1, 12 Destruction is threatened for their impiety, 5 and idolatry.

 8:3 Israel 3478 has rejected 2186a the good 2896b; The enemy 340 will pursue 7291 him.

 8:4 They have set 4427a up kings 4427a, but not by Me; They have appointed 8323 princes 8323, but I did not know 3045 [it]. With their silver 3701 and gold 2091 they have made 6213a idols 6091 for themselves, That they might be cut 3772 off 3772.

 8:11 ¶ Since 3588 Ephraim 669 has multiplied 7235a altars 4196 for sin 2398, They have become 1961 altars 4196 of sinning 2398 for him.
