And when the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land, into which thou goest to possess it, and shall remove great nations from before thee, the Hittite{gr.Chettite}, and Girgashite{gr.Gergesite}, and Amorite, and Canaanite{gr.Chananite}, and Perizzite{gr.Pherezite}, and Hivite{gr.Evite}, and Jebusite, seven nations [more] numerous and stronger than you, |

Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
shall bring°°
thee into°
the land°
whither°°
thou°
goest°°
to possess°°
it, and hath cast out°°
many°
nations°
before°°
thee, the Hittites,°
and the Girgashites,°
and the Amorites,°
and the Canaanites,°
and the Perizzites,°
and the Hivites,°
and the Jebusites,°
seven°
nations°
greater°
and mightier°
than°
thou; |

and the Lord thy God shall deliver them into thy hands, then thou shalt smite them: thou shalt utterly destroy them: thou shalt not make a covenant with them, neither shall ye pity them: |

And when Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
shall deliver°°
them before°
thee; thou shalt smite°°
them, [and] utterly°°
destroy°°
them; thou shalt make°°
no°
covenant°
with them, nor°
shew mercy°°
unto them: |
|
7:3
neither shall ye contract marriages with them: thou shalt not give thy daughter to his son, and thou shalt not take his daughter to thy son. |
|

shalt thou make marriages°°

unto his son,°
nor°
his daughter°
shalt thou take°°
unto thy son.° |
|
7:4
For he will draw away thy son from me, and he will serve other gods; and the Lord will be very angry with you, and will soon utterly destroy thee. |

they will turn away°°°
thy son°
from following°°
me, that they may serve°°
other°
elohim:°
so will the anger°
of Yahweh°
be kindled°°
against you, and destroy°°
thee suddenly.° |

7:5
But thus shall ye do to them; ye shall destroy their altars, and shall break down their pillars, and shall cut down their groves, and shall burn with fire the graven images of their gods. |
|

with them; ye shall destroy°°

their images,°
and cut down°°

their graven images°
with fire.° |

7:6
For thou art a holy people to the Lord thy God; and the Lord thy God chose thee to be to him a peculiar people beyond all nations that [are] upon the face of the earth. |

thy Elohim:°
Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
hath chosen°°
thee to be°
a special°
people°
unto himself, above all°°
people°
that°
[are] upon°
the face°
of the earth.° |

It was not because ye are more numerous than all [other] nations that the Lord preferred you, and the Lord made choice of you: for ye are fewer in number than all [other] nations. |

Yahweh°
did not°
set his love°°
upon you, nor choose°°
you, because ye were more°
in number°°
than any°°
people;°
for°
ye°
[were] the fewest°
of all°°
people:° |

But because the Lord loved you, and as keeping the oath which he sware to your fathers, the Lord brought you out with a strong hand, and the Lord redeemed thee from the house of bondage, out of the hand of Pharaoh{gr.Pharao} king of Mizraim{gr.Egypt}. |

you, and because he would keep°°°°
the oath°
which°
he had sworn°°
unto your fathers,°
hath Yahweh°

with a mighty°
hand,°
and redeemed°°
you out of the house°°

of Pharaoh°
king°
of Egypt.° |

Thou shalt know therefore, that the Lord thy God, he [is] God, a faithful God, who keeps covenant and mercy for them that love him, and for those that keep his commandments to a thousand generations, |

[is] Elohim,°
the faithful°°
El,°
which keepeth°°
covenant°
and mercy°
with them that love°°
him and keep°°
his commandments°
to a thousand°

and who recompenses them that hate him to their face, to destroy them utterly; and will not be slack with them that hate him: he will recompense them to their face. |

And repayeth°°
them that hate°°
him to°
their face,°
to destroy°°
them: he will not°
be slack°°
to him that hateth°°
him, he will repay°°
him to°
his face.° |

7:11
Thou shalt keep therefore the commands, and the ordinances, and these judgments, which I command thee this day to do. |

and the statutes,°
and the judgments,°
which°
I°
command°°
thee this day,°
to do°°
them. |

7:12 ¶
And it shall come to pass when ye shall have heard these ordinances, and shall have kept and done them, that the Lord thy God shall keep for thee the covenant and the mercy, which he sware to your fathers. |
|

Wherefore it shall come to pass,°
if°
ye hearken°°°
to these°
judgments,°
and keep,°°
and do°°
them, that Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
shall keep°°
unto thee°
the covenant°
and the mercy°
which°
he sware°°
unto thy fathers:° |

And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee; and he will bless the off-spring of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the herds of thine oxen, and the flocks of thy sheep, on the land which the Lord sware to thy fathers to give to thee. |

Thou shalt be blessed beyond all nations; there shall not be among you an impotent or barren one, or among thy cattle. |

Thou shalt be°

above all°°
people:°
there shall not°
be°
male°
or female barren°
among you, or among your cattle.° |

7:15
And the Lord thy God shall remove from thee all sickness; and none of the evil diseases of Mizraim{gr.Egypt}, which thou hast seen, and all that thou hast known, will he lay upon thee; but he will lay them upon all that hate thee. |
|

will take away°°
from°
thee all°
sickness,°
and will put°°
none°°
of the evil°
diseases°
of Egypt,°
which°
thou knowest,°°
upon thee; but will lay°°
them upon all°
[them] that hate°°°
thee. |

And thou shalt eat all the spoils of the nations which the Lord thy God gives thee; thine eye shall not spare them, and thou shalt not serve their gods; for this is an offence to thee. |

the people°
which°
Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
shall deliver°°
thee; thine eye°
shall have no pity°°°
upon°
them: neither°
shalt thou serve°°°
their elohim;°
for°
that°
[will be] a snare°
unto thee. |

But if thou shouldest say in thine heart, This nation [is] greater than I, how shall I be able to destroy them utterly? |

If°
thou shalt say°°
in thine heart,°
These°
nations°
[are] more°
than°
I; how°
can°°
I dispossess°°
them? |

7:18
thou shalt not fear them; thou shalt surely remember all that the Lord thy God did to Pharaoh{gr.Pharao} and to all the Mizraimites{gr.Egyptians}: |

Thou shalt not°
be afraid°°
of°
them: [but] shalt well°°
remember°°°
what°
Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
did°°
unto Pharaoh,°
and unto all°
Egypt;° |
|
7:19
the great temptations which thine eyes have seen, those signs and great wonders, the strong hand, and the high arm; how the Lord thy God brought thee forth: so the Lord your God will do to all the nations, whom thou fearest in their presence. |
|

thine eyes°
saw,°°
and the signs,°
and the wonders,°
and the mighty°
hand,°
and the stretched out°°
arm,°
whereby°
Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
brought thee out:°°
so°
shall Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
do°°
unto all°
the people°
of whom°
thou°
art afraid.°°°° |

7:20
And the Lord thy God shall send against them the hornets, until they that are left and they that are hidden from thee be utterly destroyed. |
|
7:20
Moreover°
Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
will send°°°
the hornet°
among them, until°
they that are left,°°
and hide°°
themselves°
from°°
thee, be destroyed.°° |

7:21
Thou shalt not be wounded before them, because the Lord thy God in the midst of thee [is] a great and powerful God. |
|
7:21
Thou shalt not°
be affrighted°°
at°°
them: for°
Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
[is] among°
you, a mighty°
El°
and terrible.°° |
|
7:22
And the Lord thy God shall consume these nations before thee by little and little: thou shalt not be able to consume them speedily, lest the land become desert, and the wild beasts of the field be multiplied against thee. |
|

And Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
will put out°°°
those°
nations°
before°°
thee by little°
and little:°
thou mayest°°
not°
consume°°
them at once,°
lest°
the beasts°
of the field°
increase°°
upon°
thee. |
|
7:23
And the Lord thy God shall deliver them into thy hands, and thou shalt destroy them with a great destruction, until ye shall have utterly destroyed them. |
|

But Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
shall deliver°°
them unto°
thee,°
and shall destroy°°
them with a mighty°
destruction,°
until°
they be destroyed.°° |

7:24
And he shall deliver their kings into your hands, and ye shall destroy their name from that place; none shall stand up in opposition before thee, until thou shalt have utterly destroyed them. |
|

And he shall deliver°°
their kings°
into thine hand,°
and thou shalt destroy°°°
their name°
from under°°
heaven:°
there shall no°
man°
be able to stand°°
before°
thee, until°
thou have destroyed°°
them. |

7:25
Ye shall burn with fire the graven images of their gods: thou shalt not covet [their] silver, neither shalt thou take to thyself gold from them, lest thou shouldest offend thereby, because it is an abomination to the Lord thy God. |

desire°°
the silver°
or gold°
[that is] on°
them, nor take°°
[it] unto thee, lest°
thou be snared°°
therein: for°
it°
[is] an abomination°
to Yahweh°

And thou shalt not bring an abomination into thine house, so shouldest thou be an accursed thing like it; thou shalt utterly hate it, and altogether abominate it, because it is an accursed thing. |

a cursed thing°
like it:°
[but] thou shalt utterly°°
detest°°
it, and thou shalt utterly°°
abhor°°
it; for°
it°
[is] a cursed thing.° |
