Romans 8

1 They that are in Christ and live according to the Spirit, are free from condemnation. 5, 13 What harm cometh of the flesh, 6, 14 and what good of the Spirit: 17 and what of being God's child, 19 whose glorious deliverance all things long for, 29 was beforehand decreed from God. 38 What can sever us from his love?

 8:1 Therefore 686 there is now 3568 no 3762 condemnation 2631 for those 3588 who are in Christ 5547 Jesus 2424.

 8:2 For the law 3551 of the Spirit 4151 of life 2222 in Christ 5547 Jesus 2424 has set 1659 you free 1659 from the law 3551 of sin 266 and of death 2288.

 8:3 For what 102 the Law 3551 could 102 not do, weak 770 as it was through 1223 the flesh 4561, God 2316 [did]: sending 3992 His own 1438 Son 5207 in the likeness 3667 of sinful 266 flesh 4561 and [as an offering] for sin 266, He condemned 2632 sin 266 in the flesh 4561,

 8:4 so 2443 that the requirement 1345 of the Law 3551 might be fulfilled 4137 in us, who do not walk 4043 according 2596 to the flesh 4561 but according 2596 to the Spirit 4151.

 8:5 For those 3588 who are according 2596 to the flesh 4561 set 5426 their minds 5426 on the things of the flesh 4561, but those 3588 who are according 2596 to the Spirit 4151, the things of the Spirit 4151.

 8:6 For the mind 5427 set 5427 on the flesh 4561 is death 2288, but the mind 5427 set 5427 on the Spirit 4151 is life 2222 and peace 1515,

 8:7 because 1360 the mind 5427 set 5427 on the flesh 4561 is hostile 2189b toward 1519 God 2316; for it does not subject 5293 itself to the law 3551 of God 2316, for it is not even 3761 able 1410 [to do so],

 8:8 and those 3588 who are in the flesh 4561 cannot 1410 3756 please 700 God 2316.

 8:9 ¶ However 1161, you are not in the flesh 4561 but in the Spirit 4151, if 1512 indeed 1512 the Spirit 4151 of God 2316 dwells 3611 in you. But if 1487 anyone 5100 does not have 2192 the Spirit 4151 of Christ 5547, he does not belong 1510 to Him.

 8:10 If 1487 Christ 5547 is in you, though 3303a the body 4983 is dead 3498 because 1223 of sin 266, yet 1161 the spirit 4151 is alive 2222 because 1223 of righteousness 1343.

 8:11 But if 1487 the Spirit 4151 of Him who raised 1453 Jesus 2424 from the dead 3498 dwells 3611 in you, He who raised 1453 Christ 5547 Jesus 2424 from the dead 3498 will also 2532 give 2227 life 2227 to your mortal 2349 bodies 4983 through 1223 His Spirit 4151 who dwells 3611 in you.

 8:12 ¶ So 686 then 686, brethren 80, we are under 3781 obligation 3781, not to the flesh 4561, to live 2198 according 2596 to the flesh 4561—

 8:13 for if 1487 you are living 2198 according 2596 to the flesh 4561, you must 3195 die 599; but if 1487 by the Spirit 4151 you are putting 2289 to death 2289 the deeds 4234 of the body 4983, you will live 2198.

 8:14 For all 3745 who 3745 are being led 71 by the Spirit 4151 of God 2316, these 3778 are sons 5207 of God 2316.

 8:15 For you have not received 2983 a spirit 4151 of slavery 1397 leading 1519 to fear 5401 again 3825, but you have received 2983 a spirit 4151 of adoption 5206 as sons 5206 by which 3739 we cry 2896 out, “Abba 5! Father 3962!”

 8:16 The Spirit 4151 Himself 846 testifies 4828 with our spirit 4151 that we are children 5043 of God 2316,

 8:17 and if 1487 children 5043, heirs 2818 also 2532, heirs 2818 of God 2316 and fellow 4789 heirs 4789 with Christ 5547, if 1512 indeed 1512 we suffer 4841 with [Him] so 2443 that we may also 2532 be glorified 4888 with [Him].

 8:18 ¶ For I consider 3049 that the sufferings 3804 of this 3588 present 3568 time 2540 are not worthy 514 to be compared with the glory 1391 that is to be revealed 601 to us.

 8:19 For the anxious 603 longing 603 of the creation 2937 waits 553 eagerly 553 for the revealing 602 of the sons 5207 of God 2316.

 8:20 For the creation 2937 was subjected 5293 to futility 3153, not willingly 1635, but because 1223 of Him who subjected 5293 it, in hope 1680

 8:21 that the creation 2937 itself 846 also 2532 will be set 1659 free 1659 from its slavery 1397 to corruption 5356 into the freedom 1657 of the glory 1391 of the children 5043 of God 2316.

 8:22 For we know 3609a that the whole 3956 creation 2937 groans 4959 and suffers 4944 the pains 4944 of childbirth 4944 together 4959 4944 until 891 now 3568.

 8:23 And not only 3440 this, but also 2532 we ourselves 846, having 2192 the first 536 fruits 536 of the Spirit 4151, even 2532 we ourselves 846 groan 4727 within 1722 ourselves 1438, waiting 553 eagerly 553 for [our] adoption 5206 as sons 5206, the redemption 629 of our body 4983.

 8:24 For in hope 1680 we have been saved 4982, but hope 1680 that is seen 991 is not hope 1680; for who 5100 hopes 1680 for what 3739 he [already] sees 991?

 8:25 But if 1487 we hope 1679 for what 3739 we do not see 991, with perseverance 5281 we wait 553 eagerly 553 for it.

 8:26 ¶ In the same 5615 way 5615 the Spirit 4151 also 2532 helps 4878 our weakness 769; for we do not know 3609a how 5101 to pray 4336 as we should 1163, but the Spirit 4151 Himself 846 intercedes 5241 for [us] with groanings 4726 too 215 deep 215 for words 215;

 8:27 and He who searches 2045 the hearts 2588 knows 3609a what 5101 the mind 5427 of the Spirit 4151 is, because 3754 He intercedes 1793 for the saints 40 according 2596 to [the will of] God 2316.

 8:28 ¶ And we know 3609a that God 2316 causes 4903 all 3956 things 3956 to work 4903 together 4903 for good 18 to those 3588 who love 25 God 2316, to those 3588 who are called 2822 according 2596 to [His] purpose 4286.

 8:29 For those 3739 whom 3739 He foreknew 4267, He also 2532 predestined 4309 [to become] conformed 4832b to the image 1504 of His Son 5207, so 1519 that He would be the firstborn 4416a among 1722 many 4183 brethren 80;

 8:30 and these 3778 whom 3739 He predestined 4309, He also 2532 called 2564; and these 3778 whom 3739 He called 2564, He also 2532 justified 1344; and these 3778 whom 3739 He justified 1344, He also 2532 glorified 1392.

 8:31 ¶ What 5101 then 3767 shall we say 3004 to these 3778 things 3778? If 1487 God 2316 [is] for us, who 5101 [is] against 2596 us?

 8:32 He who 3739 did not spare 5339 His own 2398 Son 5207, but delivered 3860 Him over for us all 3956, how 4459 will He not also 2532 with Him freely 5483 give 5483 us all 3956 things 3956?

 8:33 Who 5101 will bring 1458 a charge 1458 against 2596 God’s 2316 elect 1588? God 2316 is the one who justifies 1344;

 8:34 who 5101 is the one who condemns 2632? Christ 5547 Jesus 2424 is He who died 599, yes 1161, rather 3123 who was raised 1453, who 3739 is at the right 1188 hand 1188 of God 2316, who 3739 also 2532 intercedes 1793 for us.

 8:35 Who 5101 will separate 5563 us from the love 26 of Christ 5547? Will tribulation 2347, or 2228 distress 4730, or 2228 persecution 1375, or 2228 famine 3042, or 2228 nakedness 1132, or 2228 peril 2794, or 2228 sword 3162?

 8:36 Just 2531a as it is written 1125, “FOR YOUR SAKE 1752a WE ARE BEING PUT 2289 TO DEATH 2289 ALL 3650 DAY 2250 LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED 3049 AS SHEEP 4263b TO BE SLAUGHTERED 4967.”

 8:37 But in all 3956 these 3778 things 3778 we overwhelmingly 5245 conquer 5245 through 1223 Him who loved 25 us.

 8:38 For I am convinced 3982 that neither 3777 death 2288, nor 3777 life 2222, nor 3777 angels 32a, nor 3777 principalities 746, nor 3777 things 1764 present 1764, nor 3777 things 3195 to come 3195, nor 3777 powers 1411,

 8:39 nor 3777 height 5313, nor 3777 depth 899, nor 3777 any 5100 other 2087 created 2937 thing 2937, will be able 1410 to separate 5563 us from the love 26 of God 2316, which is in Christ 5547 Jesus 2424 our Lord 2962.
