And Mosheh{gr.Moses} finished speaking all these words to all the children of Israel; |

and said to them, I am this day a hundred and twenty years [old]; I shall not be able any longer to come in or go out; and the Lord said to me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan. |

them, I°
[am] an hundred°
and twenty°
years°
old°
this day;°
I can°°
no°
more°
go out°°
and come in:°°
also Yahweh°
hath said°°
unto°
me, Thou shalt not°
go over°°°
this°
Jordan.° |

31:3
The Lord thy God who goes before thee, he shall destroy these nations before thee, and thou shalt inherit them: and [it shall be] Joshua{gr.Jesus} that goes before thy face, as the Lord has spoken. |

he°
will go over°°
before°
thee, [and] he°
will destroy°°°
these°
nations°
from before°°
thee, and thou shalt possess°°
them: [and] Joshua,°
he°
shall go over°°
before°
thee, as°
Yahweh°
hath said.°° |

And the Lord thy God shall do to them as he did to Sihon{gr.Seon} and Og the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond Jordan, and to their land, as he destroyed them. |

And Yahweh°
shall do°°
unto them as°
he did°°
to Sihon°
and to Og,°
kings°
of the Amorites,°
and unto the land°
of them, whom°°
he destroyed.°° |

And the Lord has delivered them to you; and ye shall do to them, as I charged you. |

And Yahweh°
shall give them up°°
before your face,°
that ye may do°°
unto them according unto all°
the commandments°
which°
I have commanded°°
you. |

31:6
Be courageous and strong, fear not, neither be cowardly neither be afraid before them; for [it is] the Lord your God that advances with you in the midst of you, neither will he by any means forsake thee, nor desert thee. |

fear°°
not,°
nor°
be afraid°°
of°°
them:°
for°
Yahweh°
thy Elohim,°
he°
[it is] that doth go°°
with°
thee; he will not°
fail°°
thee, nor°
forsake°°

31:7 ¶
And Mosheh{gr.Moses} called Joshua{gr.Jesus}, and said to him before all Israel, Be courageous and strong; for thou shalt go in before this people into the land which the Lord sware to your fathers to give to them, and thou shalt give it to them for an inheritance. |
|

him in the sight°

Israel,°
Be strong°°
and of a good courage:°°
for°

must go°°
with°
this°
people°
unto°
the land°
which°
Yahweh°
hath sworn°°
unto their fathers°

shalt cause them to inherit°°
it. |

And the Lord that goes with thee shall not forsake thee nor abandon thee; fear not, neither be afraid. |

And Yahweh,°

[it is] that doth go°°
before°
thee; he°
will be°
with thee,°
he will not°
fail°°
thee, neither°
forsake°°
thee: fear°°
not,°
neither°
be dismayed.°° |

31:9 ¶
And Mosheh{gr.Moses} wrote the words of this law in a book, and gave it to the priests the sons of Levi who bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to the elders of the sons of Israel. |

the priests°
the sons°
of Levi,°

the ark°
of the covenant°
of Yahweh,°
and unto°

the elders°

And Mosheh{gr.Moses} charged them in that day, saying, After seven years, in the time of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, |

And Moses°
commanded°°
them, saying,°°
At the end°°
of [every] seven°
years,°
in the solemnity°
of the year°
of release,°
in the feast°
of tabernacles,° |

when all Israel come together to appear before the Lord your God, in the place which the Lord shall choose, ye shall read this law before all Israel in their ears, |

Israel°
is come°°
to appear°°°
before°
Yahweh°
thy Elohim°
in the place°
which°
he shall choose,°°
thou shalt read°°°
this°
law°
before°
all°
Israel°
in their hearing.° |

31:12
having assembled the people, the men, and the women, and the children, and the stranger that is in your cities, that they may hear, and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God; and they shall hearken to do all the words of this law. |

and children,°
and thy stranger°
that°
[is] within thy gates,°
that°
they may hear,°°
and that°
they may learn,°°
and fear°°°
Yahweh°
your Elohim,°
and observe°°

of this°

And their sons who have not known shall hear, and shall learn to fear the Lord thy God all the days that they live upon the land, into which ye go over Jordan to inherit it. |

And [that] their children,°
which°
have not°
known°°
[any thing], may hear,°°
and learn°°
to fear°°°
Yahweh°
your Elohim,°
as long as°°°
ye°
live°
in°
the land°
whither°°
ye°
go over°°°
Jordan°
to possess°°
it. |

31:14 ¶
And the Lord said to Mosheh{gr.Moses}, Behold, the days of thy death are at hand; call Joshua{gr.Jesus}, and stand ye by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony, and I will give him a charge. And Mosheh{gr.Moses} and Joshua{gr.Jesus} went to the tabernacle of testimony, and stood by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony. |

And Yahweh°
said°°
unto°
Moses,°
Behold,°
thy days°
approach°°
that thou must die:°°
call°°°
Joshua,°
and present°°
yourselves°
in the tabernacle°
of the congregation,°
that I may give him a charge.°°
And Moses°
and Joshua°
went,°°°
and presented°°
themselves°
in the tabernacle°
of the congregation.° |

And the Lord descended in a cloud, and stood by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony; and the pillar of the cloud stood by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony. |
|

And Yahweh°
appeared°°
in the tabernacle°
in a pillar°
of a cloud:°
and the pillar°
of the cloud°
stood°°
over°
the door°
of the tabernacle.° |

31:16 ¶
And the Lord said to Mosheh{gr.Moses}, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, and this people will arise and go a whoring after the strange gods of the land, into which they are entering: and they will forsake me, and break my covenant, which I made with them. |

And Yahweh°

Behold,°

thy fathers;°
and this°
people°
will rise up,°°
and go a whoring°°
after°
the elohim°
of the strangers°
of the land,°
whither°°
they°
go°°
[to be] among°
them, and will forsake°°
me, and break°°°
my covenant°
which°
I have made°°
with°
them. |

And I will be very angry with them in that day, and I will leave them and turn my face away from them, and they shall be devoured; and many evils and afflictions shall come upon them; and they shall say in that day, Because the Lord my God is not with me, these evils have come upon me. |

Then my anger°
shall be kindled°°
against them in that°
day,°
and I will forsake°°
them, and I will hide°°
my face°
from°
them, and they shall be°
devoured,°°
and many°
evils°
and troubles°
shall befall°°
them; so that they will say°°
in that°
day,°
Are not°
these°
evils°
come°°
upon°
us, because°°
our Elohim°
[is] not°
among°
us? |

And I will surely turn away my face from them in that day, because of all their evil doings which they have done, because they turned aside after strange gods. |
|

And I°
will surely°°
hide°°
my face°
in that°
day°
for°
all°
the evils°
which°
they shall have wrought,°°
in that°
they are turned°°
unto°
other°
elohim.° |

31:19
And now write the words of this song, and teach it to the children of Israel, and ye shall put it into their mouth, that this song may witness for me among the children of Israel to their face. |

Now°
therefore write°°°
ye this°
song°
for you, and teach°°
it°
the children°
of Israel:°
put°°
it in their mouths,°
that°
this°
song°
may be°
a witness°
for me against the children°
of Israel.° |

For I will bring them into the good land, which I sware to their fathers, to give to them a land flowing with milk and honey: and they shall eat and be filled and satisfy [themselves]; then will they turn aside after other gods, and serve them, and they will provoke me, and break my covenant. |

when I shall have brought°°
them into°
the land°
which°
I sware°°
unto their fathers,°
that floweth°°
with milk°
and honey;°
and they shall have eaten°°
and filled°°
themselves,°
and waxen fat;°°
then will they turn°°
unto°
other°
elohim,°
and serve°°
them, and provoke°°
me, and break°°°
my covenant.° |

And this song shall stand up to witness against them; for they shall not forget it out of their mouth, or out of the mouth of their seed; for I know their wickedness, what they are doing here this day, before I have brought them into the good land, which I sware to their fathers. |

And it shall come to pass,°
when°
many°
evils°
and troubles°
are befallen°°
them, that this°
song°
shall testify°°
against°
them as a witness;°
for°
it shall not°
be forgotten°°
out of the mouths°°
of their seed:°
for°
I know°°°
their imagination°
which°
they°
go about,°°
even now,°
before°
I have brought°°
them into°
the land°
which°
I sware.°° |

And Mosheh{gr.Moses} wrote this song in that day, and taught it to the children of Israel. |

And he charged Joshua{gr.Jesus}, and said, Be courageous and strong, for thou shalt bring the sons of Israel into the land, which the Lord sware to them, and he shall be with thee. |

And he gave°°
Joshua°
the son°
of Nun°
a charge,°°
and said,°°
Be strong°°
and of a good courage:°°
for°
thou°
shalt bring°°°
the children°
of Israel°
into°
the land°
which°
I sware°°
unto them: and I°
will be°
with°
thee. |

And when Mosheh{gr.Moses} finished writing all the words of this law in a book, even to the end, |

And it came to pass,°
when Moses°
had made an end°°
of writing°°°
the words°
of this°
law°
in°
a book,°
until°
they were finished,°° |

then he charged the Levites who bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying, |

That Moses°
commanded°°°
the Levites,°
which bare°°
the ark°
of the covenant°
of Yahweh,°
saying,°° |
|
31:26
Take the book of this law, and ye shall put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God; and it shall be there among you for a testimony. |

book°
of the law,°
and put°°
it in the side°°
of the ark°
of the covenant°
of Yahweh°
your Elohim,°
that it may be°
there°
for a witness°
against thee. |
|
31:27
For I know thy provocation, and thy stiff neck; for yet during my life with you at this day, ye have been provoking in your conduct toward God: how shall ye not also be so after my death? |
|
31:27
For°
I°
know°°°
thy rebellion,°
and thy stiff°
neck:°
behold,°
while I am yet°
alive°
with°
you this day,°
ye have been°
rebellious°°
against°
Yahweh;°
and how°
much more°
after°
my death?° |

31:28 ¶
Gather together to me the heads of your tribes, and your elders, and your judges, and your officers, that I may speak in their ears all these words; and I call both heaven and earth to witness against them. |
|
31:28 ¶

the elders°
of your tribes,°
and your officers,°°
that I may speak°°°
these°
words°
in their ears,°
and call°°°
heaven°
and earth°
to record°°
against them. |

31:29
For I know that after my death ye will utterly transgress, and turn aside out of the way which I have commanded you; and evils shall come upon you in the latter days, because ye will do evil before the Lord, to provoke him to anger by the works of your hands. |

ye will utterly°°
corrupt°°
[yourselves], and turn aside°°
from°
the way°
which°
I have commanded°°
you; and evil°
will befall°°
you in the latter°
days;°
because°
ye will do°°°
evil°
in the sight°

to provoke him to anger°°
through the work°
of your hands.° |

And Mosheh{gr.Moses} spoke all the words of this song even to the end, in the ears of the whole assembly. |
