Romans 11

1 God hath not cast off all Israel. 7 Some were elected, though the rest were hardened. 16 There is hope of their conversion. 18 The Gentiles may not insult upon them: 26 for there is a promise of their salvation. 33 God's judgments are unsearchable.

 11:1 I say 3004 then 3767, God 2316 has not rejected 683 His people 2992, has He? May it never 3361 be! For I too 2532 am 1510 an Israelite 2475a, a descendant 4690 of Abraham 11, of the tribe 5443 of Benjamin 958.

 11:2 God 2316 has not rejected 683 His people 2992 whom 3739 He foreknew 4267. Or 2228 do you not know 3609a what 5101 the Scripture 1124 says 3004 in [the passage about] Elijah 2243, how 5613 he pleads 1793 with God 2316 against 2596 Israel 2474?

 11:3 “Lord 2962, THEY HAVE KILLED 615 YOUR PROPHETS 4396, THEY HAVE TORN 2679 DOWN 2679 YOUR ALTARS 2379, AND I ALONE 3441 AM LEFT 5275b, AND THEY ARE SEEKING 2212 MY LIFE 5590.”

 11:4 But what 5101 is the divine 5538 response 5538 to him? “I HAVE KEPT 2641 for Myself 1683 SEVEN 2035 THOUSAND 2035 MEN 435 WHO 3748 HAVE NOT BOWED 2578 THE KNEE 1119 TO BAAL 896.”

 11:5 In the same 3779 way 3779 then 3767, there has also 2532 come 1096 to be at the present 3568 time 2540 a remnant 3005 according 2596 to [God’s] gracious 5485 choice 1589.

 11:6 But if 1487 it is by grace 5485, it is no 3765 longer 3765 on the basis 1537 of works 2041, otherwise 1893 grace 5485 is no 3765 longer 3765 grace 5485.

 11:7 ¶ What 5101 then 3767? What 5101 Israel 2474 is seeking 1934, it has not obtained 2013, but those 1589 who were chosen 1589 obtained 2013 it, and the rest 3062 were hardened 4456;

 11:8 just 2509 as it is written 1125, “GOD 2316 GAVE 1325 THEM A SPIRIT 4151 OF STUPOR 2659, EYES 3788 TO SEE 991 NOT AND EARS 3775 TO HEAR 191 NOT, DOWN 2193 TO THIS 4594 VERY 4594 DAY 2250.”

 11:9 And David 1160b says 3004, “LET THEIR TABLE 5132 BECOME 1096 A SNARE 3803 AND A TRAP 2339, AND A STUMBLING 4625 BLOCK 4625 AND A RETRIBUTION 468 TO THEM.

 11:10 “LET THEIR EYES 3788 BE DARKENED 4654 TO SEE 991 NOT, AND BEND 4781 THEIR BACKS 3577 FOREVER 1223 3956.”

 11:11 ¶ I say 3004 then 3767, they did not stumble 4417 so 2443 as to fall 4098, did they? May it never 3361 be! But by their transgression 3900 salvation 4991 [has come] to the Gentiles 1484, to make 3863 them jealous 3863.

 11:12 Now 1161 if 1487 their transgression 3900 is riches 4149 for the world 2889 and their failure 2275 is riches 4149 for the Gentiles 1484, how 4214 much 4214 more 3123 will their fulfillment 4138 be!

 11:13 But I am speaking 3004 to you who are Gentiles 1484. Inasmuch 1909 3745 then 3767 as I am 1510 an apostle 652 of Gentiles 1484, I magnify 1392 my ministry 1248,

 11:14 if 1487 somehow 4458 I might move 3863 to jealousy 3863 my fellow 4561 countrymen 4561 and save 4982 some 5100 of them.

 11:15 For if 1487 their rejection 580 is the reconciliation 2643 of the world 2889, what 5101 will [their] acceptance 4356 be but life 2222 from the dead 3498?

 11:16 If 1487 the first 536 piece 536 [of dough] is holy 40, the lump 5445 is also 2532; and if 1487 the root 4491 is holy 40, the branches 2798 are too 2532.

 11:17 ¶ But if 1487 some 5100 of the branches 2798 were broken 1575 off 1575, and you, being 1510 a wild 65 olive 65, were grafted 1461b in among 1722 them and became 1096 partaker 4791 with them of the rich 4096 root 4491 of the olive 1636 tree 1636,

 11:18 do not be arrogant 2620 toward 2620 the branches 2798; but if 1487 you are arrogant 2620, [remember that] it is not you who supports 941 the root 4491, but the root 4491 [supports] you.

 11:19 You will say 3004 then 3767, “Branches 2798 were broken 1575 off 1575 so 2443 that I might be grafted 1461b in.”

 11:20 Quite 2573 right 2573, they were broken 1575 off 1575 for their unbelief 570, but you stand 2476 by your faith 4102. Do not be conceited 5426 5308, but fear 5399;

 11:21 for if 1487 God 2316 did not spare 5339 the natural 5449 branches 2798, He will not spare 5339 you, either 3761.

 11:22 Behold 3708 then 3767 the kindness 5544 and severity 663 of God 2316; to those 3588 who fell 4098, severity 663, but to you, God’s 2316 kindness 5544, if 1437 you continue 1961 in His kindness 5544; otherwise 1893 you also 2532 will be cut 1581 off 1581.

 11:23 And they also 2548, if 1437 they do not continue 1961 in their unbelief 570, will be grafted 1461b in, for God 2316 is able 1415 to graft 1461b them in again 3825.

 11:24 For if 1437 you were cut 1581 off 1581 from what 65 is by nature 5449 a wild 65 olive 65 tree 65, and were grafted 1461b contrary 3844 to nature 5449 into a cultivated 2565 olive 2565 tree 2565, how 4214 much 4214 more 3123 will these 3778 who 3588 are the natural 2596 5449 [branches] be grafted 1461b into their own 2398 olive 1636 tree 1636?

 11:25 ¶ For I do not want 2309 you, brethren 80, to be uninformed 50 of this 3778 mystery 3466—so 2443 3361 that you will not be wise 5429 in your own 1438 estimation 1438—that a partial 3313 hardening 4457 has happened 1096 to Israel 2474 until 891 the fullness 4138 of the Gentiles 1484 has come 1525 in;

 11:26 and so 3779 all 3956 Israel 2474 will be saved 4982; just 2531a as it is written 1125, “THE DELIVERER 4506 WILL COME 2240 FROM ZION 4622, HE WILL REMOVE 654 UNGODLINESS 763 FROM JACOB 2384.”

 11:27 “THIS 3778 IS MY COVENANT 1242 WITH THEM, WHEN 3752 I TAKE 851 AWAY 851 THEIR SINS 266.”

 11:28 From the standpoint 2596 of the gospel 2098 they are enemies 2190 for your sake 1223, but from the standpoint 2596 of [God’s] choice 1589 they are beloved 27 for the sake 1223 of the fathers 3962;

 11:29 for the gifts 5486 and the calling 2821 of God 2316 are irrevocable 278.

 11:30 For just 5618 as you once 4218 were disobedient 544 to God 2316, but now 3568 have been shown 1653 mercy 1653 because of their disobedience 543,

 11:31 so 3779 these 3778 also 2532 now 3568 have been disobedient 544, that because of the mercy 1656 shown to you they also 2532 may now 3568 be shown 1653 mercy 1653.

 11:32 For God 2316 has shut 4788 up all 3956 in disobedience 543 so 2443 that He may show 1653 mercy 1653 to all 3956.

 11:33 ¶ Oh 5599, the depth 899 of the riches 4149 both 2532 of the wisdom 4678 and knowledge 1108 of God 2316! How 5613 unsearchable 419 are His judgments 2917 and unfathomable 421 His ways 3598!

 11:34 For WHO 5101 HAS KNOWN 1097 THE MIND 3563 OF THE LORD 2962, OR 2228 WHO 5101 BECAME 1096 HIS COUNSELOR 4825?

 11:35 Or 2228 WHO 5101 HAS FIRST 4272 GIVEN 4272 TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID 467 BACK 467 TO HIM AGAIN?

 11:36 For from Him and through 1223 Him and to Him are all 3956 things 3956. To Him [be] the glory 1391 forever 165. Amen 281.
