 5:1 aTäh Tit'God'diy vat-G'dûd mätzôr säm älëynû BaSHëveţ yaKû al-haL'chiy ët shofëţ yis'räël š

 5:1 ¶ Now x6258 gather y1413 z8704 thyself in troops, y1416 x1413 O daughter 1323 of troops: 1416 he hath laid 7760 z8804 siege 4692 against x5921 us: they shall smite 5221 z8686 x853 the judge 8199 z8802 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 with a rod 7626 upon x5921 the cheek. 3895

וְאַתָּה בֵּית־לֶחֶם אֶפְרָתָה צָעִיר לִהְיוֹת בְּאַלְפֵי יְהוּדָה מִמְּךָ לִי יֵצֵא לִהְיוֹת מוֹשֵׁל בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל וּמוֹצָאֹתָיו מִקֶּדֶם מִימֵי עוֹלָם

 5:2 w'aTäh Bëyt-lechem ef'rätäh tzäiyr lih'yôt B'al'fëy y'hûdäh miM'khä liy yëtzë lih'yôt môshël B'yis'räël ûmôtzäotäyw miQedem miymëy ôläm

 5:2 But thou, x859 Bêŧ Läçem בֵּית־לָחֶם 1035 ´Efräŧà אֶפרָתָה, 672 [though] thou be x1961 little 6810 among the thousands 505 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה, 3063 [yet] out of x4480 thee shall he come forth 3318 z8799 unto me [that is] to be x1961 ruler 4910 z8802 in Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל; 3478 whose goings forth 4163 [have been] from of old, 6924 x4480 from everlasting. 3117 5769 x4480

לָכֵן יִתְּנֵם עַד־עֵת יוֹלֵדָה יָלָדָה וְיֶתֶר אֶחָיו יְשׁוּבוּן עַל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל

 5:3 läkhën yiT'nëm ad-ët yôlëdäh yälädäh w'yeter echäyw y'shûvûn al-B'nëy yis'räël

 5:3 Therefore x3651 will he give them up, 5414 z8799 until x5704 the time 6256 [that] she which travaileth 3205 z8802 hath brought forth: 3205 z8804 then the remnant 3499 of his brethren 251 shall return 7725 z8799 unto x5921 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל. 3478

וְעָמַד וְרָעָה בְּעֹז יְהוָה בִּגְאוֹן שֵׁם יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו וְיָשָׁבוּ כִּי־עַתָּה יִגְדַּל עַד־אַפְסֵי־אָרֶץ

 5:4 w'ämad w'rääh B'oz y'hwäh Big'ôn shëm y'hwäh élohäyw w'yäshävû Kiy-aTäh yig'Dal ad-af'šëy-äretz

 5:4 ¶ And he shall stand 5975 z8804 and feed 7462 z8804 in the strength 5797 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 in the majesty 1347 of the name 8034 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 his ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים; 430 and they shall abide: 3427 z8804 for x3588 now x6258 shall he be great 1431 z8799 unto x5704 the ends 657 of the earth. 776

וְהָיָה זֶה שָׁלוֹם אַשּׁוּר כִּי־יָבוֹא בְאַרְצֵנוּ וְכִי יִדְרֹךְ בְּאַרְמְנֹתֵינוּ וַהֲקֵמֹנוּ עָלָיו שִׁבְעָה רֹעִים וּשְׁמֹנָה נְסִיכֵי אָדָם

 5:5 w'häyäh zeh shälôm aSHûr Kiy-yävô v'ar'tzënû w'khiy yid'rokh' B'ar'm'notëynû waháqëmonû äläyw shiv'äh roiym ûsh'monäh n'šiykhëy ädäm

 5:5 And this x2088 [man] shall be x1961 the peace, 7965 when x3588 the ´Aššûr אַשּׁוּר 804 shall come 935 z8799 into our land: 776 and when x3588 he shall tread 1869 z8799 in our palaces, 759 then shall we raise 6965 z8689 against x5921 him seven 7651 shepherds, 7462 z8802 and eight 8083 principal 5257 men. 120

וְרָעוּ אֶת־אֶרֶץ אַשּׁוּר בַּחֶרֶב וְאֶת־אֶרֶץ נִמְרֹד בִּפְתָחֶיהָ וְהִצִּיל מֵאַשּׁוּר כִּי־יָבוֹא בְאַרְצֵנוּ וְכִי יִדְרֹךְ בִּגְבוּלֵנוּ ס

 5:6 w'räû et-eretz aSHûr Bacherev w'et-eretz nim'rod Bif'tächeyhä w'hiTZiyl mëaSHûr Kiy-yävô v'ar'tzënû w'khiy yid'rokh' Big'vûlënû š

 5:6 And they shall waste y7462 z8804 x7489 x853 the land 776 of ´Aššûr אַשּׁוּר 804 with the sword, 2719 and the land 776 of Nimrôđ נִמרוֹד 5248 in the entrances 6607 thereof: thus shall he deliver 5337 z8689 [us] from x4480 the ´Aššûr אַשּׁוּר, 804 when x3588 he cometh 935 z8799 into our land, 776 and when x3588 he treadeth 1869 z8799 within our borders. 1366

וְהָיָה שְׁאֵרִית יַעֲקֹב בְּקֶרֶב עַמִּים רַבִּים כְּטַל מֵאֵת יְהוָה כִּרְבִיבִים עֲלֵי־עֵשֶׂב אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יְקַוֶּה לְאִישׁ וְלֹא יְיַחֵל לִבְנֵי אָדָם

 5:7 w'häyäh sh'ëriyt yaáqov B'qerev aMiym raBiym K'ţal mëët y'hwäh Kir'viyviym álëy-ësev ásher lo-y'qaûeh l'iysh w'lo y'yachël liv'nëy ädäm

 5:7 And the remnant 7611 of Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 shall be x1961 in the midst 7130 of many 7227 people 5971 as a dew 2919 from x4480 x854 Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 as the showers 7241 upon x5921 the grass, 6212 that x834 tarrieth 6960 z8762 not x3808 for man, 376 nor x3808 waiteth 3176 z8762 for the sons 1121 of men. 120

וְהָיָה שְׁאֵרִית יַעֲקֹב בַּגּוֹיִם בְּקֶרֶב עַמִּים רַבִּים כְּאַרְיֵה בְּבַהֲמוֹת יַעַר כִּכְפִיר בְּעֶדְרֵי־צֹאן אֲשֶׁר אִם עָבַר וְרָמַס וְטָרַף וְאֵין מַצִּיל

 5:8 w'häyäh sh'ëriyt yaáqov BaGôyim B'qerev aMiym raBiym K'ar'yëh B'vahámôt yaar Kikh'fiyr B'ed'rëy-tzon ásher im ävar w'rämaš w'ţäraf w'ëyn maTZiyl

 5:8 ¶ And the remnant 7611 of Ya`áköv יַעֲקֹב 3290 shall be x1961 among the Gentiles 1471 in the midst 7130 of many 7227 people 5971 as a lion 738 among the beasts 929 of the forest, 3293 as a young lion 3715 among the flocks 5739 of sheep: 6629 who, x834 if x518 he go through, 5674 z8804 both treadeth down, 7429 z8804 and teareth in pieces, 2963 z8804 and none x369 can deliver. 5337 z8688

תָּרֹם יָדְךָ עַל־צָרֶיךָ וְכָל־אֹיְבֶיךָ יִכָּרֵתוּ פ

 5:9 Tärom yäd'khä al-tzäreykhä w'khäl-oy'veykhä yiKärëtû f

 5:9 Thine hand 3027 shall be lifted up 7311 z8799 upon x5921 thine adversaries, 6862 and all x3605 thine enemies 341 z8802 shall be cut off. 3772 z8735

וְהָיָה בַיּוֹם־הַהוּא נְאֻם־יְהוָה וְהִכְרַתִּי סוּסֶיךָ מִקִּרְבֶּךָ וְהַאֲבַדְתִּי מַרְכְּבֹתֶיךָ

 5:10 w'häyäh vaYôm-hahû n'um-y'hwäh w'hikh'raTiy šûšeykhä miQir'Bekhä w'haávad'Tiy mar'K'voteykhä

 5:10 And it shall come to pass x1961 in that x1931 day, 3117 saith 5002 z8803 Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 that I will cut off 3772 z8689 thy horses 5483 out of the midst 7130 x4480 of thee, and I will destroy 6 z8689 thy chariots: 4818

וְהִכְרַתִּי עָרֵי אַרְצֶךָ וְהָרַסְתִּי כָּל־מִבְצָרֶיךָ

 5:11 w'hikh'raTiy ärëy ar'tzekhä w'häraš'Tiy Käl-miv'tzäreykhä

 5:11 And I will cut off 3772 z8689 the cities 5892 y6145 z8676 of thy land, 776 and throw down 2040 z8804 all x3605 thy strong holds: 4013

וְהִכְרַתִּי כְשָׁפִים מִיָּדֶךָ וּמְעוֹנְנִים לֹא יִהְיוּ־לָךְ

 5:12 w'hikh'raTiy kh'shäfiym miYädekhä ûm'ôn'niym lo yih'yû-läkh'

 5:12 And I will cut off 3772 z8689 witchcrafts 3785 out of thine hand; 3027 x4480 and thou shalt have x1961 no x3808 [more] soothsayers: 6049 z8781

וְהִכְרַתִּי פְסִילֶיךָ וּמַצֵּבוֹתֶיךָ מִקִּרְבֶּךָ וְלֹא־תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה עוֹד לְמַעֲשֵׂה יָדֶיךָ

 5:13 w'hikh'raTiy f'šiyleykhä ûmaTZëvôteykhä miQir'Bekhä w'lo-tish'Tacháweh ôd l'maásëh yädeykhä

 5:13 Thy graven images 6456 also will I cut off, 3772 z8689 and thy standing images 4676 out of the midst 7130 x4480 of thee; and thou shalt no x3808 more x5750 worship 7812 z8691 the work 4639 of thine hands. 3027

וְנָתַשְׁתִּי אֲשֵׁירֶיךָ מִקִּרְבֶּךָ וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּי עָרֶיךָ

 5:14 w'nätash'Tiy áshëyreykhä miQir'Bekhä w'hish'mad'Tiy äreykhä

 5:14 And I will pluck up 5428 z8804 thy groves 842 out of the midst 7130 x4480 of thee: so will I destroy 8045 z8689 thy cities. 5892 y6145 z8676

וְעָשִׂיתִי בְּאַף וּבְחֵמָה נָקָם אֶת־הַגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר לֹא שָׁמֵעוּ ס

 5:15 w'äsiytiy B'af ûv'chëmäh näqäm et-haGôyim ásher lo shämëû š

 5:15 And I will execute 6213 z8804 vengeance 5359 in anger 639 and fury 2534 upon x853 the heathen, 1471 such as x834 they have not x3808 heard. 8085 z8804
