |
|
15:3
Because Messiah also did not please himself; but, as it is written: The reviling of thy revilers fell upon me. |
15:4
For every thing that hath before been written for our instruction was written, that by the patience and consolation of the scriptures we might have hope. |
|
15:4
For every thing written of old, was written for our instruction; that we, by patience and by the consolation of the scriptures, might possess hope. |
15:5
But the God of patience and of consolation give to you that with impartiality you may think one of another in Jeshu Meshiha, |
|
15:5
And may the God of patience and of consolation, grant to you, to think in harmony one with another, in Jesus Messiah; |
15:6
that with one mind and with one mouth you may glorify Aloha, the Father of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha. |
|
15:6
so that with one mind and one mouth, ye may glorify God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Messiah. |
15:7
Therefore, receive and bear with one another, as also the Meshiha hath received you, to the glory of Aloha. |
|
15:7
Wherefore, receive ye and bear up one another, as also Messiah received you, to the glory of God. |
15:8
But I say that Jeshu Meshiha ministered [to] the circumcision, on behalf of the truth of Aloha, that he might confirm the promise of the fathers, |
|
15:8
Now I say, that Jesus Messiah ministered to the circumcision, in behalf of the truth of God, in order to confirm the promise [made] to the fathers; |
15:9
and the Gentiles might glorify Aloha for his mercy that was upon them. As it is written, I will confess thee among the Gentiles, And to thy name will I sing. |
|
15:9
and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercies upon them, as it is written: I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and to thy name will I sing psalms. |
15:10
And again he hath said, Be glad, ye Gentiles, with his people. |
|
15:10
And again he said: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. |
15:11
And again he hath said, Praise the Lord, all (ye) Gentiles; Let all peoples praise him. |
|
15:11
And again he said: Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; [and] laud him, all ye nations. |
15:12
And again, Eshaia hath said, There shall be a root of Jeshai, And he who shall arise shall be the chief of the peoples; And upon him will the Gentiles hope. |
|
15:12
And again Isaiah said: There will be a root of Jesse; and he that shall arise, will be a prince for the Gentiles; and in him will the Gentiles hope. |
15:13
But the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, through faith, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Spirit of Holiness. |
|
15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, by faith; that ye may abound in his hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit. |
15:14 ¶
BUT I am persuaded also concerning you, my brethren, that you are also full of good, and filled with all knowledge, and able also to instruct others. |
|
15:14
Now I am persuaded, my Brethren, even I, concerning you; that ye too are full of goodness, and are replenished with all knowledge, and are able also to instruct others. |
15:15
But I have somewhat boldly written to you, my brethren, as that I may put you in remembrance, through the grace which is given to me from Aloha, |
|
15:15
Yet I have written rather boldly to you, my Brethren, that I might put you in remembrance; because of the grace which is given to me by God, |
15:16
to be a minister of Jeshu Meshiha among the Gentiles, and to labour in the gospel of Aloha, that there may be an oblation of the Gentiles, acceptable and holy through the Spirit of Holiness. |
|
15:16
that I should be a minister of Jesus Messiah among the Gentiles, and should subserve the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles might be acceptable, and be sanctified by the Holy Spirit. |
15:17
I have, then, exultation in Jeshu Meshiha with Aloha. |
|
15:17
I have therefore a glorying in Jesus Messiah, before God. |
15:18
For I dare not speak any thing which the Meshiha hath not done by my hands, unto the obedience of the Gentiles, in word and in deeds, |
|
15:18
Yet I presume not to speak of any thing [done] for the obedience of the Gentiles, which Messiah hath not wrought by me, in word and in deeds, |
15:19
with the power of signs and miracles, and with the power of the Spirit of Aloha; as that I have itinerated from Urishlem unto Illyrikum, to fulfil the preaching of Meshiha; |
|
15:19
by the power of signs and wonders, and by the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem I have made a circuit quite to Illyricum, and have fulfilled the announcement of the Messiah; |
15:20
being anxious to preach, not where the name of Meshiha had been called, that I might not build upon another foundation, |
|
15:20
while I was careful not to preach where the name of Messiah had been invoked, lest I should build upon another man's foundation; |
15:21
but as it is written, They to whom it hath not been told of him, they shall see him; and they who have not heard shall be persuaded. |
|
15:21
but, it is written: They, to whom mention of him had not been made, will see him; and they, who had not heard, will be obedient. |
15:22
On this account I have been hindered many times when I would have come to you. |
|
15:22
And on this account, I have been many times prevented from coming to you. |
15:23
But now, because I have no place in these countries, and have desired for many years to come to you, |
|
15:23
But now, since I have no place in these regions, and as I have been desirous for many years past to come to you, |
15:24
when I go into Ispania, I hope to come and see you; and you shall lead me thitherward, when I shall in some measure have been gladdened with the sight of you. |
|
15:24
when I go to Spain, I hope to come and see you; and that ye will accompany me thither, when I shall have been satisfied, in some measure, with visiting you. |
15:25
But now I go to Urishlem to minister to the saints. |
|
15:25
But I am now going to Jerusalem, to minister to the saints. |
15:26
For they in Makedunia and in Akaia have desired that a communication should be made from themselves with the poor and the saints who are at Urishlem. |
|
15:26
For they of Macedonia and Achaia, have been willing to make up a contribution for the needy saints who are at Jerusalem. |
15:27
They have desired (this), because they also are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have participated with them in the Spirit, they are indebted to serve them in the flesh. |
|
15:27
They were willing, because they were also debtors to them: for if the Gentiles have been participators with them in the Spirit, they are debtors to serve them also in things of the flesh. |
15:28
This, then, when I have accomplished, and have sealed to them this fruit, I (intend to) pass by you into Ispania. |
|
15:28
When therefore, I shall have accomplished this, and shall have sealed to them this fruit, I will pass by you into Spain. |
15:29
And I know that when I come to you, with the plenitude of the blessing of the gospel of Meshiha I (shall) come. |
|
15:29
And I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Messiah. |
15:30
Now I entreat of you, my brethren, by our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, and by the love of the Spirit, to labour with me in prayer on my behalf, with Aloha, |
|
15:30
And I beseech you, my Brethren, by our Lord Jesus Messiah, and by the love of the Spirit, that ye labor with me in prayer to God for me; |
15:31
that I may be delivered from them who believe not in Jihud, and (that) the service which I bear to the saints may be well received, |
|
15:31
that I may be delivered from them in Judaea, who believe not and that the ministration, which I carry to the saints in Jerusalem, may be well received; |
15:32
and I may come to you with joy in the will of Aloha, and be rested with you. |
|
15:32
and that, by the good pleasure of God, I may come to you with joy, and may take comfort with you. |
15:33
The God of peace be with all of you. Amen. |
|
15:33
And may the God of peace be with you all: Amen. |
