 27:1 ¶ And Möšè מֹשֶׁה° with the elders° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° commanded°°° the people,° saying,°° Keep°°° all° the commandments° which° I° command°° you this day.°

 27:1 ¶ And Mosheh with the elders of Yisrael commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.

 27:2 And it shall be° on the day° when° ye shall pass over°°° Yardën יַרדֵּן° unto° the land° which° Yähwè יָהוֶה° thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° giveth°° thee, that thou shalt set thee up°° great° stones,° and plaister°° them with plaister:°

 27:2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Yarden unto the land which Yahweh thy Elohim giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:

 27:3 And thou shalt write°° upon° them° all° the words° of this° law,° when thou art passed over,°° that°° thou mayest go in°° unto° the land° which° Yähwè יָהוֶה° thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° giveth°° thee, a land° that floweth°° with milk° and honey;° as° Yähwè יָהוֶה° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of thy fathers° hath promised°° thee.

 27:3 And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which Yahweh thy Elohim giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as Yahweh Elohim of thy fathers hath promised thee.

 27:4 Therefore it shall be° when ye be gone over°°° Yardën יַרדֵּן,° [that] ye shall set up°°° these° stones,° which° I° command°° you this day,° in mount° `Êväl עֵיבָל,° and thou shalt plaister°° them with plaister.°°°

 27:4 Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Yarden, [that] ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Eval, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.

 27:5 And there° shalt thou build°° an altar° unto Yähwè יָהוֶה° thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° an altar° of stones:° thou shalt not° lift up°° [any] iron° [tool] upon° them.

 27:5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto Yahweh thy Elohim, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up [any] iron [tool] upon them.

 27:6 Thou shalt build°°° the altar° of Yähwè יָהוֶה° thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of whole° stones:° and thou shalt offer°° burnt offerings° thereon° unto Yähwè יָהוֶה° thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים:°

 27:6 Thou shalt build the altar of Yahweh thy Elohim of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto Yahweh thy Elohim:

 27:7 And thou shalt offer°° peace offerings,° and shalt eat°° there,° and rejoice°° before° Yähwè יָהוֶה° thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים.°

 27:7 And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before Yahweh thy Elohim.

 27:8 And thou shalt write°° upon° the stones°° all° the words° of this° law° very°° plainly.°°°

 27:9 ¶ And Möšè מֹשֶׁה° and the priests° the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם° spake°° unto° all° Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,° saying,°° Take heed,°° and hearken,°° O Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל;° this° day° thou art become°° the people° of Yähwè יָהוֶה° thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים.°

 27:9 ¶ And Mosheh and the priests the Lewiyyim spake unto all Yisrael, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Yisrael; this day thou art become the people of Yahweh thy Elohim.

 27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey°° the voice° of Yähwè יָהוֶה° thy ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° and do°°° his commandments° and his statutes,° which° I° command°° thee this day.°

 27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of Yahweh thy Elohim, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

 27:11 ¶ And Möšè מֹשֶׁה° charged°°° the people° the same° day,° saying,°°

 27:11 ¶ And Mosheh charged the people the same day, saying,

 27:12 These° shall stand°° upon° mount° Gærizîm גְּרִזִים° to bless°°° the people,° when ye are come over°°° Yardën יַרדֵּן;° Šim`ôn שִׁמעוֹן,° and Lëwî לֵוִי,° and Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,° and Yiŝŝäjȼär יִשָּׂשכָר,° and Yôsëf יוֹסֵף,° and Binyämîn בִּניָמִין:°

 27:12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Yarden; Shimon, and Lewi, and Yehudah, and Yissaskhar, and Yosef, and Binyamin:

 27:13 And these° shall stand°° upon mount° `Êväl עֵיבָל° to° curse;° Ræ´ûvën רְאוּבֵן,° Gäđ גָּד,° and ´Äšër אָשֵׁר,° and Zævûlûn זְבוּלוּן,° Dän דָּן,° and Naftälî נַפתָּלִי.°

 27:13 And these shall stand upon mount Eval to curse; Reuven, Gad, and Asher, and Zevulun, Dan, and Naftali.

 27:14 ¶ And the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם° shall speak,°° and say°° unto° all° the men° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° with a loud°° voice,°

 27:14 ¶ And the Lewiyyim shall speak, and say unto all the men of Yisrael with a loud voice,

 27:15 Cursed°° [be] the man° that° maketh°° [any] graven° or molten image,° an abomination° unto Yähwè יָהוֶה,° the work° of the hands° of the craftsman,° and putteth°° [it] in [a] secret° [place]. And all° the people° shall answer°° and say,°° Amen.°

 27:16 Cursed°° [be] he that setteth light°° by his father° or his mother.° And all° the people° shall say,°° Amen.°
